Located in New River, this attractive condo for $89 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This one bedroom, one bath Casita is ideally located close to all the Phoenix area amenities, yet is in a rural neighborhood surrounded by other horses properties. Set on a 7.5 acre parcel, the Casita is part of a working horse training facility that includes a roping arena, horse stalls and cattle pens. There is also a 3 bed 3 bath house available for rent on the same property. You can bring your own horses to board(contact owner for price and availability) or just come to enjoy all the other surrounding activities that are close by. Situated close to the town of Cave Creek, the Casita is within waking distance of the Maricopa Trail and Sonoran Preserve. It is minutes away from the Ben Avery Shooting Range, Lake Pleasant, numerous great golf courses and North Scottsdale. Whether you come to greater Phoenix area for horse events, golfing, hiking, “The Barrett Jackson”, “Phoenix Open”, spring training games, shopping or ATV/UTV riding, you’ll find this Casita convenient to all these attractions. It is also convenient to great restaurants and entertainment. If your into the Roping and Barrel Racing events that go on all winter in Phoenix, we are located near several Arenas, Dynamite Arena is only 15 Min away, Town of Wickenburg is only 45 min away and has several Roping arenas and Barrel races going all winter! Morris Town is 40 Min away for a couple Roping Arenas. Buckeye Arena in Buckeye AZ is only a 45 min drive from this house! And so much more! The Casita is furnished with a queen size bed, couch, microwave, small refrigerator, coffee pot, utensils and small BBQ grill outside. It has a TV and air conditioning. A small patio with table and chairs gives a nice outdoor feel. Lots of natural desert vegetation, including saguaros, palo verdes and mesquites, surround the Casita, providing a private setting. New signage would make it easier to find. We enjoyed the mule, quail, lizards, cotton tails, cactus wrens and little ground squirrels. Horses and long horn cattle were friendly. Definitely a calm setting.

Absolutely loved our Casita. It was perfect for my husband and I while vending for a week in Cave Creek. Marley, the dog, was super sweet. Enjoyed her occasional visits. There were muffins, a bottle of wine and other goodies waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great getaway for my husband and I. Sandy had made pastries and had wine, cheese and crackers for us. That was great as we hadn't eaten and didn't something to snack on before we went out to eat. The ranch is a little out of the way but don't let that dissuade you - there are still plenty of things to do nearby. We were also fortunate enough to get to watch some calf roping at the ranch. Afterwards, the dog came over to us so that he could be praised for the good work he did. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. p.s. hope your neck gets better soon!

Stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding and hike. The home was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect halfway point between our wedding location in Phoenix and Sedona. The owners responded immediately to a couple of questions we had. The highlight may have been Marley, the owner’s pup that welcomed us when we arrived and came to wish us safe travels when we left. Very quiet and peaceful location as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay with Sandy and Steve. They made us feel right at home. The Casita was perfect for two people. It is located on their family horse ranch. I loved saying hi to the horses every morning with my coffee, not to mention their adorable dog Marley. The location was perfect for getting around the area. It's so close to everything, yet you feel like you're away from it all. We went for the Waste Management Open, which was only about 25 minutes away. We were also close to several great golf courses, hiking trails, and restaurants. They also have a larger house next to the Casita that they rent out as well. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return!

Clean and comfortable casita. Coffee pot AND coffee provided! Also there was a bottle of wine, crackers and cheese, some fruit and a muffin. The hosts left a hand written welcome note with their phone numbers should I have any questions. Top notch at a reasonable price. Would stay there again.

Unfortunately I was very busy and didn't have much time to stay on the property and enjoy it. However the sun rises and sunsets are beautiful and the horses and the country feel very nice. The unit was clean and well stocked with all that you would need.

The casita was exactly as the pictures portray!! It was impeccable! Sandy was an amazing host! It was well stocked with all the needs and extras!! I never had to drive in a major highway for four days! Beautiful hikes in a very short drive, great scenery for sunrise breakfast and morning work along with sunset dinners! Nice visits from the A sweet puppy and kitty! So close to everything yet set in the middle of ranches that sets one up for pure relaxation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Casita. Every morning we had coffee and tea on the patio. It was so quiet and relaxing. The flexibility of being able to come and go was perfect for our trip! The snacks were so appreciated. One thing, there is a substantial gap under the front door that has me wondering if we’d end up with scorpions or spiders in our shoes! Simple fix though I’m sure if the door is adjusted. The place was so relaxing and can’t wait to stay again! Thanks for everything!!
