Located in Wildernest, this attractive house for $879 per night is a great option for your next trip. Huge Mountain Home w/Lake views~ in the Wildernest area, near Keystone 7mi, Breckenridge 10mi. Arapahoe Basin 11 mi and Copper Mtn. 9mi. Side yard sled hill is super fun! Shops and restaurants nearby. In Silverthorne, where we are located, is a Target and Lowes. In nearby Frisco(about 2 miles away) is a Wal Mart & Whole Foods, as well as a Safeway Grocery store. Dillon is also near. *NOTE: Check-In time is 4:00 p.m.(Mountain time), and Check-Out time is at 10:00 a.m. sharp (Mountain time) Escape to our beautiful mountain retreat. Located just a few miles away from Keystone, Copper Mtn., Loveland, A-Basin, and Breckenridge Ski resorts as well as a number of award-winning restaurants. Bring the whole family or have a second honeymoon! Our home will sleep a maximum of 14 people comfortably Whether you are here to spend the day hiking, skiing or just relaxing; begin the day having coffee and watching the sunrise and end each day relaxing in our Hot Tub or custom built steam room. Come make your own family memories in our family home. While you are our guests the home is yours. Please make your self at home and leave the stress of life behind. During the winter, it is imperative that you enter the home thru the Garage door (There is a key pad that you enter in a code to open the door). Please remove ski boots and dust off any ice or snow before entering the home. There are racks in the garage for your shoes, jackets and gear. We are in the Cortina Ridge area of Silverthorne, also called the Wildernest area. Our home is across the street from the entry point for the Mesa Cortina Trail head. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, and we are just a mile away from the small towns of Dillon and Frisco, where there are more places to eat and shop. Silverthorne is also home to many Outlet stores. This is a private neighborhood, so quiet & respectful activities are a must. There is a 4 car parking maximum allowance in the driveway of our home. You may NOT park on the road, nor across the street in the trailhead lot. No Pets allowed & No Smoking allowed. There is a Maximum allowance of 4 cars that can park in the driveway. No cars are allowed to park on the road or across the street. Our goal is to provide a wonderful vacation rental. Please read and adhere to our home policies. Breaking any of these policies is reason for immediate removal with no refund. You must be at least 25 yrs. old to rent, and/or must be accompanied by a parent/guardian the entire stay. No Smoking in the house or garage. No underage drinking, and no drinking in the Hot Tub. There is a 1-car garage, and a driveway for parking. A MAXIMUM of 4 vehicles is allowed on the property at any time. Absolutely no exceptions to this. There is No Parking allowed on the street, nor across the street. No Pets are allowed in our home. If you bring an animal there will be a $500.00 fee plus any damages and cleaning needed. Our home is in a neighborhood community, so be respectful of your neighbors. Please keep noise levels down, and no loud music or activities after 10:00 pm. Linens/towels are provided for the exact number of guests booked, with a maximum of linens for up 18 guests. There are no extra linens available for more than 18 guests. There is a washer & dryer available in our home( Bring your own detergent). There are 6 striped towels provided for Hot Tub use. Also, be aware that each rental only has a small "starter" amount of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, and hand soap. Thank you!

Every toilet had a plunger because it was needed.
Three separate toilets were not usable by the end of the week.

Great view with privacy. It was close to many activities, scenery, and restaurants. It had plenty of room for 12 of us and could have accommodated more.

Amazing location and views….perfect getaway for our family reunion. Lots of different areas to gather and everyone had enough space to spread out. Awesome trailhead right across the street and close to activities, restaurant, shopping. Will return!

I'm really happy with my entire experience with the host and property. The host was extremely reachable and accommodating. Everything in the house is clean and works well. We did have a small issue with the hot tub the first night we were there, I got in touch with Bill, he had someone out there in the morning and it was fixed for the rest of the trip.

