Situated in Normanville, this attractive house for $113 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Lobster is all about making memories. A renovated 70's a-frame that instantly transports you back to long simple beach days. A fantastic spot in a quiet street only minutes walk to Normy Beach and the Main street shops, cafes and pub. Leave the car at home and explore the beautiful seaside town by foot. The Lobster is the perfect getaway for couples, friends or families sleeping up to 8 guests, and can be enjoyed at any time of the year. OUTDOORS The Lobster is set on a fully fenced in 800 square meter block with a huge lawn and deck where the kids and family dog can play. The property is dotted with a variety of fruit trees and we encourage you to enjoy the produce if you are lucky enough for them to be fruiting during your stay. CONFIGURATION The Lobster is a double brick, two story home with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 toilets. The main living area features an open plan lounge room, dining and kitchen area capturing the garden views. The laundry and main bathroom lead from the kitchen area. One of the queen bedrooms is also down stairs. Upstairs leads to an extra toilet and two large bedrooms on either side of the landing, one with 2 bunks (4 single beds) and the other with a queen bed. The queen bedroom features a large private balcony with deck chairs and a 180 degree view of the garden, paddock, sand dunes and sea glimpses. PET FRIENDLY We understand that your four-legged friend is part of your family too so we welcome your well behaved pooch. Both Normanville and Carrickalinga beach are dog friendly. We had a wonderful stay at the Lobster. Pip’s communication was prompt and helpful. The house was clean and very well presented. It had a relaxed style and beautiful front gardens to enjoy. It is close to all amenities. I would highly recommend.

Perfect property which is quiet, but close enough to walk to the cafes and shops. The house has a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of places outside to enjoy beautiful weather. Communication with the owner was great.

It was just perfect size for our small family. Clean and cozy, beautiful garden and our 3yo enjoyed the cubby house and sand pit so much. So close to the Normanville town center and beach, yet so quiet in the night. Beautiful night sky. Pip was so easy to communicate too. We would love to visit again and 10/10 recommend to other people. Thank you!

5 stars for the lobster house! My partner doggo and I were looking for a little weekend getaway and the lobster house was perfect! Nice and bright and warm. This winter has been freezing and we were toasty the whole time. Overlooking a lush green garden, the fields and sand hills and super close to the Main Street, we didn’t want to leave. Lobster house is the perfect amount of 70’s kitsch versus modern comforts. We will be back. Thanks so much for having us pip!

When we go away we want to take as little as possible so to have linen was a huge bonus! We made the decision to go away the night before and the communication was fast and helpful. Beautiful garden areas for kids and dog. Comfy beds and pillows. We were only in the house 10mins before working out when we could come back again! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Our third stay at The Lobster was full of surprise and delight. Our daughter loved playing cafe in the new cubby house and spent hours in the sandpit building castles. We saw crabs in the ocean and relaxed in the garden tub as always! Thanks Pip and Graham for continuing to create a special sanctuary for families to enjoy!

Upon arrival, the character of this property was immediately apparent. The children took over the upstairs bedrooms and really valued the outlook. Downstairs was a great space for relaxing as a family. The highlight for us was the outdoor space, with a beautiful bird-attracting garden, which we enjoyed sitting in for our morning and afternoon coffees. The location warrants special mention, with the area being quiet and safe; the children would stroll into the bakery to pick up some treats, and we could be at beautiful beaches in 2 minutes by car.

Great experience from start to finish, beautiful garden setting to relax in. Had a little trouble with the cooktop and pans but that could be our inexperience with induction cooking. Had a great time touring the Fleurieu from Normanville and coming home to the Lobster.

The house has a really nice atmosphere & a lovely outlook over the front garden. We were there during very rough weather (severe weather warnings) but felt very comfortable inside watching the weather pass by. Convenient location too, easy walking distance to beach, shops & to look around.
