Wonderful cottage, beautiful lakeside location. "Red Camp" is the perfect name given to this property. While it definitely is off the beaten path the lakeside roads to get to it are in incredibly great shape - if only our home city would keep their roads in this condition! It boasts a great dock and wonderful sandy beach front that unfortunately the weather wouldn't allow us to take advantage of. Cottage came with everything we needed, including linens and towels, a rarity for most properties. Wi-Fi was excellent. The best part of the cottage is the enclosed sun room where we spent an inordinate amount of time socializing. A relaxing, peaceful stay and family visit!

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet cottage. Great water access and house just as described. Size worked well for a family of four. Only downside was having to bring more of our own paper products/trash bags than we have been used to at other similar VRBO stays.

Overall memorable and everything worked out The listing should specifically say there are no more than 6 people allowed on the property at any given time due to the septic system. Our kids wanted to invite friends for the day or campfire not necessarily have them sleep over. Chrissy at natural retreats was able to get approval from the owner for 7 people so that are 13 yo could have a friend which helped. She was adamant informing me that if we had more than 7 at any given time which had to be 5 adults and 2 kids (not sure why that mattered) stating that the neighbors watch and that she has had to ask some renters to leave because they didn’t follow the rules. The neighbors were very friendly to us on both sides making conversation etc. Kim was extremely nice and helpful explaining the check in process. The view was incredible. Overall a positive experience. We rented twice last summer and that owner was extremely flexible and accommodating allowing friends to visit for a few hours which was great! Not everyone is as flexible. In the future I will make sure to ask that question if visiting guests are allowed for a few hours etc as the 23 yo kids were a bit disappointed but again it overall worked out.

We enjoyed the space, the outdoors, the lake, basically everything about the property. It’s about 25 minutes to Restaurants and activities not lake related. The shower pressure and temperature of the water were our only issues. Fantastic place to just getaway, make memories, and not be over ran with boots and people.

We were far enough off the main roads to have the privacy we yearned for and close enough to restaurants and stores.
