Situated in Frederick, this lovely house for $251 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Very unique Beautifully Renovated Historic 1840 Downtown Frederick Log Cabin House. There really isn’t anything like this in Frederick. The house is so close to everything downtown. Its about a ten minute walk to the Canal. The holiday season is my wife s favorite time of year in downtown Frederick. The streets are all lit up and looks beautiful. It has all the amenities of a house to live in full-time. I set it up to live in and ended up moving to Hawaii. Everything is brand new outside of the logs for the cabin and the flooring. It is truly beautiful. There are so many things to do in downtown Frederick. There are restaurants and bars working a 10 min walk from the house. I bought the cabin about 4 yrs ago. There were no windows, doors, electrical or plumbing. It was a full renovation to it back to its original beauty with all the modern amenities. It is now a super comfortable place to stay. There is a photo album on the coffee table showing the renovation process. I hope you enjoy the log cabin as much as my family does.

My mom and sisters were looking for a close location to Northern Virginia for a quick winter get away. This cabin met all our expectations. It is walkable to downtown Frederick for shopping and great restaurants. We also took a drive to a few small towns such as Middletown, MD, as well as, Antietam National Battlefield. If you like history, this area is a wonderful area to visit and this rental is a perfect has your base location.
This house has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. We had a few questions during our stay and Danny was very responsive.

This VRBO is wonderful. Charming log cabin renovated into a modern cozy welcoming home. The beds/linens were very comfortable, kitchen totally stocked, and decor trendy comfortable and functional. Great location - walked everywhere. Host was accessible and easy to communicate with but we really didn't need anything. Start to finish fabulous property/VRBO - look forward to renting again. A gem !

Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. There’s a brew pub on the corner too.
The home is clean, quaint, and has a warm welcoming feel to it.
We cooked several meals in the kitchen and got to just hang out and enjoy the family room area too. Really positive experience overall.

Very charming home located in downtown Frederick. Very clean and organized. Beds were super comfortable and the owners were quick to communicate during our stay if we needed something.
Walking distance to most of the bars and restaurants.

Visited MD for a family wedding weekend and this property and location had everything we needed for three generations that stayed together!! Walkable to local restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Uber ride from nearby locations was affordable. Bathrooms were big enough for getting ready. And the kitchen had all that we needed to make meals together! Great response from the host on a couple of quick questions!

The house was great and had enough space for 6 adults, an infant and a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is outstanding and Danny,the host was very easy to communicate with.

This charmingly refurbished log cabin exceeded our expectations—quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Frederick’s many attractions, shops, galleries and restaurants. Beautifully restored walls in the living room showcased the architecture of the original 1860 log cabin. A restful hideaway in a great town.

1840s log cabin that has been wonderfully modernized ~ new kitchen, baths, comfy beds, etc. Close proximity to Market Street restaurants. Owner was awesome ~ check-in easy and prompt. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this property.

The house is ideal for an incredible weekend adventure in Historic Downtown Frederick, Maryland. The place is newly renovated, clean and very well kept with all the amenities at your fingertips. The property owner was very pleasant and answered our questions promptly. During our stay in April, we explored the local haunts including coffee shops, breweries, eclectic stores, art galleries and a variety of restaurants that exceeded our expectations. We felt safe walking home at night and took advantage of the nearby spa, Baker Park, Everyday Square & Shab Row and Carroll Creek Park. Scenic hiking is 20 minutes away at Catoctin Mountain Park with picturesque Catoctin Breeze Vineyard nearby. Highly recommend!

Really nice cabin style dwelling that was close to downtown and just right for our girls weekend. The VRBO site had some issues loading check in info, but Danny was very responsive.

The cabin was a perfect place for 5 longtime friends to meet for an annual get together! Easy parking, comfy beds, and plenty of coffee. We walked into town for dining, shopping and drinks, but also enjoyed hanging out at the house.

I don’t have enough good things to say about our stay at the cabin. Not only was the house beautiful but Danny was an excellent host. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends/family!

