About this villa rental

Nestled in Dubrovnik-Neretva County, this charming villa for $661 per night is a great option for your next trip. Extremely comfortable holiday home for up to 8 people on a large plot of land on a hillside, almost in a secluded location. The house is located about 50 m from the sea, a little higher with an enchanting view over the outer bay of Vela Luka on the island of Korčula. The plot of over 5000sqm is overgrown with olive trees and extends in terraces to the sea. The wonderful sunset can be enjoyed from various terraces. The house was newly built in 2014/2015 and furnished to a high standard. Outside there is also another covered bed for romantic evenings. There is direct access to the sea via a stone staircase to a private bay (2 houses). At the sea there is a bathing platform with steps in the sea and a small pebble beach.

Our group of three couples loved staying at this beautiful villa. Everyday was filled with sunshine and beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. We hiked and biked on the quiet roads, swam in the sea and pool, enjoyed sunsets on the deck with glasses of wine. A short drive into Vela Luka for dinner at a couple dockside restaurants was great too. Dina, our host, was available for anything we needed. It was a truly amazing vacation that we will remember always.

Those professional pictures that seem almost too good to be true are a complete and accurate representation of this gorgeous property. This lovely house was spotless and the perfect place to enjoy a quiet week of swimming, paddleboarding, biking, hiking and relaxing, all within an easy drive of everything on the island. We had a tremendous time, and would recommend this property (and its host and local contact!) to anyone.

By far the best place we've ever stayed at. It's kinda hard to beat when your backyard is the Adriatic Sea for a week. That plus the remoteness of the location (although only a few minutes drive from Vela Luka) made for the perfect, quiet getaway. Amenities were great (e.g. grill, espresso machine, gas stove). Pool was amazing. Views outstanding. oh....and the sunsets! We hope to return!

The house is just incredible ! It s a hidden gem, close to Vela Luka. Don t think about doing something during your stay, you don t need it really. The house, the location give you everything. 50 stairs to the sea which is so green/blue, your only desire will be to stay there all day with a great book.. perfect holidays enjoying the sun, the sea and the peaceful surroundings.. Maison tres propre, fonctionnelle, pratique, decoree avec bon gout, bonne literie, tres lumineuse grace aux baies vitrees, bref bien mieux que sur les photos.. merci Andreas et Bettina se nous avoir autoriser a profiter de votre paradis !!

Sunset View bietet die beste Möglichkeit, auf Korcula einen wunderbaren, erholsamen Urlaub zu verleben. Das Haus liegt wunderschön in einem Olivenhain, das Meer ist nur ein paar Stufen entfernt, die Ausstattung ist fantastisch. Hier abends den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen, ist ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis.

Weve absolutely loved loved our stay at this gorgeous property. It´s tucked away about 5 km from Vela Luka with very few homes around for relaxation and tranquility. The home is absolutely gorgeous many places to relax and unwind. There are so many spaces to relax and unwind: multiple balconies, decks, an outdoor bed as well as access to a private beach. The private beach is just down from the house and is only shared with one neighbor - we had it all to ourselves for our whole 5 days stay. The hosts have thought of everything and even have six bicycles and two stand up paddleboards. This home currently runs on solar and does not have air conditioning as the city has not extended electric to the area but AC and an additional outdoor pool are planned over the next year or so. It did not bother us as there is plenty of breeze and calming ocean sounds to cool off at night. We´ve had an amazing, relaxing stay, highly recommend this and can´t wait to return again!

Das Haus liegt wunderbar über dem Meer. Das Meer war wunderschön blau, ruhig und warm. Der Name "Sunset View" passt perfekt: die Sonnenuntergänge sind phänomenal! Wir waren im August dort und da ist es in dieser Gegend natürlich gut warm; und abends musste mit Schnaken gerechnet werden. Die Ausstattung des Hauses (Grill, Kühlschrank, ...) ist ausgezeichnet. Die Entfernung nach Vela Luka (zum Einkaufen etc.) liess sich gut mit dem Fahrrad bewältigen. Und auch ein Taxi konnte problemlos geordert werden.

