Staff molto accogliente, disponibile e gentile. Ottima colazione abbondante e varia, anche con frutta fresca. Ottima posizione vicina alla spiaggia, a vari negozi e al centro del paese. Stanze molto semplici, dotate solo di saponetta e asciugamano, ma pulite. Fuori dalla guest house presenza di vari taxi e locali dove poter mangiare.
In camera non c'era l'aria condizionata e con il ventilatore acceso faceva molto caldo. Il mattino presto dalle 7 si sentivano i rumori dei bambini che giocavano nel giardino centrale interno.

100 раз подумайте прежде чем остановиться здесь. Максимум - 1-2 ночи. Ощущение, что владельцы полностью забили на это место и оно выживет само по себе. Душ отваливается, матрасы рваные, подушки пахнут пОтом предыдущих постояльцев. Кондиционера нет, а вентиляторы крутят еле-еле, из-за чего в комнате ужасная духота. Если открываешь двери, тут же заползают и залетают всякие насекомые, которых даже с закрытой дверью полно. Муравьи разных размеров ползают по всему полу, пауки в ванной. Сетка надо кроватью не спасает от комаров, которые залетают через дырки в сетке на окне (стекол нет). Завтраки очень скудные-немного фруктов, чай, и что-то жареное, иногда просто гренки, иногда везёт и дают яичницу. Уборку за 6 дней не делали ни разу, полотенца тоже не меняли. И не нужно оправдывать ценой все недостатки. Никто не просит белые тапочки и бассейн, но элементарная забота о гостях быть должна. Не так тяжело убраться раз в 3 дня, сделать душ для смыва песка на улице, увеличить напряжение до 220, чтобы вентилятор нормально работал, дотянуть вай-фай до номеров. Да элементарно прикрутить отвалившийся душ в ванной комнате- не займет много усилий, если вы хотите быть гостеприимными хозяевами.

Ideal location. Hardly 300 mtrs from the Nungwi Beach. Staff was very helpful. Breakfasts were healthy and filling. Room was clean and sufficient.

Péssimo em termos de limpeza, acomodações muito más, praticamente sem água para os banhos, pequeno almoço muito fraco.

A entrada do alojamento cheia de lama e buracos. Sem pressão de água para banhos, sem ar condicionado e sem vidros nas janelas o que facilita a entrada de insetos. Sem a possibilidade de ter acesso a um frigorífico para uso esporádico.
Apesar da presença dos Massai não há ninguém para ajudar em algum assunto.
As janelas sem vidros e com uma cortina minúscula impossibilita a privacidade dos quartos.

Das Frühstück war 10/10 super lecker einfach Unfassbar. Der Koch ist Sterne Koch meine Meinung nach. Der Koch geht wünsche ein wenn du ihn da drauf anspricht und das finde ich sehr gut denn sehr wenige Hotel machen das. Service Team top, super freundlich und immer für eine da.
An diese Stelle danke an Ali, Muhammed und der super Koch seine Name war Saidi glaube ich.
Gastfreundlichkeit bei Muhammed ist ganz groß geschrieben und für sich wie zu Hause.

Die Unterkunft hatte eine super Lage zum Strand und die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich nett und hilfsbereit!
Dafür das das Papaya Guest House erst 2018 eröffnet wurde, ist es dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Neben dem Doppelbett, dass definitiv zu klein für zwei Personen war, gab es an den Wänden Schimmel und generell eine sehr hohe Feuchtigkeit im Zimmer. Dies lag nicht nur an dem nicht funktionierenden Ventilator im Zimmer sondern auch den Schlitzen an der Tür, durch welche ebenfalls alle Mücken und Tiere ins Zimmer kamen. Auch das zu kleine Mückennetz war dabei wenig hilfreich. Das Bad war super klein und leider sehr dreckig. Neben Hennaresten auf dem Boden, war insbesondere die Toilette in einem schlechten Zustand. Unser Zimmer hatte zudem einen ständigen "muffigen/ feuchten" Geruch, der sehr störte.
Auch das Frühstück enttäuschte uns, da es nicht nur kleine Portionen gab, sondern auch keine Auswahl. Wenn man zum Beispiel keine Banane mochte, so konnte man hier wenig essen.

The facility staff were super great, helpful and friendly. They were ready to assist at any request.
The breakfast was pretty good. Different delicious options served everyday (always inclusive of a plate of fruits).
Distance to the beach was really close, about 3 minutes.

The entrance to the guest house can be a bit muddy especially during the rainy season.
The non-white sheets were a turn-off TBH. This can be changed.
The room is basically a simple standard room. It could do with a little indoor modification.

To be very honest, everything. I was so happy with the guest house, it’s a very cozy place in Nungwi and you’ll definitely feel at home in Papaya. The staff is super friendly, always greets you with a smile and you can tell they’re truly willing to help! They even have a dog and a cat which adds to be homely atmosphere, they’re pets of the property and my friends loved them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and super affordable! I’d definitely recommend.

Абсолютно все понравилось! Хороший персонал, лучший повар на острове, вкусная еда по приемлемым ценам. Не надо искать где покушать, в отеле кормят лучше, чем в ресторане. Огромное спасибо хозяину Диме за помощь во всех вопросах и гостеприимстве! Организовал нам экскурсии по острову. Самое впечатляющее мероприятие - это плавание в океане с дельфинами! Дима,его семья и персонал гестхауса смогли создать ощущение, что мы приехали в гости к старым хорошим друзьям домой. Не хотелось расставаться, греет душу только то, что мы сможем вернуться и знаем куда, только в Папайю. Это хорошее место, соотношение цены и качества) свет и вода были всегда, даже если на острове отключали электричество. Хороший вай фай, без проблем можно звонить по видеовызову и работать.
До лучшего места на пляже Нунгви минуты 3 пешком. Пляж потрясающий! В пешей доступности магазины. Смело рекомендую бюджетным путешественникам!

Big Ali and Little Ali are the life of the hotel and go out of their way to make your stay amazing. We wanted to go scuba diving and they woke up early to pack us the most delicious breakfast, opening the kitchen an hour early just for us. Then we had to book a ride and ferry to Dar Es Salaam. They arranged transport for us at cheaper rates than outside taxis and Big Ali personally went with us to buy ferry tickets. Never seen such hospitality. This place is amazing value for money and its hosts cannot be beat anywhere. Will come again.

My stay at the Papaya Guest House was really amazing. I love to chat with big Ali (he’s doing nice chapati :D) and small Ali. Really nice and welcoming people.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food is also very good, they having everyday something else, big thanks to Saidi.
Ans extra bonus is the location, it’s very close to the beach, just follow one road.
I would definitely recommend this Hotel!

The breakfast was wonderful and Ali at the reception was always very helpful for any excursion booking we were interested in, giving us a normal pricelist. The hotel public area is safe and very kid friendly for small kids to run around and play. The bed was excellent and very spacious room. Pricewise, it was a fair-enough accommodation compared to other options.
The bathroom was very small and there was literally no place to even leave our toothbrushes, so all our bathroom stuff, including even a hand towel, had to be permanently carried back and forth from the room.
In our room area there was no place to hang our swimming suits or towels to dry, so we had to hang them on the trees and then take the ants out of them every morning.

The location is excellent. 3 minutes from the most beautiful beach and activities in Zanzibar. The guest house has an exotic and calm vibe.The staff helps you with everything, the food is great , I have no words. I am sure I’m comming back. Thank you

The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything I needed. I got sick at one point and they were so caring and helpful. Anything I needed they went above and beyond for me. Ali and Ali are great. The cools are good are amazing as well. I would love to stay there again.