Pros: The house was as described and there is plenty of room for the 14 of us staying there. The location was quiet and removed from all the traffic of a busy season, but close enough to town to be convenient. The hot tub is great and the sauna are a welcome gift after a hard day of skiing. The extra refrigerator in the downstairs was very handy. The hosts were easy to reach if we needed anything, and the place was VERY well stocked as far as linens, dishes and such are concerned. If you have a large party wanting to ski, I highly recommend this house.
Cons: The box that opens the garage door did not work with the code we were given. Since shoes are not allowed inside the house, this meant we had to send someone to the kitchen door, have them remove their shoes after unlocking it, carry the shoes across the house and out in to the garage to open the garage door from the inside for the others. It wasn't a terrible inconvenience, but, we paid for the convenience of everything working. Next, the hot tub was surrounded by packed snow and ice which was supposed to have been scooped according to the owner. Once again, this wasn't a terrible inconvenience. Next, they have in floor heat throughout the house which is a great idea, but however it is set, the floors will have warm spots and really cold spots. Bring slippers or heavy socks. The upstairs gas fireplace supplements the floor heating, but does nothing to warm the downstairs which gets mighty cold by morning regardless of where you set the thermostat in the individual rooms. **None of these cons would stop me, or my group, from staying here again.** All in all, we had a great time, the hosts were easy to contact and the place was well stocked.

This home was perfect for our large group of friends and family. The cabin is everything it looks like. Clean and spacious with enough bedrooms for everyone to have some privacy. Perfectly located in the middle of all the fun. Ski mountains in every direction. Owners are super easy to work with. Totally recommend.

Our family, with members from Orange County, Seattle, Denver, and Michigan, were able to get together in this house for a family reunion. The house worked great for this. We had meals together at the long table, played games, hiked on the trail across the road, and had plenty of room for sleeping in family units. It was all great.

There so many things I have to said about this home the location is beautiful the home is beautiful but All the neighbors were watching us all the time, the police fired us for no reason the first day we arrived, because according to many people in the house, we felt watched and we had no In addition, when we arrived there were 2 covered toilets and when we informed the owner he told us that we uncovered them apart from the fact that the owner spoke to me every hour to tell me not to move him at the temperature that we closed the garage door that one thing and another the truth is not we felt confident to enjoy our stay although at first he behaved well at the last he wanted to charge us for extra children 120 if we were only 18 people because the rest were relatives who live there in colorado and they only came to greet us because we are from oklahoma and we paid 4280 dollars for 3 nights including more than 500 dollars for cleaning and insurance And in the contract it said that there could be up to 6 cars in the garage and parking lot and even when we got there he told us that only 4 cars could be there and that is why the neighbors were also upset and it is not our fault that in the contract it said 6 and to I only wanted 4 to get there, we had to go park them in a nearby hotel but in the end, despite everything they tried to ruin our holidays, we tried to have the best possible time if it weren't for so much nuisance they gave us and all the gossiping neighbors. It would be perfect the view is incredible and the house too

This property was all we could have hoped for and more! The views and porch were stunning. Loved the addition of the sauna and hot tub also. Hosts were great and very responsive to and communication we sent. Planning on coming back here in the future!

Great Place and Great Owners
This place was amazing. We had a group of friends that went skiing in Vail, Breckenridge, and Keystone. Vail was 40 min, Breckenridge was 30 min and Keystone was 20 min. This place was bigger than we needed and comfortably fit everyone.
I talked to Bill and he let me know about the area and some of the amenities. Great place and great owners, I would highly recommend!

Family Thanksgiving
Overall our stay was great. My only criticism would be that the heat was not turned on early enough to warm the place up for our arrival. we ate dinner with our coats on, the house did not warm up until the middle of the night. Also cooking Thanksgiving dinner with the right front burner on the stove not working was a bit of a challenge.
The views of the surrounding mountains and the lake were incredible. It was fun watching the traffic snake down the hill from the tunnel and relishing in the fact that we were not in it.

We had an excellent stay. The home easily fit our large extended family. The location is beautiful with mountain and lake views. We enjoyed the hot tub. Hiking was out the front door. This central location was great for easy access to Lake Dillon for a pontoon rental, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Vail for activities. We were especially fond of the precious neighbor dog Josie! What a delight. She was so friendly to our small children. The owner was easy to work with and very accessible. We highly recommend this place for an enjoyable stay in the heart of Colorado mountain country.

