Our host Antonino was exceptional. He was always available and kept communication with us throughout our stay. He helped with our transportation arrangements to and from the airport, made recommendations and reservations for restaurants, and reached out to make sure we were doing well and ask if we needed anything. He met us upon arrival and departure to help us with our luggage.
The room is in a wonderful location close to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Sorrento. There are some stairs to get up to the room but we considered it good exercise considering all of the wonderful food we were eating! The room was clean and stocked with goodies. I would definitely stay here again!
We loved everything about our stay. Accommodation and host excellent.

Excellent position in Sorrento. Antonino went out of his way to assist us in every day. He communicated well prior to our arrival, met us off our bus and walked us to our accommodation.
He gave excellent advice on available activities and restaurants.
The room was very comfortable.

It’s right at the heart of Sorrento! It’s only a few minutes walk from the train station. It’s also not too far to walk to Marina Grande and Port of Sorrento. It’s away from the hustle and bustle. The host was very helpful and gave us tips on where to go. The room itself was very clean, bed comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was handy so we can have it before a big day of excursion / trip.
There are stairs leading to the room but this wasn’t an issue for us at all. The host also helped us carry our bags to and from the train station.

We read the vicolo 8 reviews before going there and were expecting a nice stay. But the stay was exceptional.
Antonino is an incredible and kind person and such a welcoming host. We did not feel at any moment that we are staying at a hotel or B&B. The room, services and everything was perfect. It always felt home because of the care and willingness of Antonino to help at all the times. We always knew that if at any point we feel confused in the city, we can just contact him and get the best advice. This only happens when you have that trust in a person.
Sorrento is such a beautiful city and people like Antonino make it even more beautiful. We will surely be going back to not just Sorrento but to our HOME in Sorrento as Antonino always say.
If you are looking for not just accommodation but a home-like feeling, I would highly recommend Vicolo 8. You will not only have an exceptional room and service, but you will also gain a great friend in Antonino who will make your trip even better.
