About this cottage rental
This cottage is truly for the discriminating vacationer, very romantic and beautifully appointed. As you walk in you will notice a mosaic inlaid with flip flops... so inviting. The open floor plan feels spacious with volume ceilings throughout and is oh so comfortable. The living room has two leather couches that are right in front of the gas fireplace...bring on the ambiance! The living room also features a large flat screen TV with both HDTV and Firestick service. The kitchen is well appointed with a lot of counter space that won't disappoint anyone who loves to cook. We have both a Weber charcoal grill and a Weber gas grill for our guests to use. We have also tucked in a full size washer and dryer. The bedroom suite is very spacious with a cathedral ceiling and has a very comfortable king size bed, 2 night tables, 2 dressers, a flat screen TV, and a large walk-in closet. The full bath is to die for with a whirlpool and both indoor and outdoor showers. This home is quality built with upgraded textures including oak floors, tumble marble, & limestone accents. Unlike many Vineyard rentals, we have added central air and a garage (for those who may bring their convertible, or motorcycle). The garage also provides a great covered spot for your bicycles which we strongly encourage you to bring as we are located just off the bike path. Two people maximum, no pets, & non-smokers only, as we try to keep this property super clean and allergen free. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach blanket and many more conveniences are included. Perfectly located approximately 1 mile from town (Edgartown) & 1 mile to South Beach, right off the bike path. Relax on the front porch in a pair of Adirondack chairs or flex your muscles at our private basketball court which doubles as a pickleball court. Positively immaculate. We never rent our main house so my family is in tune with your enjoyment of the property. Once you rent this gem it will be hard to go anywhere else! PS: Currently all VTA (Vineyard Transit Authority) buses are free until 9/30/25. So if you don’t wish to take your car over, you can easily get around. Busses also have bike racks on the front so you can ride to another town and bike around it.

Property was immaculate! Super clean and In excellent condition ! Definitely the nicest Place In terms of condition we have stayed with VRBO. The grounds were beautiful too.Large grass area containing nice pickleballCourt. Easy 1 mi commute toEdgartown. We had E bikes , it took about 4 min to town. Then we used UBER a few times. About 10 each way. (In late May)Karen was available by phone always and was there at main house the last couple days . There is also a garage to keep a car or bikes in .I would highly recommend this rental to any couple who appreciates the details and is willing to put some cleaning effort in the day of departure as all laundry , dishes etc are expected to be done and put away upon Departure.

Karen's guest cottage was the perfect respite for my husband and I for a week in early October. The cottage was super clean, comfortable and a great location; quick and easy into the towns, beaches and up-island. Karen was so welcoming and easy to work with, and we loved the pickle ball court (new addition!). Strongly recommend!
