My wife and I found the location of this apartment to be ideal for walking throughout the downtown area and down to Coal Harbor. Numerous restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Parking is available and free, which is a huge plus considering that the apartment building is located in the heart of downtown. The washing machine and dryer are not located in the apartment. Instead, they are located on the same floor as the apartment, and they are shared by every occupant on that floor. You pay for the use of them with a card that the owner provides, which you can add money to it from a machine on the ground floor of the building. The apartment was small but adequate. It had a well-stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses, silverware, etc... It lacked sufficient face and hand towels. There was only one each. My wife slipped in the tub/shower because the tub was slippery. We informed the owner, and he assured us that he would address it. The one major drawback to this apartment is the noise. The bedroom airconditioning/heating unit requires the bedroom window to be cracked in order for it to properly vent. That allows for noise from the streets below to be heard, and there is a lot of noise. The apartment is located in a popular area for clubs and nightlife. My wife and I had to hear party revelers every night yelling and screaming until approximately 4 a.m. If you are not bothered by noise, I would definitely recommend this apartment for its ideal downtown location; however, if you are sensitive to noise, as we are, then I would not recommend that you stay here.

Apartment is in a convenient location for anything you might want to do in Vancouver. However it overlooks a very busy intersection where there are nightclubs and pubs so it is noisy at night which means you can't leave the window open and the portable aircon units are too noisy to keep on so rooms were very stuffy overnight. Communication with the owner was excellent and he attended to our requests immediately. Apartment is well equipped with everything you might need. Bedroom is small and would be better without the TV and chest of drawers - just a bench for suitcases would be much better use of space. Bed needs new mattress as we rolled into the middle. Collection of keys was very easy and the building felt secure and safe. Holiday Inn just up the road was good for pick up/drop off from tours. Short walk to Yaletown restaurants and Robson St shops.

LOCATION WAS GOOD, EASY TO FIND. KEY CAFE WORKS GREAT AND WAS CLOSE BY. WE WERE MISSING THE PARKING PASS WHEN WE ARRIVED AND HAD TO CONTACT BRAD FOR THE INFO SO OUR VEHICLE WOULDN'T BE TOWED, HE GOT BACK TO US RIGHT AWAY. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE UNIT SO IT WAS ABOUT 40 DEGREES IN THERE, GOT AHOLD OF BRAD AND HE BROUGHT A FAN OVER WITHIN THE HOUR. THIS HELPED TO MOVE THE AIR AROUND BUT DID NOT COOL IT DOWN EVEN THROUGH THE EVENINGS WAS STIFFILING HOT. THE UNIT DOES NEED SOME TLC ESPECIALLY IN THE BATHROOM VERY WORN. FELT VERY SAFE WITH THE FOB FOR ENTRANCE AND LOBBY AND PARKING.