Wer Ruhe sucht und bei herrlichstem Blick auf unterschiedlichen Terrassen entspannen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die kleine Bucht lädt zum Schwimmen, Schnorcheln und Sonnenbaden ein. Ein phantastischer Ort, der seinen Namen zurecht trägt. Hoffentlich waren wir nicht zum letzten mal dort. :-)

Inmitten eines Olivenhains oberhalb des Meers kann man den Alltag schnell hinter sich lassen. Wenn das Meer nicht ständig locken würde, könnte man auch den ganzen Tag auf den diversen Terrassen verbringen und bis zum Sonnenuntergang warten, der mit beständiger Verlässlichkeit eine großartige Atmosphäre für den Sundwowner bietet. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und bietet bequem Platz für acht Leute - mehr kann man von einem Ferienhaus nicht erwarten.

Beeindruckend!

Wir waren mit zwei Familien, 4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder, dort und wurden in ein beeindruckendes, großzügig gebautes Haus eingewiesen. Das Panorama ist wirklich phantastisch, die Wohnzimer-Fensterfront lässt sich komplett öffnen und es entsteht eine riesige Terasse auf der sich Abends toll sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang beobachten lässt. Das Haus ist sehr schön geschnitten, 8 Personen haben locker Platz und es findet jeder ´sein´ Plätzchen, um zu entspanen, ohne den anderen zu stören. Über eine Treppe lässt sich das Wasser erreichen, so dass man in einer eigenen kleinen Bucht (teilt man sich mit dem Nachbarhaus), Zeit verbringen kann. Wir waren mit eigenem Boot dort; für das Abstellen des Trailers wurde vor Ort gesorgt, das Boot kann in der Bucht festgemacht werden (kein Steg, Muringleine). Vor Ort findet sich ein Kran mit sehr netter Bedienung und eine Rampe zum Slippen, die aber viel Nerven erfordert, da man mit ihrer Nutzung die Hauptstraße sperrt. - Wir haben davon abgesehen und lieber den Kran genutzt, der für einen Daycruiser 300 Kuna kostete. Die Autos stehen in einer Doppelgarage am Haus, der Trailer wurde im Ort geparkt. Der Ort bietet alles, was das Leben angenehm macht. Restaurants, Supermärkte, Tankstelle (auch für das Boot), Souvenirs, Bäcker... Allerdings muss man für Besorgungen fahren, das Haus liegt ca. 4km außerhalb des Ortes, was die Lage aber auch landschaftlich und von der Höhe der Lage her, attraktiv macht. Bis hierhin klare 5 Sterne! - Was allerdings gestört hat, war die Tatsache, dass das Haus (bis jetzt) nicht klimatisiert ist! Zwar ist in der Beschreibung auch keine Klimaanlage angegeben, die hielten wir aber bei diesem Preis für selbstverständlich. Dieser Sommer ist sehr heiß und das Haus kühlt nachts kaum ab, an Schlaf kaum zu denken. Als wir diesen Punkt reklamierten, teilte der Eigentümer mit, dass der öffentliche Stromzugang noch nicht fertig sei und die Solarzellen, samt Generator, den Betrieb einer Klimaanlage nicht möglich macht. Das ist plausibel, half uns aber vor Ort nicht mehr. Man sollte das wissen, denn je nach Lage des Zimmers waren die Nächte sehr unangenehm. Die Betreuung vor Ort war zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit! Wenn eine Klimaanlage denn dann eingebaut wurde (zumindest für die Schlafzimmer), ein Topp-Domizil!

Top gepflegtes, super modern, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes, umweltfreundliches Haus im weitläufigen Olivenhain mit viel Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und wunderschöner Aussicht von allen Zimmern. Sehr ruhige Privatbucht mit glasklarem Wasser, genial zum Schnorcheln und Boot anlegen. Überdurchschnittlich freundliche Betreuung durch die Vermieter und der Betreuerin vor Ort! Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, Pizzeria Alfa und Bootsverleih "velalukarent" in Vela Luka sehr zu empfehlen. Wir, 6 Erwachsene (2/50 Jahre und 4/20-23 Jahre) verbrachten unseren entspanntesten Familienurlaub und werden weitere dort verbringen!

Traumhaftes, äußerst gepflegtes Anwesen; super nette Vermieter; kristallklare Bucht mit direktem Blick auf die vorgelagerte Insel; sehr stilvoll eingerichtet mit Sinn fürs Detail; alter Olivenbaumbestand wurde erhalten und Gartenanlage mit hübschen Pflanzen sinnvoll ergänzt; kommen gerne nächstes Jahr wieder!
