About this house rental
Check out the cool lighting and the great big living room with couches that could seat an army. This is your main gathering space where everyone can come together to watch TV, play some board games, and plot out your path to the next giant roller coaster. You'll all enjoy socializing here as you anticipate the meal the home cook is serving up for you. The resident chef will surely appreciate the stainless steel appliances and plenty of granite counter space for meal prep. There's also a three-seat breakfast bar for casual bites. An eight-person dining table is available for the entire group. The fun doesn't have to end at the theme parks. After dinner, grab a buddy and head to the upper floor loft equipped with a giant wall Scrabble board, an air hockey table, and a flat-screen TV.
Bedtime means everyone will be wishing upon a star in well-appointed bedrooms with plush bedding, flat-screen TVs, and attached baths featuring dual sinks and large showers. Two Queen suites, plus a King and bunk-bed room (the latter inspired by everyone's favorite animated mouse), can sleep up to eight comfortably. In the morning, the family will enjoy the added luxury of your very own private swimming pool and spillover spa right outside the patio doors. Overall the house was ok and had everything we needed/wanted (mainly a private pool and kitchen). However there were several downsides that I wish I had been aware of. While everything was cleaned and orderly, you can tell the property has had lots of guests/usage as the carpet is a bit worn, shower curtains had some mold and toilets smelled like public cleaner, etc. We were a bit disappointed with the pool & patio setup, as you have to push a button every time you open the patio door in order to prevent a harsh alarm from sounding, and if you don't close the door quickly enough it will go off; there was no option to just have the screen door closed between the kitchen and patio. The kitchen is equipped with all the cookware, plates, and utensils you may need, but be aware that basic food such as salt/pepper, cooking oil, etc is not provided. The main clubhouse and waterpark were a nice feature when we weren't visiting parks and wanted something more than just our private outdoor pool.
So overall the home fit our needs, but we will probably look at other options when we return for our next visit.
