Staff very helpful and great location for an event I was attending .
Unfortunately toom wasn't very appealing carpet and walls could do with a bit of attention.

The room was clean and the bedding crisp and fresh. Bath towels were fluffy, large and lovely. The room was bright and airy. It was peaceful and we liked using the bar before going to bed,
We didn’t like the very large cups for tea/coffee…smaller ones would work better, especially for the coffee machine. The general stairway carpeting to the first floor could have been cleaner and more inviting generally. We didn’t have the continental breakfast as it didn’t look like good value for the £12.00 per person it would have cost. It would have been nice to be able to open the window and get dome fresh air in, but they were covered with insulation material.

Comfortable beds, beautifully thick towels. Espresso machine and tea in the room is a really nice touch for a pub.
The breakfast is very basic, only white bread, jams and honey that weren’t replenished. Yoghurt and uncut fruit.