Great cabin with everything you could need. Hosts are very responsive and have put a lot of care into this property. This is the second stay for us and it was, again, a great experience. The best brewery and coffee shop in town are within a block and everything else in Frederick is within walking distance.

We loved our 2 night stay here. The master mattress was so comfortable, and that is coming from two picky adults who typically dislike mattresses when we are traveling. We woke feeling well rested. The master shower had great water pressure (another thing we value when traveling!). It's quite amazing to know it is a 1800s property and imagine the care and detail that went into restoring it to the modern and comfortable place it is today. We would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful and well maintained property. We appreciated the blend of old and new styling and the kitchen and baths are top notch and well equipped. The location is great for walking to everything in downtown Frederick. As most people who live in a city know, the private driveway is a valuable asset. We would definitely stay there again.

Our family stayed here for our daughter's wedding. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house, but it was a wonderful location to walk to downtown Frederick, both in the morning to stroll along the river walk, and at night to check out the bars. The house is a lovely mix of old and new. And was very well appointed with all that we needed. Would stay there again in a heart beat, but don't want to marry off my daughter again any time soon!

We booked this as a "wedding long weekend" HQ for our family of four adults. Master bedrom with king bed downstairs was super comfortable. Only issue, we ran out of toilet paper, but picked up more when shopping for other items in town.
Neighbor parked their car really close to property and that made it difficult to get in and out, but on day 3 they moved it. Games were fun to play and photo book was neat to look at. A BBQ would be an awesome addition:)! We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Frederick Family Retreat
We booked the Log Cabin as an alternative to bunking up at a family member's house and the stay worked out fabulously. The house has been carefully curated for guests with hotel-level amenities and labelling. During one of the hottest weeks of summer, the home's ac system worked beautifully. We'd love to return in a future season to enjoy all the charming shops and restaurants in Frederick. We rate it 5-stars!

Easy checkin, all stocked with all the amenities needed. It’s a historic building with great history. The owner Danny does a great job of complementing the history with a touch of modernism. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Great stay!

Work Visit
A colleague and I visited our Frederick office team members and stayed
here downtown. It was a perfect location to all the fun downtown, including our office. The walking commute in the mornings and evenings were great. The cabin itself was perfect, too. One of the cleanest places I've experienced. The small details were all thought of, nothing was missing. Thanks for a great visit!

Another wonderful weekend
This was our second stay at the cabin and it was just as perfect as the last! It’s all the tiny details of the house that make it so special. You can tell the house is well cared for. In addition it’s in a great location, easy to walk down town to restaurants and shops. You can’t go wrong booking here!

Great Girls Weekend
My mom, sister, and I stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. Plenty of space for ourselves and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and the location was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Make sure you make reservations for lunch and dinner….Frederick restaurants are very popular! My only feedback is that I wish check out could have been a little later so we could have enjoyed some additional shopping on Sunday. When we got to the shops after we checked out, we realized that they didn’t open until noon. We had already eaten breakfast, so there was really nothing for us to do but go home. Other than that it was a perfect weekend away! THANK YOU!!

A real gem in a great small town
The cottage was cozy, warm, clean, and organized. We have stayed in many different properties all over the United States over the past decade and this is one of our favorites. It's exactly as pictured and described. I am grateful that our 12 year old was excited to have the bedroom and bathroom upstairs all to herself because the stairs are quite narrow and my knees were not happy when I was climbing them. All of the beds were comfortable and there are plenty of clean linens, towels, pillows, etc. We have actually never stayed at a rental where there are choices of pillow firmness! The kitchen has great appliances and plenty of space for groceries. Frederick is a great town and we spent lots of time eating in the numerous restaurants (several recommended by the owners) and shopping. We hope to return to the cottage again the next time we are visiting family in Maryland. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Lovely cabin in Heart of Historic Frederick
We rented this cabin for a short getaway and could not have been happier! The cabin is gorgeous and beautifully renovated. Beds were super comfortable, Wi-Fi was strong and loved all the amenities. Easy walk to shops and restaurants, as well as the river walk. Highly recommend!!!
