Summary: Sky View House is in an elevated position adjacent The Bluff at Encounter Bay and boasts uninterrupted views of the ocean. Panoramic windows take in dramatic scenes of waves crashing over Wright Island and The Bluff and turbulent ocean as far as the eye can see. Enjoy an easy weekend away with your family and friends or partner with another family to halve the cost and double the fun. While only a 50 minute drive from Adelaide you will enjoy the complete relaxation of being away on holiday. The Space: Lose yourself having long lunches and wine tasting in McLarenVale, delight the children with the carnival at the Victor Harbor waterfront. Explore Granite Island and the 30 km of waterfront trails. Enjoy cafes or hire bicycles, shop in Port Elliot and explore the local art galleries at Goolwa. Whatever pace, time frame or budget a weekend or even long weekend the south coast always does the trick. Set over two levels the home can easily accommodate two families. With five bedrooms and two bathrooms & 3 showers & 3 toilets the home can accommodate as many as 12. The third shower is not a complete bathroom. Upstairs presents a large open plan living/dining with wood burning fireplace and HD flat screen TV. Downstairs features large lounge, second flat screen TV and DVDs. The beautiful lower level deck also includes ocean views, marquee umbrella and Gas Heater. There is also two BBQ's located on the lower level. This area is also serviced by lush green gardens and lawn. The property backs onto a private grassy park and enjoys a 2 minute walk directly to the esplanade. No Pets No Wi-Fi No Linen No Smoking No parties or events Garage is not included. Bedding Configuration: Bedroom 1: 1 x King Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen Bedroom 3: 1 x Queen Bedroom 4: 1 x Tri-bunk(double on bottom, single on top) Bedroom 5: 2 x Single Bunks ** Please note this property does not include linen; however linen hire can be arranged by local company Victor Linen. Quilts with covers & pillows provided. Guests to bring or hire Sheets, Pillow cases, Towels & Tea Towels. ** This property accommodates a maximum of 12 people (Including Adults and Children 2-12 years). Great location and view of encounter bay. Great walk for the tweens to the Esplanade. They loved the pool and poker table downstairs and the presentation of the bedrooms was excellent. Lots of extra equipment for cooking in kitchen that we were not expecting. Definitely think of staying again sometime.

Cleanliness of the property disappointing. Previous occupants clothing found behind beds.
Bathrooms needed a more thorough clean,
suggest renovations. Third bathroom facility completely laughable. Shower reminiscent of Harry Potter …. under the stairs!
BUT - we as a family had a wonderful holiday in the house.

There was no mention of using the wood fire inside so communication about that would have been good and maybe some wood left to use one of the nights.

House is great - fabulous views and location and very clean. Stayz is extremely hard to book with though as the link kept expiring and it took three seperate bookings over a two week period to actually have it booked. Photos need updating as well. Unfortunately this stay was let down by the stains already pre-existing in the carpet, the ripped pool table and the poker table with a busted foot bar that wasn't screwed in. Ontop of that there were doors that wouldn't get stay locked and doors that wouldn't close.

Book this house about 6 months ago and everone loved it and there was plenty of beds to sleep in and ample toilets and showers ''but hot water runs out''

Omg it was simply amazing. The views were to die for. The property was amazing. Beds were super comfy. Would definitely recommend staying here. I will be back fir sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rumbelow Street. The views are exceptional, the house is 'as described' and very comfortable for multiple families.
We felt the list of instructions on arrival and departure were a bit overwhelming, and with kids staying as part of our group it was stressful at times worrying we might miss one of the many 'to do' jobs when we left at the end of our stay. We were very disappointed that both gas bottles were left empty, and as we arrived later in the day on our arrival we were unable to get them filled, which completely changed our plans for dinner that night.
The downstairs DVD player also wasn't able to be connected for the kids for the 'movie night' we had planned for them.
Overall, it is a lovely property - just be aware of the expectations that come with it.

House was lovely enough with a gorgeous view but my family didn’t have any storage in the kitchen for our needs . Pantry was locked.
We had young children so yards wasn’t secured for them.
Seemed like a party house where hens night and bucks show were used there often.
The house did have a beautiful view but just lacked certain things our lamps in main bedrooms weren’t working .
No wifi access
Having to bring our own tea towels, towels and linen .
With the price you just expect it to be a bit more luxurious.
But overall a lovely stay with family from interstate .

Luxury and comfort
What a beautiful place for a getaway with friends and/or family. The house was in a stunning location, was very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and was very comfortable. We had a girls' weekend there and had taken food down for the Friday evening and planned to go out for dinner on the Saturday. But the view from the main living area was so stunning that we decided to eat in instead! Highly recommended.

Awesome views!
11 of us stayed at this property for a Hen's Weekend. Accommodation was comfortable and generally clean and well maintained. The views were spectacular however would have been even more so if the windows had had a bit of a clean (tracks were in desperate need of a thorough clean). We struggled with where to put rubbish as could not locate any bin bags. Cutlery was pretty dirty and needed a good clean prior to use. We also ran out of hot water after only a couple of short showers in the morning and use of the dishwasher - had to wait until the morning for it to heat up again which is not great considering the property advertises as catering for up to 14 people. Certainly couldn't beat the location, living spaces, comfort and layout but for the cost, a few minor issues would need to be rectified before we'd return. We did however very much enjoy our stay and thank you!

Amazing house
Amazing property and so much room even with 10 adults and 4 babies....we had everything we needed.....we had a great time and victor harbor is a beautiful place. Agents were fantastic too. Highly recommend them.

We stayed here with 4 families with young children. Was a perfect set up for us with 5 bedrooms and 2 living areas. House was very well equipped and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all our meals. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing place
I had a couple of days away with a group of women and this place was amazing. Stunning views, large area to meet together but also many other spaces for quieter times. Beautifully furnished. A quite exceptional property.

Beautiful views!
Heaps of space, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with good appliances! We loved the space in this house after staying with 6 adults and 6 children (aged between 9 and 9 months). Access to the garage was appreciated. There's a door at the top of the stairs which is fabulous for crawlers and small kids. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only requirement is a bigger bin, oven needs a big clean, and a new vacuum cleaner. Otherwise it was a wonderful place to relax!

Tranquil setting with breathtaking views
Absolutely loved our stay here. Took my daughters and their friends away and this was the perfect location. Close to everything yet peaceful enough for me to recharge my batteries while they were downstairs in their area.

Lovely Holiday House
We loved our 2 nights at Sky view House. Accommodation was very clean, very spacious house which suited our large Family Group.
Wood fire was greatly appreciated with cold weather - but you must bring your own wood.

Stunning House with stunning views
We booked this home due to its sea views and the styling shown on the website. We were not disappointed. The house was clean, spacious and had quality fixtures and fittings. The beds were big and comfortable, and the owners had even left us plenty of wood for the fire. We have already planned to come back next year!
