About this house rental
Nestled in Rogers, this charming house for $199 per night is a great option for your next break. In 2018 we renovated our small guest house that is walking distance to downtown, Compton Gardens, and Crystal Bridges. This small and quaint little cottage is our guest house on a perfect small town street. The front bedroom was upgraded, and the back bedroom was converted to a master bath, with a new shower and refurbished 100 year old claw tub. It will sleep two in the master bedroom. The new renovation has a tank-less water heater and stacked washer & dryer. Property includes WIFI and several premium channels for your entertainment. Enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning in the original kitchen nook of this comfortable little rental. Please be fully aware that this guest house sits on our main residence property, so you do share our yard. We want you to book us with full knowledge of the set up. The good news is we are close by if you need anything during your stay. We are sorry, but no pets allowed at this property.

We loved our accommodations at Mockingbird Cottage! The cottage was immaculate & very nicely decorated with touches of Holiday decor which made it that much more special for our visit. The bed & pillows were very comfortable & we slept great! The house is a very short walk to the Bentonville Town Square so location was perfect. Kevin was excellent in his communication with us & even had the cottage ready early for our arrival. Highly recommended for a perfect place to stay in Bentonville!!

We had a most delightful stay at Mockingbird Cottage near downtown Bentonville. My husband and I stayed there to avoid a long drive home after attending a concert in Rogers, AR. The cottage was charmingly decorated and thoughtfully outfitted with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable and convenient, with more than enough space for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable with a variety of different pillows to suit any preference. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and basic toiletries were provided. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics (you could easily book an extended stay there and prepare your own meals) and there were also some packaged snacks, beverages and filtered water provided, which was a pleasant surprise. It was a short walk through a quiet, pleasant neighborhood to get to all the restaurants, bars and attractions downtown. We had no occasion to contact the hosts directly, but they had left plenty of printed information about the unit and the area to help us enjoy our stay. We have nothing but good things to say about Mockingbird Cottage. If our plans take us to the Bentonville area in the future, we would happily stay there again!

This was my second time staying at the Mockingbird Cottage. As with my previous stay, everything was wonderful! I can tell a lot of thought went into the decor, information provided, and overall setting of the cottage. It is a wonderful respite close within walking distance to the square in Bentonville. The only problem is that we did not want to leave the cottage because of how relaxing it was. Everything you could need was provided and the owner's communication was wonderful. Looking forward to our next stay!

The Mockingbird Cottage was even better than we expected. The cottage was really cute, clean and well organized. It was the perfect size for two people. We stayed for only a couple of nights.
We parked the car upon arrival and didn't drive again till we left for home. The cottage is located near the downtown and the trails leading to Crystal Bridges. We loved being able to walk downtown for breakfast and dinner. In the evening, after a full day of hiking, we relaxed on the comfy couch.
I loved the breakfast nook, I used it as my office to get some work done as my husband slept in.
The only downside was I was a little allergic to the clothes detergent and had itchy eyes toward the end. However if I stayed longer, I'd just wash everything in unscented detergent.
The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was so quiet.
Kevin, the owner, was friendly and so responsive. He gave a great recommendation for dinner and we had the best meal of the week!
I'd highly recommend staying in the Mockingbird Cottage!

The cottage is amazing. It’s warm and welcoming and is as comfortable as it looks. The King bed is excellent. Living room furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is super-well equipped. Easy walk to downtown and the trails. We’ll be back!

The mockingbird cottage was a perfect place to stay to enjoy everything that Bentonville has to offer. It’s location makes accessing the greenway, Crystal Bridges, the square and various restaurants and shops super easy. Each morning my wife and I began with a bike ride on the greenway and then were able to walk or ride our bikes to breakfast. The cottage includes everything you need for a relaxing stay We will definitely return to stay at this property on our next visit to Bentonville.

This place really is amazing. The location is great to access the mountain bike trails and downtown. Kevin was great and messaged me info but otherwise left us alone. If I had any complaint, and it's not really, it's that the cottage has a real key. I realized on the last day that if I didn't want to carry it, I could have stuck it in the box and used the code to retrieve it.

This was a fantastic cottage. We had a wonderful weekend. The cottage was perfectly decorated and had everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend away. The location was perfect. We were an easy walk to the gardens and the Crystal Bridge's trails. We could also easily walk downtown for dinner. The back porch was relaxing and the king-sized bed was perfect. We will be back! Five stars all around!

Great owners, great place! Property was perfect in every way. Close to center of town and everything else we wanted to see. Just parked our vehicle and walked the entire weekend. Cottage was tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Fully stocked and extremely comfortable. Definitely our go to place moving forward when visiting the area!

We fell in love with Mockingbird Cottage when we saw it online, and it did not disappoint us when we actually arrived at the cottage. The interior is beautifully decorated. We loved eating in the little breakfast nook as well as on the cozy back porch. The kitchen is probably the best stocked one of all the VRBO places we've visited. The host was friendly and willing to answer our questions. We loved how close the cottage is to the main square as well.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Just a short walk to restaurants and bars. Only a two block ride to Compton Gardens and All American Trail.

If you want to feel like you are stepping back in time but with all the modern amenities, this is the perfect cottage. The attention to detail is a 10 out of 10. The pictures online don't capture the real essence of this little cottage. A wonderful romantic spot tucked away in a small quaint neighborhood but also within walking or biking distance to everything downtown Bentonville. For those couples who are biking, they have a fenced in back porch area where you can feel safe storing your bikes. The bed was very comfortable and the shower felt amazing. We also enjoyed their sweet little orange tabby cat, Rocky, visits. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Bentonville.

The quaint cottage is conveniently located near the square and within a short walk to our son and his wife's how where our grand children live. The cottage is well appointed, stocked with some basics (coffee for me, Tea for my wife. Clean, cozy and accommodating.

Great location! Tucked away on a quiet street, yet just blocks away from downtown, restaurants, coffeehouses, and trailheads. We didn’t drive the whole weekend; it was a beautiful walk everywhere we went. The cottage is lovely, charming, extremely clean, and well appointed. The owners have truly thought of every detail. You’ll feel at home the moment you walk in the door! The owners are easy to communicate with and very helpful; you can tell they take great pride in their property. We also had a visit from the owner’s cat, Rocky, who was sweet and friendly. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Bentonville!

The Mockingbird Cottage is a very welcoming, comfortable and homey. Every detail was attended to. It is obvious that a lot of care was taken when furnishing and decorating the cottage. There are nicely furnished covered front and back porches. The cottage is a short and easy walk to the Bentonville square. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will return when visiting the area again.
