Very clean, comfortable and convenient cabin condo with streamside access. The wood-burning stove was a plus. The host Ian was super accessible and accommodating. Would love to come again.

I'd like to say BIG thank you to Ian! He is very friendly and attentive host! It was very comfortable to communicate with him and solve any encountered problems. Our young ones enjoy very much the trail to the creek and good viewing point at the end of it. Oh, and hummingbird, which we could watch right from the window!

I wish I could give this property more than five stars. The sound of the nearby stream lulling us to sleep at night was a dream come true. Everything was perfect except for a bit of trouble we had with our car halfway through our stay, but the host, Ian, absolutely went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out with that. He is truly an amazing host! Thank you, Ian!

Given the abundance of positive reviews, I was looking forward to my stay at Streamside, and also curious about how well the experience might match up to my expectations. I can only say that from the call of the first rose breasted grosbeak to the sound of the raging creek (filled by the same storm that dumped all that rain on Vermont) I was never once disappointed. After a day of repeatedly visiting the creek, it was fun to come back and work on my laptop at an authentic diner table and seat. Everything is clean and designed for ease of use. The propane grill is right outside your door and then it is a super short walk down to a sitting area/patio beside a freshet that leads into the creek beside the super shady and private backyard, and then only about 50 more paces across a tiny quaint footbridge to the banks of the lovely Esopus Creek. No picture can depict what a wonderful property this is or how restorative it is to hang out by the water in these mountains. The creek is ideal for a cooling-off wallow and there are comfortable chairs right there along the shore. The hosts are as accommodating as they are intelligent and kind. The place was busy with birds during my stay- I was happy to see American Redstart, Ruby Throated Hummingbird, Northern Waterthrush, Veery and Black Throated Blue Warbler among many others. So In the end does this experience live up to the sterling reviews? No. The experience is far better. Thank you for a terrific experience.

The property is a little way from the town but has all you need to self cater. It was a comfortable place to stay with the bonus of a little spot on the river where you can soak! * there was no AC (which was listed in description) so it was a little hot, that was the only drawback.
