Clean, comfortable hotel. Love the location to the marina. The food at the Anchor & Ore was good, although we couldn't order exactly what we wanted.
Limited parking. The hotel restaurant, Anchor & Ore, was very nice, however we were informed as we ordered that the deep fryer had been broken for 2 weeks. That seems like something that should have been fixed. There we a lot of vagrants/beggars in close proximity to the hotel.

We have stayed at the Delta for many years when we go up to our camp. Always very happy and we look forward to coming back each year. Staff is very friendly, beds super comfy, the area is (by daylight) beautifully designed, you can go for a walk in the evening and when the weather is good the kids can enjoy the ‘splash pad’ out front. The views from the lake view rooms are nice with big windows. We booked a room with breakfast included and that made the price way more reasonable. Nice breakfast (we liked the breakfast better than the dinner we had). Maybe for dinner go across the road.
This year we stayed for two nights today, each one week apart. The first one was on a Friday when we just arrived flying into Thunder Bay and before driving up to our camp the next day. It was great, we had a great sleep, it was quiet, had a nice breakfast and all was fine. The week after, we arrived from our camp and had a super early flight out on Sunday. That night just felt totally different. Outside there were many ‘sketchy’ looking people. They were loud, weird acting (maybe on alcohol/drugs?), and throughout the night it was loud. People running in hallways, groups making noises and when we left at 4am, there was a lot of screaming outside and again many sketchy looking people just hanging around and making us feel just slightly unsafe having to get our car in de dark from around the hotel. This was not what we expected from Delta Hotel and not at this price point.
