Located in Sanibel Island, this lovely condo for $270 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Update following Hurricane Ian: We are so very happy to welcome you back to Loggerhead Cay. This condo was completely rebuilt after the storm and all items & amenities INSIDE the unit are all new and it is ready for rentals. Please note: OUTSIDE construction to the Loggerhead Cay complex and other condo units is still ongoing. On-site construction & work delays MAY be possible and are out of our control. Certain building amenities such as the elevators, tennis and more may not be functioning properly, timelines on some of these items is still unknown. There may also be noise associated with on-going construction. Working hours will typically be between 8am – 4pm during the weekdays. Come check out this completely rebuilt and freshly furnished 2 bedroom beauty, Loggerhead Cay #403, located within just a few steps to the sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico! One step through the door you'll be in beachside heaven! This unique top floor, corner end unit boasts vaulted, beamed ceilings and tons of natural light! Recently rebuilt with all wood flooring, bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms, and furnished to perfection with a calming beach style twist. Location can't be beat with easy access on and off island great for avoiding in-season traffic and even better for being close to the miles of island wide bike paths close to many shopping, restaurants, and public beaches! Don't miss your little slice of Sanibel paradise! Condo amenities include: 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -- 1 King bed, 2 twin beds, and a pull-out sleeper sofa (sleeps 6), Smart TVs (streaming only), WIFI available, fully equipped kitchen, heated shared pool, in suite washer & dryer, public BBQ gas grills, shuffleboard, community tennis courts, elevator access. Bed linens and bath towels included. No Pets allowed. This unit comes stocked with beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. 7 night minimum rental period is required. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 6 people. Overall this was a great place to stay. The only issue we had was our dishwasher was broken and they were waiting for a new one. Unfortunately it never arrived the week we were there. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t any condiments and water stocked in the fridge. I am used to staying at Airbnb’s where that’s provided for you. Everything was clean the place was nice and the people were friendly.

Our condo at Loggerhead is an excellent unit for a couple or small family. The condo was well equipped and in a great location as an end unit with no one above us. Nicely furnished with all we needed for an enjoyable vacation.

We have rented this unit before, so you know it is okay. However, as we age we find all the beds could use better mattresses and all the covers could be cleaner (not the sheets), the duvet covers and quilts. There is no way for us to wash them in the tiny but otherwise adequate washer/dryer. Also, we could use one comfortable chair with leg lift for our disabled person. We use folding chairs to supplement. Kitchen needs better knives and small wine glasses. TY is barely adequate. Our kids units had better equipment.

Fantastic experience
We were on a flight to Miami and found out our cruise was canceled. We scrambled to find a rental car and checked Vrbo for a beachfront propitious ensure our vacation wasn’t ruined. We have never been to Sanibel and the condo and location gave us an experience much better than we could of expected. Sanibel is so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The shells found on the beach were unbelievable. The condo was clean, up to date, equipped with everything we could ever imagine. Absolutely wonderful experience. Not a single complaint.

This was a fantastic location for our family. Everything was beautiful, extremely clean and very welcoming. It was very relaxing sitting on the lenai. All of the amenities were perfect and we would highly recommend this unit for the location and being "current" and not outdated. We loved the seaside decor!

winter getaway
Sanibel is great anytime of year..We have visited many times since 1980. Loggerhead Cay is the only place we have ever stayed and in many different units. although an older complex it is very well maintained and clean.

My only concern would be for the building, not our condo specifically - when it rains, it gets VERY slick in the corridors. We had 3 different instances of people in our family of 4 falling because it was so slick. Be careful!

The twins mattresses need an update, not comfortable. The sofa bed was more comfortable than the beds. We were disappointed with the sheet sets in the master bedroom and had to was ALL of the 3 cotton blankets; they were poorly folded and looked used, not packaged nor did they smell washed/clean. The king sheets were worn and torn. This year, due to COVID19, more than any other year should have been a high priority for guests staying at the property. The kitchen cabinets were messy, nothing made sense as to where items were stored.

The unit was recently renovated and in great condition. The grounds and pool are immaculately maintained. Pool temperature was ideal. This unit worked OK for six people (three generations), but was a little cozy at times. For four people it would be ideal.

We are pretty particular about the quality of rentals we choose. 403 met all expectations. It was a nice community with beautiful pool, easy direct beach access, tennis courts and WORKING grills! SBL delivered brand new bikes right to our door and offered easy check in and check out. Very happy with this rental.

Our rental experience was easy, quick and convenient. We reserved this unit on-line which was very convenient. I choose this unit because of the way it was decorated. We usually prefer a ocean front unit, but because of the way it was decorated we decided to rent this unit. When we arrived on Sanibel Island we went to the property management office to pick up the key and other rental information. At that time, we were able to rent bikes for the week. The bikes were delivered to our unit which was extremely convenient. On our second day, I noticed the unit did not have a hair dryer (the unit was supposed to have one). I called the property management company and they delivered one to me within 15 minutes. WOW now that is service. The only item that was a bit inconvenient was the fact that the condo below us was getting work done in it and there was a lot of hammering and banging. We loved Sanibel Island the fact that we could ride our bikes everywhere, which we did!!

The living area is comfortable for everyone in our group and the Master bedroom was large and comfortable; the second bedroom was warm and could use an overhead fan to circulate the cool air.
