Simply amazing! The location was great, house was awesome and the pool was a great addition for our family. The host was very welcoming and informative. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The view is completely understated and is just something you can’t capture through photos. We just loved sitting in the lounge chairs admiring the view in the mornings and evenings. Edoardo was easy to communicate with, responded quickly with questions and friendly. The house is amazing! If you want to feel like you’re living in an Italian home, than this is it. My kids had a blast with the pool, pool table and ping pong table. Advice: just be aware that there isn’t AC, but there are lockable window slats to get a breeze in during the evening. Bring bug spray if you’re susceptible to mosquitos. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to their salvia, but hydrocortisone and spray may be purchased at the local Co Op. Wineries are EVERYWHERE and extremely close. Great, friendly feel. We actually ate at the house most of the time. Once again the Co Op supermarket went beyond the norm: meat, fresh pasta, bread, fresh sauces, pizza dough, charcuterie fixings, local wines, fresh fruit and veggies.

We were fortunate to find such a beautiful house in the most enjoyable surrounding you can find in Tuscany. The panoramic view of the small hills is worth the trip on itself. Fully equiped and very comfortable, the only con’s is that we visited less the area as we felt so great in the house/garden. Nice walking trails are directly accessible from the house. We loved staying at Villa Andrei. Our welcome by Eduardo started us off right by him helping us to find a place for a very late dinner. The setting among the olive trees and vineyards was stunning and picture perfect. The sunsets from the backyard were beyond words. Loved the pizza oven, ping pong tabel and bikes.

The house is amazing. The view all aroud is so much more beautiful than captured in pictures. Great place right in the middle of wineyards and olivetrees. It was perfectly clean and has everything you need and many more. We have had awesome nights baking pizza and playing pool. The location of the villa is ideal nearby Florence and Lucca. The owners are very kind and help you wherever they can. The wine and olive oil they had for us tasted also very good. We would definitely recommend this villa!

Das Haus liegt am Ende einer Schotterstraße mitten in der typischen und wunderschönen toskanischen Landschaft, umgeben von Weinbergen und Olivenhainen. Das Haus ist perfekt für bis zu sechs Personen und ist fast noch besser als beschrieben. Die Küche ist umfangreich ausgestattet und das riesige Wohn-/Esszimmer mit Bar bietet genügend Platz für alle. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles im Haus und darum herum sauber und aufgeräumt. Unsere Gastgeber waren zur Anreise persönlich vor Ort und erklärten uns in gutem Englisch das gesamte Haus. Selbst die Zutaten für ein Pastagericht hatten sie in der Küche deponiert - für den Fall, dass wir nicht eingekauft hätten. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts waren sie jederzeit elektronisch ansprechbar und haben schnell und gut auf unsere Fragen und kleinen Probleme reagiert. Insgesamt können wir das Haus und die Gastgeber uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Also, nice pizza oven and grill outside! In half an hour you are in Florence and also sienna is not far away. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We can definitely recommend this villa if you are looking for a relaxing vacation, surrounded by the small hills and winefields of Tuscany. Don’t forget to get something for the mosquitoes, though.

Villa Andrei is really a very beautiful house for a lovely stay. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The villa is very convenient and for sure you will have a wonderful stay here. Especially in the evenings it is great to have diner at the terrace and enjoy the sunset. Tomasso and Eduardo are very kind hosts.

Die Villa ist ein Traum in einer traumhaften Umgebung! Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier absolut richtig. Die Ausstattung der Villa ist top, auch in der Küche ist alles mehr als genügend vorhanden. Wir können nur schwärmen.... gerne wieder!

