Located in Lake Tabourie, this lovely house for $173 per night is a great option for your next trip. Enjoy stunning views across Lake Tabourie from this classic 50's Beach House with loads of character. It sleeps 8 in 3 double rooms and 1 twin room. The house is located right on the lake, so you can fish, swim or canoe from the front door. The pristine, white sand beach is an easy 8 minute walk along the lake's edge on a bush track. The South Beach (extending to Meroo) is renowned for surfing, while the north beach (extending to Wairo) tends to be calmer and good for swimming. Crampton Island separates the 2 beaches and can be accessed at low tide by a sand bar. It's great for fishing and exploring rock pools. The house consists of: 2 bedrooms with double beds 1 bedroom with queen bed in separate detached studio 1 twin room (small) with an extra trundle bed 2 bathrooms (one in studio) Well equipped kitchen with extendable dining table that seats 8 Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer Lounge room Long front deck with fold out chairs Covered front porch with BBQ TV – blu-ray/dvd player with USB port High Chair Pillows, blankets, doonas included (linen not included) Pets allowed - secure fenced back yard suitable for small dogs (fence minimum height 90cm) No smoking Location and local area Lake Tabourie is located 10 minutes south of Ulladulla, about 3 hours drive from Sydney's southern suburbs and 2.5 hours from Canberra. In walking distance, the local "Tabourie Tuckerbox" offers essential grocery items, newspapers, good takeaway food and a bottle shop. Ulladulla has a cinema, Coles (open until midnight), Woolworths, Aldi and other shopping. Just 5 minutes further north is the historic township of Milton with antique and specialty shops and great cafes. Canoes can be hired from Tabourie Caravan Park across the lake. 5 minutes drive north is Burrill Lake with mini golf, tennis court hire and great fish and chips. Iconic Pigeon House Mountain is a short drive through forest roads for a family day walk. Extras Optional cleaning available $80 per stay

We have stayed a handful of times at this place. We always have a relaxing time on the lake. The home is in the most perfect spot with very pleasant and friendly neighbours.

We had a long weekend with relatives visiting from Germany. The view from the deck is magical and the short walk to the beach lovely. Proximity to Meroo NP a plus. The beach house is old but clearly lovingly maintained and has everything you need. Our dog enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the local dogs and their owners go by. My arms got a bit sore from rowing the boat on the lake while the kids captained but couldn’t have asked for a nicer weekend.

We had a lovely time in Judy's home at Tabourie. The house had everything we needed and more. It reminded me of beach holidays from my own childhood - idyllic and wonderful. My teenage children loved being free to roam. WiFi would be a nice addition, but that's all that I would change.

Amazing location for family trip
We had a fabulous holiday at this property. Right from the front door we were able to fish or jump into the lake, either in swimmers or in our kayaks. The beach/lakes entrance is a very special place, and we felt the house had one of the best locations possible in Lake Tabourie.
Our family of 4 plus two grandparents had plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of utensils and cooking items, we mostly ate at the house and the extra large table in the eat in kitchen was great. Overhead fans in the bedrooms were a plus.
The granny flat bedroom and ensuite were nicely finished and had practical touches like extra hooks.
We stayed during a wet summer week and it would have been nice to have had the back verandah covered. The steps to the main house are quite steep and are not protected from the weather.
The only reason we marked down cleaning is although all of the key surfaces and areas were immaculate (bathrooms, benchtops, floors), major cleaning of things like down the sides of the kids beds and window sills was due.
We also appreciated the extra information Judy provided on the house and activities once booked.
If you are wanting an idea of the feel of the property, it feels like a friend has lent you the keys to an old school family beach shack.

This house has everything you could need for a comfortable stay but the best part is the location - uninterrupted views across Lake Tabourie. No photos could do it justice. We stayed in winter so it was relatively quiet but was the perfect location for some much needed time to recharge the batteries. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Lake Tabourie
Beautiful older style lakeside cottage in a lovely location. Exactly as described in the ad. The host was super helpful, the instructions were very clear. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous and Picturesque Location and Vintage Cottage Make for a Great Holiday
We had a fabulous stay at this wonderful heritage cottage. Its location right on the picturesque Lake Tabourie meant we were spoiled for views, with easy access to the beach along a shady track and no roads to cross. We took advantage of the beach, as well as kayaking from just along the path, and Milton's food and restaurants are a treat.
The house itself is quaint and relaxed with ample room indoor and out to relax and not be in each other's way. The setting is peaceful and the house has all you need to eat in also with a well equipped kitchen. The rooms and beds are comfortable too allowing you to have a great rest before heading to the beach again. Very good communication and instructions from the owner Judy made everything easy for us and we will be back; thank you for sharing this lovely spot with us.

A great house to enjoy all that Lake Tabourie has to offer. Great spot for the family (including our fur baby) to swim, kayak and fish. A truly relaxing place to stay.

Fabulous location
Well kept house in great spot on the lake. A pity when we stayed there were no fish - not even tiddlers. Loved the relax and peaceful surroundings.
