About this house rental
Located in Cape Coral, this attractive house for $248 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. “Villa Alica” is built in 2017. The house has a total living area of 2,680 ft² and is located in a quiet residential area but nevertheless central in the heart of SW Cape Coral on a 10,000 ft² lot. The exact address is 4540 SW 17th Ave. Cape Coral. The house is very modern furnished and has all amenities you need! There are tiles all over the house. The pool with its size of 34 x 15 feet has a beach zone with a fountain and is electrically heatable, same as the close-by spa with its air-blowers, water jets and its hot-tub function. Both units are equipped with underwater spots. The spacious patio with its western exposure offers lots of space, 6 sun loungers for sun-worshipper as well as a lounge corner, an outdoor kitchen with bar, built in “Napoleon” Barbeque-Grill, fume hood, fridge and sink. At the canal with gulf access you find a huge boat dock with a Tiki Hut and Kayak dock. If you´re thinking of renting a boat: There are many boat rental companies in Cape Coral where you can rent a huge variety of boats. You can moore your rented boat at our boatdock at "Villa Alica" for free. On request most boat rental companies deliver the boat to your vacation home. Since "Villa Alica" is located at a saltwater canal you can take your boat directly from the boat dock to the open sea (Gulf of Mexico). The house has 4 bedrooms (three with a kingsize bed and one with two twin beds), an office with sleeper couch (serving as bed no. 9 and 10. The 11th bed is the sleeper-sofa in the master besdroom) and 3 baths . The fully equipped kitchen contains microwave oven, dish washer, fridge with icemaker and -crusher, range with ceran plates and oven, etc. and ample dishes, glassware, and cutlery. In the three-car garage you will find bikes, fishing poles and a kayak to use for free. We also offer High Speed Internet (WiFi), free phone calls, books, DVD`s. The next shops (Publix) and restaurants are only 500 yards away. The nearest beach, Cape Coral Beach, is a 5 minute drive away. You reach the extensive sandy beaches of Sanibel and Captiva after about 20 miles. Please read our booking conditions prior to your booking!

This is a modern, clean and generously sized property on a canal with a beautiful pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, the pool heater was not able to keep the pool warm enough during our stay to really be able to use it. The home is generously equipped with beach, kitchen and pool accessories! The location is very quiet and close to grocery stores and some restaurants (don't miss the Italian bakery nearby). However, it felt like a 20-30 minute drive to beaches and other sites we wanted to see. The Property manager was excellent! The property instructions were very intimidating and host contacts were cordial at best.

Villa Alica is a beautiful home in a great location!! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to prepare dinners at home and the home is just so modern but so cozy at the same time. The kids loved the heated pool and spa and the adults loved just hanging out in the lanai. The canal was beautiful with our friendly little duck visitors daily. There are beach toys, fishing gear, and bicycles for your use. The kids and adults loved it and so will you!!

The layout of this home is perfect! It had everything we needed. The property manager was extremely responsive for any questions we had. The pool/spa were a bit chilly and she resolved it pretty quickly. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to book here again. Thank you to the owners for making this beautiful home available.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Alicia. The house is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need. Very close to local shops, bars , restaurants. Great location for a family stay. We didn’t want to leave.

The pictures of this home do not do it justice. It was beautiful and comfortable for our group of 10. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Host and/or property manager were available to answer any questions. Dock was perfect for mooring our boat with boat ramp only a couple of miles away. There are a couple of things to be aware of though:
1. It takes about an hour to get from the dock to the boat ramp/sound through the canals (be sure to use GPS!)
2. There is a city ordinance that prohibits parking your boat or trailer in the driveway.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful, clean, and spacious home.

Our group of 11 had a great stay at Villa Alica. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Pool and outdoor kitchen were a huge plus over other places in Florida that we have stayed. We enjoyed the kayak and had rented another double and single for our group to use. Took a while but we were able to catch a lone fish too!

Absolutely beautiful home! We decided to have a family vacation away from the chilly Wisconsin weather and we were absolutely blown away! The house has everything and more that you could ask for. The owners and manager of the property were easily reached if we had questions. We will be back year after year!

We had our family of five along with friends and their two kids. So much space for our families to all have beds/bathrooms. We loved the pool area and using the kayak to check out the canal. I'm a huge fan of happy hour at the tiki bar as well :) Anja was great to work with, answered texts right away. Highly recommend this property!

We dined at Rumrunners by boat and another time at Cape Harbour Oyster Bar. On Tuesday and Friday nights there is live outdoor music at Cape Harbour which was a great atmosphere and very popular.

We stay in this area every year for a break from the cold MN winters. This place was our favorite by far! It had all the amenities you could possibly need. It was especially nice that they had everything you would need traveling with children. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, my kids swam for hours! Just note that you do have to pay extra for electricity for heating the pool and hot tub. The area was very nice, we enjoyed walking everyday and that Lobster Lady was within walking distance. Anja was extremely sweet and made checking in and out easy. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again next year!

Beautiful large home on the canal. Quiet area yet close to shops. Loved the design of the pool with the raised sunning deck, our grandchildren loved playing there!

Traveled with 6 adults and 2 kids. House was ideal as it essentially has 3 wings. The property has good seating in the living room, the dining room and on the patio. The owners and the manager were very easy to work with. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Markus and Sonja were great hosts to communicate with leading up to our stay at the Villa Alica. She made sure we had a pack and play for our 1 yr old and was flexible with checkout. The house was everything the pictures showed and more. Plenty of space for the 6 adults and 2 kids we had with us. The lanai area is where we spent basically all of our time and we spent much more time in the hot tub than anticipated as it was so nice. We really appreciated all of the toys and activities we found throughout the house to entertain our 4 year old.
Unfortunately, we were staying in this house when Cape Coral was hit with Hurricane Ian and there was a mandatory evacuation of the area by state and local authorities. While we couldn't enjoy our full stay, we did enjoy the few days we had in the sun leading up to the storm. After returning home safely, Markus and Sonja worked with us to recoup some of the money we paid since we lost out on half of our stay. Hurricane Ian decimated SW Florida and we are so glad that Villa Alica mostly came out on the better end of the damages. We hope to come back to Cape Coral and Villa Alica when ready to host again.

The house was everything we could've dreamed of and more. Incredibly spacious and comfortable. the kitchen was very well equipped so we could make family meals with no problem. The pool and patio/BBQ area were perfect when returning after a day at the beach. And communication with our property manager was great. We will definitely come back! Thank you to our hosts!