A Wonderful Mountain Getaway
Our family of twelve enjoyed time together at Mount Haven, a beautiful home with all the amenities anyone could ever need. It was spacious and easily accommodated all of our family from teenagers, who enjoyed the loft area, to adults who enjoyed the views and natural beauty of the area. Centrally located to a variety of activities from skiing/snowboarding, hiking, biking, shopping, great local restaurants just to name a few. A great location to explore and enjoy the Summit Valley and surrounding mountains. Susan and Bill have a wonderful home and are the most considerate host. We highly recommend Mount Haven for a great getaway for anyone. If you get up early enough you might even see a few moose in the yard!

One Word: AMAZING!!
I loved the view from the den overlooking the lake and the mountains. It was breathtaking. Sitting in the hot tube at the end of a long day outside exploring was very relaxing. The house was roomy and so comfortable, even for a big group.
The hiking trails behind the house led to a beautiful scene like something out of a painting with the snow and aspen trees at sunset. There are great bike trails that connect Dillon, Frisco, and Keystone. We went on a 20 mile ride one afternoon, going all the way around the lake and over Swan Mountain.
There are so many good things about staying here. The towns nearby offer some really fun activities and great restaurants. It's only a short drive from several ski spots including A-Basin, Keystone, and Breck. I really cannot wait to go back!

Spectacular Views in CO
We loved our recent stay here with friends. The cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Bill and Susan were easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The house is in close proximity to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, skiing and more! From starting the days with a beautiful sunrise views to ending the nights relaxing in the hot tub, we will definitely book again!

Fantastic Stay at Incredible Home
We had a most excellent adventure at this huge mountain home in Silverthorne. Bill and Susan are incredible hosts who made every moment of our stay a joy. The house is clean, comfortable and well-stocked with all the details that make it feel homey. Its proximity to all things Rocky Mountains made it easy to be adventurous. It affords simple to access anything you require within five minutes (from Lowe's to Target to quaint coffee shops) from the mountaintop overlook of Dillon Lake backdropped by the Rockies. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! Multiple bedrooms and a uniquely designed setup made our large group times meaningful and our alone times quiet. I can't wait until the next time!!

Terrific Home and View; Keystone was Great Too!
House is situated by a national forest and it has breathtaking views. Very beautiful home that is modernized with heated floors, heated pads to hot tub, usb plugs on lamps etc and an awesome steam room to deal with dry air. I loved this place and will definitely book it again !!!

The house was impeccable and the owner was always available thru texting. Great home for large families. End of the day we relaxed in the jacuzzi overlooking the city lights. I would definetly recommend to anyone and I will certainly be a returner. I don’t have enough words to express our awsome experience, other than I rarely comment about any place I visit unless it’s really deserved.

Bill and Susan's Mountain Haven was just heavenly! By far the nicest home I've stayed anywhere. The garage was very spacious and perfect after a day on the slopes to hang your skis and boards. Once you walk in the house, you'll immediately notice the warm floors. We respected the owners request to remove our shoes upon entering but we always remove our shoes at home so nothing new for us.
When you walk in the great room, the view is amazing! It reminded me of staying at the Canyons Resort in Utah. Highly recommend sitting out on the deck for the sunset and sunrise.
We stayed in the master bedroom and it was very spacious with plenty of room. The bed was nice and firm. The master bath had heated toilet seat! My extended family had nothing but good to say about their bedrooms/bathrooms.
The kitchen was very spacious and had all the necessities to cook a meal. We took advantage of this along with the really long dining table that seated all of us with no issue.
We spent our 4 days here skiing at Breckenridge and Keystone resort. The drive was only 20-25 minutes.
Highly recommend this house to anyone looking to book a home near the slopes!

Best View in Colorado
This is the 8th house we've rented in this area over the past 15 yrs, and is by far the nicest. It has a level driveway and is great on snowy days. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. After a long day skiing, we loved having the option to either sit in the hot tub or enjoy the sauna. The evening view overlooking Lake Dillon, the town, and Keystone is incredible!

I can not say enough about this home. From the picture perfect views to the proximity of skiing and activities, I fell in love from the first moment I saw it! Waking up to those glorious mountains and just the simplicity of having coffee in that beautiful kitchen, I would recommend this home to any and everyone! One of the defining moments for me was the steam room! I had been really congested and the steam room did wonders for my congestion, sinuses and altitude adjustment! Soooo many hidden treasures in this home! Heated floors, humidifiers for the bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen! Thank you to the home owners for the most amazing week ever! I’m counting down the days until I’m back!
