Host was excellent in terms of being able to reach her and being helpful/informative. The apartment is well stocked and has many amenities that are especially helpful to short term renters (snacks, water, coffee pods). Location was especially convenient for the events we came to attend.

My only regret is that I did not find this gem of a rental sooner! It is AMAZING! We stayed for two visits (four nights and then after a few days out of state, two more nights) and both times the rental was immaculately clean. The host, Mary, responded to all questions (via the VRBO platform) within hours. The unit is centrally located in Shrewsbury. Restaurants, grocery and drug stores are within short walking and/or driving distance. (The town library is drivable and offers an out-of-area library card for a small fee, which allows you to borrow materials and reserve discount passes to museums, etc.)The photos give an excellent representation of the rental. It is bright and sunny. Our teenagers LOVED the bunk beds! The living room was cozy and has a large tv with Roku. The bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was incredible. It was like home away from home, being able to cook meals, stock groceries, and do laundry. Those creature comforts and the privacy made this 1000x better than a hotel.Mary (the host) really seems to have a gift for hospitality, from responding to questions to furnishing the rental, you can tell she wants guests to have an A experience. One small example is the dishes: most rentals have a mishmash of patterns, etc. This rental has the most beautiful, matching dinnerware and serving pieces. It is a "little" thing, but serving up the dinner we made in those lovely pieces made the our stay even more special! Thank you!

Apartment faces divided highway.It is well appointed. Kitchen surpasses typical vacation rental. Exceedingly clean

The place was nice, clean, and conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and stores. However, the one issue that soured our weekend happened on the last day: the door code the host provided suddenly stopped working.When we tried calling the number the host had given us, it turned out to be a business line that surprise, surprise went straight to voicemail. We contacted Vrbo customer service, but even they couldn’t reach the host. It took over an hour for the host to finally respond.When they did unlock the door, they implied the issue was our fault, suggesting we had entered the wrong code. That was frustrating and frankly ridiculous. We triple-checked the code multiple times while we were stuck outside, and we had been using the same code without issue the day before. It’s not like we suddenly forgot how to enter it. Next time, I think we’ll just stay at a hotel.
