This Hotel makes a big impact on arrival. Breakfast was wonderful (even included scrambled eggs) and the swimming pool and views are simply phenominal and I really enjoyed the honesty bar and decent prices for drinks.
Don’t expect much more though (rooms are average and the common areas offer nothing worth taking a picture of). I loved the idea of spending a night in an ancient castle - so it delivered, but I wish the interior was as dramatic as the exterior and overall it was priced too high

The hotel is located the vineyards of Tuscany and has a large garden with beautiful views.
nobody stays at the castle after 6 pm, so you won't be able to find anyone if you need emergency assistance. We requested a reservation at the hotel restaurant for our first night, but no one informed us that the restaurant was 500 meters away from the hotel.
