Heritage award-winning restoration to breathtaking standards. This magnificent 1911 Romanesque style church boasts luxury accommodation. Suitable for couples, families and corporate use.
3 master suites, all with ensuites including king size beds dressed in Egyptian cotton bed linens. Limestone clad ensuite bathrooms and spa.
*** ( Beds can be separated where required.... please make a request.)
The main church area has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Limestone flooring throughout with underfloor heating.
The property is fully furnished with an eclectic mixture of antique furnishings and contemporary inclusions.
Secure compound with covered parking.

We operate a Twin Share booking process with the 3 Suites in the Church.
*** When 3 guests would like a Suite each you will need to place the booking for 6 guests to correctly generate the cost. (Which would be whole of house)

Broken Hill is a fascinating town and the Outback Churchstay is both a beautiful and convenient base for exploring the area. It is situated only a few minutes from the airport and five minutes from the town centre and its attractions such as the mineral museum, Palace Hotel and Line of Lode Memorial. Beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are a decent size, with lovely ensuites and a generous number of large, fluffy towels! There is an upstairs sitting area perfect for reading, your morning brew or evening drink.Other than the bedroom with the spa bath, the ground level is open plan with a large dining table and L-shaped sofa. There is a coffee machine and good supply of crockery and cutlery. If needed, there is a washing machine but no dryer but a clothesline outside. The property has undercover parking but no outside sitting area, as such. Churchstay’s host, Andrea, is a dream to communicate with and is truly concerned with making it the best stay possible. And she succeeded!

A luxurious and unique place to stay in a city that itself is both unique and full of surprise. Yes it’s nice, yes it’s big and yes it has everything you need, but we’d go back just for the bathroom in the master suite - which is massive!
It’s a quiet part of town and once we were inside we heard nothing - very heavenly. Argent street is about a 5 minute drive away to get to shops and restaurants.
Overall a great place and we are hoping to be back again one day with the rest of the family.