La casa è perfetta e corrisponde pienamente alla descrizione. La cucina è dotata di tutti gli accessori, non manca veramente nulla. Si gode una vista splendida sulle colline toscane e si ammirano dei tramonti e delle stellate magnifiche. Si raggiungono facilmente località vicine da visitare e non ultimo la sala giochi ci ha permesso di passare delle divertenti serate. Il proprietario Edoardo ci ha consigliato ristoranti e passeggiate. Sempre presente al bisogno, ma molto discreto. Ci siamo veramente rilassati e divertiti. Consigliatissimo!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz und einer riesigen Terrasse, die einen tollen Ausblick auf die Weinberge und Hügel des Chianti-Gebietes bietet. Vor allem die Sonnenuntergänge dort haben uns begeistert. Gute Ausstattung des Hauses; v.a. den großen Grill und den Pizzaofen im Garten haben wir gerne und viel genutzt. Ein absoluter Bonus waren die Tischtennisplatte und der Billardtisch im Obergeschoss. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, um das Chiantigebiet zu erkunden, aber auch klassische Ziele wie Florenz, San Gimignano oder Siena erreicht man recht schnell und einfach. Ruhige Wanderwege starten direkt am Haus. Der große Garten (nicht eingezäunt) ist ideal für einen Urlaub mit Hund oder kleinen Kindern. Das kleine Örtchen Montefiridolfi ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt und bietet einen kleinen Alimentari sowie ein tolles kleines Ristorante mit toskanischen Küche. Die Besitzer des Hauses sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als zu Beginn der Gasherd nicht funktioniert hat, waren sie schnell zur Stelle und haben das Problem umgehend gelöst. Eduardo, nochmal vielen Dank, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Eurer Villa!

The house is amazing. Nice views to Tuscany fields, forests and vineyards from the house. We stayed for one week and we enjoyed a lot our stay. The house had everything we needed, it was clean, well equipped and it had a lot of things to do: Billiard, table tennis , garden, bbq, bicycles, a counter inside! and a lot of space around the house (perfect for kids). The owners were very keen and they quickly answered to every question we had. You should know that the access to the house is through a non asfalted road, but the location (Chianti) is perfect to visit any place/town between Firenze, Volterra and Siena. One thing to fix is the handle of the fridge, cause it was broken. Thanks a lot! A place to really enjoy Tuscany.

La maison est spacieuse et agréable, bien équipée et au calme. Petit bémol : chemin d'accès non goudronné sur plus d'un km. Les vélos (prévoir peut-être un vélo enfant ), le billard et le ping-pong permettent de passer de bons moments avec les enfants. Les terrasses et le jardin offrent de très belles vues. La maison est très bien située pour visiter la région qui est magnifique (Florence, Sienne, San Gimignano...). En conclusion : très bon séjour en Toscane !

We spent two great weeks there. The only disturbing thing was the mosquitoes, lots of them.

We had a great time in the house which is actually a lot bigger than what it looks like on the pictures. The view is wonderful and it is pretty well located to visit Tuscany’s attractions.

Schönes, rustikal ausgestattetes Ferienhaus Wir haben dieses Haus nach 2017 zum 2. Mal gebucht und sind, nach wie vor, begeistert von der ruhigen, abgeschiedenen Lage. Erholung ist hier wirklich überhaupt kein Problem. Die gesamte Ausstattung des Hauses ist in Ordnung. Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wij waren met een stel vrienden en hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Alles is prima in orde, geweldig uitzicht, heerlijk terras, prima keuken en goede bedden. Open haard buiten en binnen, pizza oven buiten. Eigenaar is zeer hartelijk en gemakkelijk. Tijdens ons verblijf ging het koffiezetapparaat stuk en binnen een paar uur stond er een nieuwe. Mooie centrale locatie voor Florence, Siena, San Gimignano etc.

Villa Andrei är ett perfekt hus för rekreation och utflykter i omgivningarna. Närheten till Florens, Sienna och andra sevärdheter som Volterra, SAN Gimingiano och cresaldo är fina dagsutflykter med bil. Huset är väldigt trivsamt med fantastisk veranda att äta middag på där man kan njuta av den Toscanska solnedgången. Fridfull och tysta är omgivningar, bara fågelsången hörs från de höga träden och olivlundarna. Fasaner, hjortar, kaniner kom på besök under dom ljumma morgontimmarna Ett paradis som vi redan längtar tillbaka till.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Villa Andrei. Wonderful views, beautiful sunsets and a very comfortable home. Plenty of sunny areas and plenty of places to escape the sun. Loved every moment there.

