Roomy three bedroom family home that comfortably sleeps eight. Only minutes walk to town this two story, fully furnished home has large open plan living area that flows onto a sun drenched deck. There is even a large section for the kids to play on. Whether your visiting Taupo for one of the many events the town hosts, the world famous trout fishing, skiing on the nearby mountains or any other of the hundreds of activities Taupo has to offer then this modern holiday home is the answer to your holiday accommodation needs.

A classic Bach in a great location in Taupo. An easy walk (5/10 mins) into town or a 2 minute drive.The photos are accurate - three good sized bedrooms and a large entertainment area with wrap around deck.Good water pressure in the shower (through the garage) in particular.No heat pumps but 3 X space heaters provided which were more than suitable even in June for the various bedrooms.Smooth communication with Greg. Would stay again.

The host’s were very accomodating with our needs. We arrived to a clean and comfortable house with beautiful views and easy access to the town centre. Would definitely stay again.

We found the house very good value for money. The house was very spacious, beds were comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The location was within walking distance to town. We would return and do recommend it for families. Good communication from Greg the host.

Positives:-Host contact was excellent and responsive. -Affordable accommodation.-Very close and handy to town centre.-Tidy and clean (considering its condition).-Nice open plan kitchen and dining for large groups.Negatives.-The premises is in need of a LOT of maintenance. -The main bedroom bed needs repair.-one of the bunks was super soft and saggy (we moved the mattress to the floor as a result).-Wardrobe handle fell off-Downstairs toilet cistern button gets stuck. -Musty smelling bedrooms (particularly when it rains)- leaky home?-The TV didn’t work despite following instructions (and trying other batteries).-A hot tap washer failed and wouldn’t turn off and needed an emergency call-out plumber half way through our stay (host was wonderful at actioning this).-Rotten timber and trims in house wet areas and entrance (entire door step is a rotten loose trip hazard).On closer inspection, many of these were reported in previous reviews. Staying there, it just felt like the owner didn’t care about the property at all as there was no evidence of any recent preventative maintenance (the door step was a shocker).It was a bit disappointing as I’d been looking forward to the visit all year.
