Extremely chill vibe, interesting people staying there and a beautiful house with great shared spaces. I love the kitchen and the dining room in particular. I loved the neighborhood too and found it easy to get to the El
The only flaw was they need a bigger trashcan in the bathroom.

The staff were lovely, rooms were clean. Nice facilities, massive bed. Massive kitchen, we could leave our snacks in the fridge. Bathroom was lovely and shampoo and body wash was provided along with clean towels.
An email said we could check-in to just leave our bags but not enter our room at 12pm, however they had not updated the code until 3pm. We had to wait with our bags during a thunderstorm as we had planned to leave our bags and go.
Downstairs was lovely and cold, due to air-conditioning but upstairs was humid and hot. It felt like you had walked into a room where someone had a hot shower, except you couldn't escape the heat anywhere on the top floor.

I visited Chicago during a festival week that’s why i couldn’t book 6 consecutive nights at one place and booked 3 different hotels and hostels. Staying at Greenleaf was the highlight of my trip.
Amazing neighborhood, cleanness, homey atmosphere, kitchen with full facilities. Will be back for sure.
And it’s super close to public transportation ALSO you can easily find free parking

Room #2 was quite warm during the summer months — only one AC vent plus one fan.
