About this house rental
Located in Destin, this lovely house for $800 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Escape to 'Bahama Breeze' - a seven bedroom, five and a half bath, luxury beach home located DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO w/ beach access. Features a private heated pool (pool heat is optional for an additional cost of $45 per day, plus sales tax). Has a Cabana house. Home sleeps 16 in beds/ 2 on sleepers, for a total of 18. The large driveway has parking for 6 cars so parking is never a problem. Immerse yourself in this professionally decorated beach home that boasts gulf views on all 3 floors, with decks and patios on every floor. The back yard features an OUTDOOR POOL TABLE, PING PONG TABLE, horseshoes, a large deck with covered arbor, a table seating 10, 6 loungers, stainless steel gas grill, extensive landscaping and outdoor hot/cold shower. House has porcelain tile floors throughout. Fully furnished kitchen features granite countertops with subway tile backsplash all the way to the ceiling, stainless steel appliances, upgraded cookware/utensils. All beds have upgraded mattresses. All bathrooms feature upgraded shower heads. Golf Cart: Because local companies were charging our guests $165/day for golf carts we decided to do something about it. We went out and bought a fleet of golf carts for all of our houses (Harleman Vacation Rentals), and we now have them available for our guests to rent. The charge is $300/week plus tax. A great price for a 6 seater Club Car Tempo with leather seats and a sound system. If you want to make sure one is available for your stay please inquire before booking. The house is located in an incredible location. Walking distance to numerous restaurants, shopping, coffee shop and more. Directly in front of the house is a 5 mile strand/path that is great for walking, running, biking, and roller blading. Amenities: Fully furnished kitchen features stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, disposal, oven, stove, microwave), granite counter tops, and upgraded cookware. Other features include a high capacity washer/ dryer, private pool (may be heated for additional charge), cabana house, 27"-32" LCD TV's in all bedrooms, 55' LCD TV in main house den, child friendly home with pack and play, baby gates, and high chair available at no additional charge. King and queen bedding consists of upgraded mattresses, and luxury bedding ensembles; all sleeper sofas and chairs feature upgraded mattresses; jetted spa tub in master bath; professionally decorated. Large driveway has parking for 6 cars. House has Wi-Fi broadband internet access. Fold-up, tailgating type beach chairs to take to the beach, along with a beach wagon to carry the chairs. Activities:: Beaches, golf, diving, boating, fishing, water parks, swimming, local attractions, fine dining, shopping including one of the largest designer outlet centers in the country. Area: The Crystal Beach area is located just a few blocks from the popular Destin Commons shopping center. It is bordered on one side by Henderson State Park and on the other side by the Destiny neighborhoods. It is considered by many to be the vacation destination of choice in Destin. It is a family friendly, upscale area within walking distance of some of the best local restaurants, a coffee shop, deli, and spa. ACTIVITIES: Beaches, golf, diving, boating, fishing, water parks, swimming, local attractions, fine dining, shopping including the largest designer outlet center in the country. There is also a large playground for children two blocks away that is open to the public. Pool heat: Pool heat is $45 per day plus tax ($315 per week plus tax). Optional Beach service: As a courtesy to guests, we offer a discounted beach service. If you choose this option, vendors will set up two umbrellas and four chairs, Sunday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Many of our guests enjoy this amenity as it guarantees a reserved spot on the beach and does not require you to lug the umbrellas and chairs back and forth yourself. This typically runs about $500 a week, through the vendor. But, because we have a contract with them we offer it to you for the steeply discounted rate of $250 + tax.

We had a wonderful family vacation. There were 16 of us ranging from 2 yrs old to 83 yrs old. Everyone had a great time. Golf cart was a nice bonus to haul around kids and beach toys. The kids were in the pool every day and we had absolutely no issues with the heater as previously mentioned. Any issue we had was immediately addressed and resolved. (There weren't towels in every bathroom and a couple beds were missing a blanket). The location is perfect and the house is just beautiful.