We hadden begin juli 2018 met 6 personen (6 volwassenen) Villa Andrei gehuurd. Villa Andrei is een heerlijk huis op een fantastische locatie. We hebben ervan genoten! Een mooi huis met de nodige voorzieningen, schitterend uitzicht, mooi landschap, afgelegen en rustig. Ruime villa, goede keuken met alle voorzieningen, 3 slaapkamers met extra slaapbank op 1e etage, ruime huiskamer met bar, 2 badkamers, authentieke pizzaoven buiten (erg leuk om pizza's te bakken), ruim perceel etc. etc. En niet onbelangrijk uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst door Rita, de beheerder van Villa Andrei. Rita is bijzonder hulpzaam en goed te bereiken. Ook leuk om te doen ... op de fiets naar het dorp ... biljarten en tafeltennis en ... uitrusten in de ligstoelen..... En tot slot ... uitstekend gelegen om Toscane te verkennen.... Florence, Siena , San Gimignano, Greve in Chianti, Pienza, Luca, Pisa, Montepulciano, genoeg mooie dorpjes en stadjes ... en niet te vergeten schitterend landschap! Veel plezier in Toscane! Ciao!

A 8 personnes (2 familles de 4 personnes), nous sommes partis découvrir la magnifique région de la Toscane. La propriété de Tommaso est parfaitement conçue pour accueillir 8 personnes grâce à ses espaces spacieux. Perchée en haut d'une colline on peut découvrir la magnifique campagne du Chianti. La terrasse est assez grande pour y prendre tous les repas. La table de ping pong, le billard et les vélos mis à disposition nous ont permis de passer de bons moments. Merci à Rita pour son bel accueil lors de notre arrivée !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison qui est spacieuse avec une vue magnifique. Nous nous sommes sentis immédiatement chez nous. La maison est mieux en réalité que sur le site car elle est très grande. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec une vue sur le Chianti est particulièrement appréciable. Il est facile de se rendre à Florence mais aussi à Pise, San Gimignano et Sienne. L'accueil a été parfait et une bonne bouteille de Chianti nous attendait. Le billard nous a permis de partager de bons moments. Merci pour ces belles vacances que nous n'oublierons jamais.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances ! La maison est très bien située pour visiter (Florence, Sienne, Grève in Chianti...) La maison est perdue au milieu des collines toscanes, c'est idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer ! La vue que l'on a de la terrasse est époustouflante... Seul bémol : les moustiques !!!

I want to live in Villa Andrei permanently. This is pretty much the best holiday home I have ever stayed at. What strikes you first when you arrive is the amazing location, perched on the top of a hill. Frankly, you could spend two weeks just walking around the grounds looking at the view of vineyards, olive groves and Tuscan landscape. We stayed during a heatwave so spent most of the time outside on the many verandahs and patios, where we ate, sampled the local drink, snoozed, read, played games, watched lizards catching flies, and just looked at the view, especially the incredible sunsets. The villa is well equipped with everything a modern family requires - in our case, with sons aged from 15-20, fast and reliable wi-fi, table tennis and a pool table kept them happy. I couldn't resist making pizza on the table outside the kitchen door, ready for my husband to cook in the wood-fired pizza oven. I now want one for my garden, but sadly the weather in England probably doesn't justify it! There are so many wonderful places to visit nearby (within 60-90 minutes' drive). There's the biggies: Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca. But also San Gimignano, and a tour of Chianti villages including Castellina in Chianti, Volpaia, Greve in Chianti and Montefioralle. Rita and Edoardo answered any queries we had very promptly and were very friendly and welcoming. We, very reluctantly, came back home and immediately starting talking about booking again for next year. It was such a fantastic base for a holiday. You know when you sometimes get back from holiday and within a week of being back at work it seems like a distant memory? It was the complete opposite of this after our fortnight at Villa Andrei, we keep on reliving the wonderful heat, the steady chatter of cicadas, the smell of olive groves and vines, the comfort and relaxation of being on holiday in Villa Andrei. I want to go back. I want to live in Chianti!
