B&B D'AMICO is in a good central location of Cava, everything is within walking distance and the train station is also within easy walking distance to get to and from all the other local tourist attractions, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Salerno, Amalfi, etc. Massimo the host is very friendly, he is very good good at communicating with you, if you do need to contact him by WhatsApp, he replies in good time.
Italian style breakfast (Coffee and Croissant style / pastry) is provided, directly across the road at a typical Italian local coffee bar where the staff are also really friendly and welcoming.
The kitchen in B&B D'AMICO is fairly well equipped with a coffee maker pod machine, however a tea kettle would have been a good addition as not all visitors drink coffee all the time (us brits like our tea) so we had to boil water in a saucepan which is not ideal when trying to pour into a cup it can dangerous as it is easily spilt, I think though that if Massimo was asked he would have gone out and bought and provided one as he is tries to keep his guests welcome and happy.
Be aware though that the kitchen and dining table is shared with the occupants of the other rental room so be aware of that, we were lucky as the other room was not occupied for the majority of our stay, it is and not a problem if you like to socialise and do not mind sharing the kitchen facilities like the fridge and cooker / hob. Massimo provides a starter lot of coffee pods and still and sparkling water stored in the fridge so that is also a very good and welcoming touch by the host.
All that is needed here at B&B D'AMICO, as other guests have also recommended, is a few more items of furniture in the bedrooms, the obvious one is a dressing table! Ladies be aware of this as you will likely struggle!
The place needs a deep clean and a lick of paint everywhere, it could benefit with a woman's touch and to give him truthful advise on how to make it more homely - If you do this Massimo, your on to a 'No Brainer' place for guest coming to Cava to stay, If I still lived in Italy we would help you renovate it, it would not take long or cost much money to do it either!

Worked well for our stay for one night but we definitely did not realise it was a shared communism area. This is noted in the description but we missed it!
