Great decor, very friendly staff - Ivan's wine recommendations at dinner were exceptional. They made our honeymoon very special!
You have to give 15 minutes warning for the spa which wasn't clearly signed until you got there and we weren't able to use it as a result as we didn't have time

The views were lovely, and the peaceful, tranquil setting makes it a good place to switch off and relax. The hotel is stylish, and the beds were comfortable. Some of the staff were particularly helpful, especially Bogdan, who was patient and understanding of our dietary requirements.
While the hotel is undeniably stylish, at times it felt as though the design had been prioritised over practicality. The rooms could be more guest-focused in terms of functionality. The beds were quite difficult to get into, the shower pressure was fairly weak and fluctuated during use, and the lighting made the room feel very dark. The placement of the lamps wasn’t particularly practical, and the upper bunk lacked a bedside light, making it feel more like a loft space than a comfortable sleeping area. We also noticed that the beams in the upper area were quite dusty, giving the impression that this part of the room hadn’t been thoroughly prepared for guests.
Some of the information provided by the hotel was also a little misleading. The trips advertised on the website and in the room appeared to suggest they could be arranged by the hotel, but in reality they were simply recommendations of activities in the local area. Similarly, the advertised 24-hour laundry service was unavailable because it was outsourced and the provider did not have sufficient staff to return items within that timeframe. To the hotel’s credit, this information was updated after we raised the issue.
There were also a few lapses in attention to detail. My bed had not been made up on arrival, so I had to ask for this to be done. At the pool, there were no towels available for the sun loungers, and we had to request more. While some members of staff were excellent—particularly Bogdan, who was patient, understanding and very helpful with our dietary requirements—service was inconsistent overall, and staff could have been more attentive and proactive.
The restaurant menu was also quite limited. The appetisers were heavily centred around prosciutto, while the main courses focused largely on steak. A wider variety of dishes, particularly more vegetable-based sides and lighter options, would make the dining experience more appealing for a broader range of guests.
