About this house rental
A charming, detached holiday home with a spacious garden in Casale Corte Cerro, a small village just a few minutes’ drive from Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, ideally situated for access to the many mountain walking trails of the Val d’Ossola and the shores of the nearby lakes with their tourist attractions. The property is spread over two floors. On the ground floor: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and spacious living room. A staircase leads to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large sun terrace. Garden for al fresco dining with garden furniture and a barbecue. The area is ideal for visiting the beautiful town of Orta (15.5 km), from where boats depart for the nearby island of San Giulio, the ‘island of stone’, a little medieval gem; from Arona (35 km); and the beautiful Stresa (12 km) on the shores of Lake Maggiore, from where excursions to the Borromean Islands are possible. Lake Maggiore is a popular destination for sports enthusiasts, who can enjoy kitesurfing and wakesurfing here. A motorway runs 4 km away.
