About this condo rental
Located in Amherst, this charming condo for $135 per night is a great choice for your next break. ( please be aware there is a 2 night minimum for Friday and saturday nights) This is our second rental property located downstairs from our first. We've taken great care to make this an airy yet cozy space. Your space is completely private with everything you could want in a fully furnished apartment close to everything yet peaceful and homey. Our space is designed with you in mind - comfortable beds and plush towels and a full kitchen for snacks or meals. We provide snacks in the fridge on arrival - some kind of bread or fruit or granola bars or all of the above. We provide the things we always wish we had when we go away like paper towels and butter and salt and pepper and a few eggs and a real refrigerator. The wifi is fast and the tv is big and there's a reading nook for a little resting spot. We enjoy hosting couples and families and have met some really nice people and it shows in our reviews. We are very kid friendly with a swingset and sandpile in the front yard. There are several playgrounds within a 5 minute drive. Please note a 2 night minimum for Friday and Saturday .

Apartment was lovely with many thoughtful extras including night light, signs, delicious snacks, an exceptionally comfortable bed, cozy living room, and well appointed kitchen.

Very nice apartment. It appears to be newly renovated. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was nice and well equipped. It was clean and came with bedding and towels. They even had some snacks and some breakfast food in the refrigerator. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is exactly like the pictures. Even though it's a basement apartment, it not dark at all. You can see it's been recently renovated, painted, etc. and well taken care of. The hosts left eggs, butter, milk and several slices of delicious cranberry bread in the fridge. What a nice touch!!
We were visiting friends in Sunderland and this location was perfect for getting to their house plus it's near so many lovely towns and historic sites. We loved Puffers Pond. Would definitely come back to this place again.

Wonderful apt. Very clean with many amenities including breakfast food and snacks which added a nice touch. Was concerned about it being a basement apartment but hardly noticeable when you’re inside. This one is a keeper for sure. Thank you to the Kimballs for allowing us to enter early.

We were in town for a family celebration. The space allowed us to spread out and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts left snacks in the fridge when we checked in. It’s clean, nicely appointed, and the beds were super comfortable.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We chose to sleep on the couch rather than the tiny room with a sheet curtain hiding the bulkhead stairs 😏

Every thing we needed to visit UMASS for parents weekend. Basement apartment was well appointed and comfortable, although a little dark. The homemade cranberry bread was a sweet touch and appreciated after a full day of travel

This is a lovely property that we enjoyed. There were toiletries left for us as well as wonderful snacks in the frige. We were just there for a weekend but had a great time here. Lee and Bill are great hosts!

Everything was perfect! Only suggestion - I think the Keurig is on the blink. Coffee is watery. I googled it and I think the unit needs to be taken slightly apart so the 2 needles can be declogged. Thank you for this sweet place😊

The television had cable with lots of channels to surf if desired. There is lots of dresser space if you want to unpack your clothes during your stay.
Only possible criticism is the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't terribly powerful and the water temperature fluctuated a few times mid-shower. The bathroom was really nice though and these issues were easy to forgive!

We stayed only one night but this would be a good longer-term place. Lots of space and a good kitchen. Beds very comfortable (if you like soft). Clean, not too basementy even though it's a basement apartment. Nice hospitable touches.

We came into town from Michigan for a week to attend my mom’s celebration of life so our time was very busy with family and friends. Clean and comfortable
We were in the area visiting family and this was a great home base for us. The location was ideal as our family is in Shutesbury and we enjoyed walking down to Puffer's Pond and quick access to Shutesbury, Hadley, Northampton, and Amherst. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We will stay here again next summer if we can!

Great basement type stay
This place is downstairs and basement type living with small upper windows in the main bedroom. Clean. Owner was available for anything we needed. Kitchen is equipped with what you need to cook meals and a Keurig. Extra bedroom is small without windows but worked for my teenage daughter. Bathroom is spacious. Would stay here again when visiting UMass.
