Situated in Cedar Creek Reservoir, this attractive house for $750 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. We paid special attention to making our gorgeous 4,000 square foot lakefront home the perfect vacation rental for families with children of all ages, as well as for large groups. This property is 1 of 4 houses in a cul-de-sac, so there is very little traffic. It's perfectly safe for your kids to ride their bikes, skateboards, or play catch in front of the house. Our beds are super comfortable, and all rooms are clutter-free, and decorated to encourage relaxation and lake life! The master bedroom, with its king bed, is on the bottom floor, and has a very spacious bathroom. Also downstairs is a queen room that has easy access to the hallway bathroom with a spacious shower. In the living room, you will find a wet bar so that you can freshen up your drink and not miss a minute of whatever is showing on the big screen tv. Still, there is plenty of room for the kids to play board games in front of a roaring fire. The fireplace opens to the kitchen on the other side, where a large island provides seating for 4, next to the bar height table that seats an additional 4. The formal dining room off the kitchen seats 6 comfortably. One of the queen rooms upstairs has its own full bathroom, with a tub/shower combo. On the other end of the floor, you will find a beautiful queen room that shares a Jack and Jill style bathroom with the double-twin room. Kids of all ages will enjoy the bunk room with its 2 twin over full bunks, a tv and ottoman seating. Your kids can bring their game systems to hook up, but encourage them to get outside, play our outdoor games and enjoy the lake! Throw some steaks on the propane grill and enjoy your dinner on the deck , or enjoy a more intimate meal on the dock! Our screened in patio offers comfortable sectional seating, with a view of the fire pit and back yard area, so you can enjoy watching other members of your group make S’mores over the fire, play cornhole or Yardzee. So that you may take full advantage of being on the lake, our dock is a perfect place for your boat and jet skis. We also have a paddle boat available for your use, and a cove area that is a safe place for younger children to swim. Yard games are provided as well. We have done our best to make this house the perfect home away from home, and we are anxious to share it with you! We had a fantastic time at the vacation rental. The house was extremely clean, and large enough to host 4 families with children between the ages of 13-2. The kids spent all day in the lake so it was nice being in the quiet cove with no other boat traffic. There are a lot of games in the house that we weren't expecting, which is always a nice surprise, and a large table that was great for entertaining. Water level was a bit low so we had to be extremely careful using the boat house, but other than than, everything was pretty much perfect! I would highly recommend the house to everyone!

They property was great & we had a really nice time. The only down side was the lake was really low. I wish we had known that going in. We were still able to enjoy the water, but that was a drawback.

We spent a long weekend at this house, and really enjoyed our time. We made all meals at the house & had everything we needed. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were great, and we enjoyed spending time outside too. Would highly recommend this property!

The house is great with plenty of room for all 16 of us. Very clean. We caught over 40 total fish off the dock. Had about 8 catfish keepers. Kids caught perch also with worms. Caught 3 catfish heading out of cove toward main body of water with all over 3 lbs.

We were in town for a wedding at Sunrise Point and this was the perfect house for a large group. The 4 full bathrooms, the deck and seating on the dock were perfect for hanging out in between wedding events. Also the parking situation was perfect for several cars.

Our host was very responsive and even brought items over within minutes when needed (wine opener and cot). The house was perfectly suited for families, nice yard and deck. Most of our time was spent on the two patios and in the kitchen area. Will definitely recommend for future families.

This property was very impressive. It was even better than we expected. The view of the lake is beautiful. We ate out, cooked in the well stocked kitchen, used the grill, played golf nearby, enjoyed the back deck and yard, and slept great! Highly recommend this property and owner.

It was home away from home. It has everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. The home was very spacious. The (garage) game room was great for the kids. There was no WiFi when we were there, but it was communicated a few days before. Great communication!! Cellphone signals were in and out depending on where you were in the home. That turned out to be a good thing for everyone to enjoy family time instead of being on electronic devices. The kids especially enjoyed the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center nearby (in Athens). Overall, our whole family enjoyed the stay.

Our family of 12 had a great time at this beautiful house. The owner was responsive and quickly answered our questions. We caught fish from the dock and enjoyed the paddle boat and fire pit. We grilled and enjoyed meals cooked in the large, well-stocked kitchen. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and yard games. The neighborhood is very quiet and the lake area was so relaxing.

My wife and I came down from Nebraska and stayed at this property for a couple weeks at the end of January. Cant say enough positive things about our experience! Very clean, spacious, well equipped, great neighborhood, beautiful home! I brought my bass boat down and was able to keep it in the dock and up on the boat lift. The bass fishing was good in the immediate area. My wife enjoyed daily exercise at a nearby gym in Malakoff. Very, very pleasant experience and highly deserving of its unanimous 5-star rating. Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer!

Loved the place. Great location (nearby grocery store for our multiple visits) but felt remote and not busy. House was terrific, exactly as offered. Wonderful kitchen and well stocked with dishware, cooking gear etc... Which is good, because there are not a lot of great restaurants nearby. We do highly recommend Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant which is not far at all. Highly recommend stay for a family get together.

I was excited the minute I stepped inside this beautiful home. I loved the spacious rooms and the decor. There is a nice back porch, screened porch and a generous fenced backyard. It is always a bonus to have a boathouse and dock right off the back. The manager was always quick with responses to my questions. In summary, we loved this place and the lake and would highly recommend it.
