About this house rental
Situated in Goult, this charming house for $366 per night is a great choice for your next break. In the heart of the Luberon, between vineyards and pine forests, an authentic holiday home with a large garden on 3 hectares of land. Each room is equipped with a bathroom and toilet. A beautiful swimming pool (10m x 6m) + children's bath. It is surrounded by a garden with trees and garden furniture, children's games, swings and a hut. The house has been completely renovated and decorated in summer 2016. It is easily accessible to the villages of Roussillon, Goult, Gordes. Close to all shops and super market and farmers markets. From the house you can go for beautiful walks or bike rides. A quiet place where you feel good, to spend good times with friends or family. A warm stay in Provence.

We’ve stayed in this location for 2 weeks.
4 adults and two little ones (3,1 years old)
The house is very comfortable and was clean and perfectly designed.
The pool has a little part where it is not deep, which makes it perfect for children.
The garden is huge and there are a lot places in the shadow where you can relax.
Behind the house is a little woodhouse where you find inside plenty of toys for children. A cooking area, dolls, Lego and a lot of different other stuff for playing.
I can definitely recommend it for family’s with children!! But you need to do everything by car, it’s a little to far away for waking to the next village but that wasn’t a problem for us.
We will come back, thanks a lot!!

Ein wunderbares Haus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft! Der Pool ist wunderbar, es gibt draußen viele Sitzmöglichkeiten im Schatten und in der Sonne. Vielen vielen Dank an Françoise, sie ist die netteste und verständnisvollste Vermieterin die wir je hatten! Die Kommunikation war sehr einfach in englisch oder französisch und sie hat sich so liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Merci Françoise!

Peaceful and relaxing house in Provence's Luberon Valley
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house set amonst the vineyards of the Luberon Valley. Our hosts, Francoise and Max were lovely as well, responding to emails promptly and making themselves available for any questions during our stay. They met us at the house and walked us through the property and left us with a number of suggestions for things to do, places to eat, and wineries to explore.
The house is set up nicely for cooking and entertaining. We were 4 adults and we all found our favorite place to hang out, whether that was on the covered patio, near the pool, or the day bed set off to a side of the property under the trees.
We like to hike and bicycle and this location was perfect for both. We hiked to Roussillon one day, and drove to Bonnieux to rent bicycles on 2 other days to explore the hilltop towns of Menerbes and Lacoste. Gordes, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Rustrel are all within easy driving distance as well.
All in all, we had a lovely time and would happily return again.

La maison est superbe: charmante, dans un parfait état, bien équipée et très propre. On a beaucoup de place, aussi bien à l‘intérieur qu‘à l‘extérieur.
La piscine est superbe et on a l‘impression de nager dans la forêt.
On a été acueilli très chaleureusement par la propriétaire qui nous a donné beaucoup de renseignements et d‘idées pour des excursions et visites.
On reviendra avec plaisir dans cette maison:-)

Wir haben unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Tolles Haus, trotz warmer Temperaturen, immer kühl, sehr schöner Garten. Tolle Einrichtung, super Küche. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir am liebsten nicht mehr gefahren wären. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Le Cabanon des Ocres ist ein Paradies
Das Landhaus zwischen Goult und Roussillon liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend in der Luberon;umgeben von Mischwäldern, Weinhängen und weitläufigen Wiesen. Das Haus und das große Grundstück sind traumhaft; es ist alles nötige und und viel mehr vorhanden. Die sehr sympathische und allzeit zuvorkommende Vermieterin ist stets für Fragen erreichbar.
2 Wochen im Cabanon des Ocres sind eindeutig zu wenig; das ist für uns (2 Pärchen mit 3 Kindern) ein Ort, an den man kein Heimweh empfinden kann.

Malgré une météo peu favorable, nous avons passé une semaine, en famille, très agréable pour les vacances de Toussaint. La maison est très confortable, bien aménagée et vaste. Les alentours permettent de belles promenades. A recommander absolument.

The "air conditioning" in the house consists of a system that cools the tile floors.....there is no actual cooling of the air, air movement or removal of humidity as in a more typical system. We were there in mid July, when it was hot, and it was often very warm in the house, particularly at night when we went to bed because we had to keep the windows closed due to mosquitos, and the air circulation in the bedrooms was limited. The house would rate 5 stars except for this issue. The house would benefit from having some fans available in the summer months. The location was great...between Goult and Rousillion, on a quiet road but not far from the main road.

Great location, great property
The house is situated between Roussillon and Goult, with easy access to numerous beautiful villages. The surrounding countryside also makes for scenic walks. One afternoon we even walked to Roussillon and back, including walking the ochre cliffs trail (it was around 7 miles in total). The property itself is large, very private, and well kept. The house is full of windows and glass doors, so there are scenic views all around. Even though it rained for several days of our visit, it was nice to have a pool and outdoor seating areas. There is not a lot of traffic on the street so it is a pretty quiet property (except for the sound of foxes during the night!) If you love nature and beauty and peace, you can't go wrong here. We would definitely return if we ever are able to come back to Provence. Also, the owners are really nice.