We had a good stay. Comfortable beds, tons of items in the kitchen to use for a large group. Loved that there was a large pantry. Backyard was nice, pool was great. Communication was wonderful, we had a couple issues with the pool heat and they responded and took care of the issues very quickly. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Glad we didn't have 6 cars, 4 was a tight fit getting in and out.
Only negative thing was the public beach access across the street. It's an entry way not a beach due to the private beaches. People were literally right on top of your stuff. We didn't walk to the other access down the road due to how much stuff and kids we had with us. When booking we booked based off of the beach access being right across the street so that was disappointing.

Communication with the property manager was great. Freya was so nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need to cook family dinners. The house could definitely use some upgrades. The fence in the backyard was pretty raggedy. The floors really need a good cleaning. It didn't seem as if they had been scrubbed in quite some time. While waiting on our uber, we did run into one of the maintenance men. He was also very nice and told us the house will be receiving updates very soon. We told him the front door was coming off of its hinges, he was very quick to fix it. The beach service is kind of far. It would have been nice if it was at the first beach access. With all of that being said we would still definitely stay again. Our flights were changed on both the day we arrived and the day we left. Freya was very accommodating in letting us leave our luggage outback before check in and after check out which we were so thankful for. My family loved the stay and we didn't want to leave.

The house had great beds & pillows, the kitchen had lots of good knives, stainless pots & large bowls & pitchers that were big enough for our family (8 adults & 7 children). The pool & yard activities were fun, and it was great to have 4 couches in the living room.
The closest beach access is bordered on both sides by condos that have taken their “possession” of the beach way too far! They rope off “their” area and have bouncers (at least on Sunday) How unpleasant! It only leaves 30 feet of beach access. It is much nicer to walk down a few blocks (even though we had 2 nursing moms & diapers & naps). So, we weren’t close like we wanted to be because of the lousy neighbors ☹️

We really enjoyed our stay. The photos do make the outdoor area look larger than it is but it was still very nice. The ping pong net was broke when we got there and the pool table is weathered (but it is outside). Rooms were spacious and beds very comfy. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

We all had such a great time! The property was very comfortable with the large group we had. Enough space for everyone. Since there were some teenagers with us, the pool table and ping pong table were a hit. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to keep items clean and dry. There were two refrigerators, which made it nice to store our beverages in one and food in the other. The only issue was the second refrigerator needed some tlc. It lacked shelving and it took a long time to cool things down. We had one little snag with some amenities that weren’t readily available or functioning properly but after contacting the manager, they quickly responded and took care of it. The property was in walking distance to the beach, as well as to restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment. The only thing that was needed was more paper towels and TP. This was a large group and we were provided the bare minimum (two rolls of TP per bathroom and only two rolls of paper towels). Overall, we had a great experience and would book this property again. The property is in the perfect location for the beach and shopping! We had 16 adults in our group the house was comfortable for the most part,if you don't mind sleeping in bunk beds.it is the perfect set up for 5 couples and 4 children with a couple of teens on the third floor!the management are very attentive and reachable. We will definitely stay here again!

We used this accommodation for our large family Thanksgiving get together. It was comfortable, close to the beach and shopping amenities. Michael responded quickly to some minor problems, which were resolved.

My parents, my brother-in-law and his kids, my husband and our kids and I stayed here for a family trip. There were 11 of us and the house had ample space for us all. Having so many bathrooms was a plus. The adult "kids" enjoyed the pool table and we all enjoyed the pool. The backyard space was great for hanging out. Being so close to the beach was convenient. There are several grocery stores that are close and shopping is just a 10 min. walk. We cooked all of our meals at the house and there were ample dishes, silverware, and cookware for our needs. The house does have some signs of wear but everything was functional and comfortable and met our needs. The Ice Cream Shoppe became a favorite stop and we got fresh seafood at the Sea Market. I would highly recommend both.
