Our 3rd visit this year, did not expect to stay off site. Description is misleading.

We found the walk to the main restaurant too far, due to severe asthma. It was agreed we could eat by the pool, however breakfast in the main restaurant is slightly better.

This property is not suitable for someone with breathing issues. There are 3 flights of stairs and no light. After the first flight I was severely breathless, so I could not return to the accommodation during the day.

Very relaxing stay at Solar and would recommend as the room was better

Property was new and all facilities were as described. Breakfast was good and dinner varied. Cleaning in apartment was particularly good and all staff there were very friendly.

Dining room was a bit hectic at times and getting service such pot of coffee or table reset did take some time on occasions.

Didn’t like the 45 steps to our suite which was never mentioned on website. Felt they were quite dangerous and should have been warned about them.

Very good

There is nothing reallllly wrong with this hotel, but its also not stunning or fantastic in any way, which we kind of expected for the price. Overall we had a good stay, but it all felt massively overpriced. All the staff was definitely very nice and helpful.

Hot tub didn't work for half of our stay. No reimbursement for this, even though the two bedroom apartment without the hot tub is a fair bit cheaper. Bad smell on the first floor, especially the inner bedroom. Dinner buffet got old after the 3rd evening. It seemed like they concentrated more on delivering a massive number of desserts. There's a massive number of apartments / villas available in the Mogan - Tauro - Puerto Rico area, so you are paying A LOT extra to stay in an apartment in a hotel.

We loved the resort and the hotel

We loved the hotel,although we were in an adjacent apartment block, which was very modern, comfortable and secure with fantastic outside space and a great view. The hotel is very well located, very attractive, impeccably maintained and the staff are a pleasure to deal with. It is a relaxed environment and the gardens are spectacular. Take the horticulture tour if you stay, as you’ll find out about the stunning plants and trees. The breakfast, which was part of our deal, was plentiful with lots of choice. There were a lot of people staying over Christmas but the catering staff kept everything well stocked. There are two pools - one really for families and children and one a more relaxed, quiet pool.

If you give the address of the apartment to the taxi, you end up unable to access it unless you go on a long walk to the hotel reception. Best to go to the hotel as your destination first. The hotel needs a sign on the apartment block door making clear how to gain access. We were helped by a very nice Swedish woman but after a long, tiring day, clear instructions would have helped.

simply amazing, we have already booked to return next year

the apartment facilities were fantastic, two extremely spacious terraces, great hot tub and brilliant air con’. breakfast in the hotel and the facilities in the hotel itself were also great. the combination of both worked perfectly for us. all staff extremely helpful.

if I had one [picky] suggestion, a parasol on the upper terrace (we stayed in 1 bed’ superior apartment/304) would have been great. we stayed in June and after 4pm there is no shade from the current fixed sliding awnings so no escape from the intense heat after that time til the sun went down after 8pm.

A wonderful break in quiet location, excellent beach and marina

it’s very clean with well tended grounds. it’s not high-rise with plenty of space

Briliant accommodation in a brilliant location

Bright and spacious with an amazing terrace. Incredibly clean and well serviced and well stocked. These apartments allow the use of all the Cordial hotel facilities which were great! Definitely recommend and will return!!

Excellent. we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The property was modern, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday.

The shower head wouldn’t stay in position so we had to hold it by hand.

Superb

Amazing terrace with the jacuzzi overlooking the 'mountain'. The staff especially Nabil was always available, very nice and helpful. Tons of choice for breakfast. Two pools, with one quieter than the other. The resort is like a giant garden where the birds often sing.

Perfect stay in a perfect location!

Fantastic views, jacuzzi and all comfort!

If we were to pick one thing, it would be the lights in the bathroom. A bit difficult for shaving and make up. Overall, a minor thing.

Great apartment and hotel facilities, nice location, nice people, food could be better.

Friendly staff. Apartment very well appointed, spacious and clean. Having your own jacuzzi is lovely. Short easy walk to the beach and shops. Lovely grounds - if you're into plants, the gardens are very interesting.

Spotted a few cockroaches near the buffet at dinner on day 1 and unfortunately one started crawling up our 8 month old baby's highchair which was enough to encourage us to leave dinner early. Didn't see any on subsequent nights but we changed where we were sitting. The buffet is plentiful but some of the food is not that great.
