Newly constructed cape home abutting a saltwater tidal creek offering high tide access to Cape Cod Bay. This charming new two story 1-2 bedroom home with extra sleeping area offers the perfect amount of space for two couples, a small family, or a group of friends. Gas fire-placed living & dinning area has an open floor plan with beautiful oak flooring, large Anderson windows w/custom shades, and central A/C. The sun-room's cathedral ceiling and fan, separate entrance, and pocket door makes it the ideal guest bedroom. The queen temperpedic mattress is surprisingly comfortable and also found on the living room fold out couch that provides an extra sleeping area. The first floor 1/2 bath and outdoor shower are also helpful for guests. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen with all new appliances, granite counter tops, upgraded cabinetry, gas cooking, and outdoor BBQ provide the prefect apres' beach retreat. The dining table sits 4 with room for 3 at the fold up coffee table. The second level master bedroom suite has a queen bed, spacious closet, dresser, wall-to-wall carpeting, A/C, and a 32' HD TV for your pleasure. The large master bath has a granite double vanity, BOSCH washer and dryer, and shower. Wonderful home, location and stay. So many things to do so close by. Homeowner was very helpful in best things to do and communicating. He took extra time to get things ready so the kids could ride bikes. Would absolutely go back!!

We LOVED our week long stay and plan on returning. The house was perfect for the three of us - two adults and one 7-year-old - clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We really appreciated having central AC, gas fireplace, laundry, and a dishwasher during our vacation. The location is amazing - right next to the wildlife sanctuary (worth visiting!), easy access to both bay and ocean beaches, and also close enough for day trips to Provincetown (whale watching is worth the drive and boat trip!). Chris and Amy are great hosts - they are communicative and made sure that we had what we needed in the house.

Mid-October Stay
I can mainly reiterate what so many others say. This is a lovely property with a well-designed layout in a quiet neighborhood. The home is nicely appointed and spotless. Appliances are up-to-date and the heating/cooling system highly responsive. The hosts do a first-rate job with informative communications and quick responses to inquiries. There is excellent access to beaches both on Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic. The bakery at PB Boulangerie – 4–5 minutes by car – is superb of its kind (their bistro was closed, owing to covid-related staffing problems, at the time of our visit). There are interesting good restaurants to explore, even off-season.

Lovely cottage
We greatly enjoyed our week-long stay at this gem of a house overlooking the lovely woods and salt marsh. It was a perfect size for my husband and me, and the extra room with the daybed proved to be a blessing when our daughter surprised us with a brief visit to help celebrate her dad’s birthday. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit the Cape!

The setting is beautiful, with the view to the marsh. When we were indoors, we felt very relaxed and loved the feel of the house (which is immaculate) and enjoyed looking at the artwork and browsing the collection of Cape and nature-focused books. We loved kayaking from the house at high tide through the marsh, listening to the birds while lying on the hammock, eating at the patio surrounded by tall grasses. It's really a great location, about 15 minutes south of the main street of beautiful Wellfleet and so close to the beaches--a favorite thing to do was order food from Block and Tackle just up the road and drive 6 minutes to Sunken Meadow Beach to catch the sunset. We cooked as well--it was nice to find decent knives and pots/pans and lovely dishware. We used one of the bikes a couple of times although Rte. 6 was a bit nerve-wracking to cross in order to get to the bike trail--but definitely doable. Wellfleet and the surrounding towns take Covid-19 very seriously, everyone wore masks and respected social distancing, so it felt like a safe place to enjoy time away from home. Chris provided great suggestions for things to do in the area and was a good communicator. We'd highly recommend this home!

Cozy and comfortable
Property is as described. Chris was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay - even alerting us to whale sightings in the area. The house is small but cozy and met all of our needs. Location was very convenient to many sights, beaches, ponds and all Wellfleet has to offer.

AMAZING STAY!
My son and I traveled at the last minute to this home for a much needed post-COVID respite. From the inception both Chris and Amy were very helpful in accommodating any inquiries. Their home is beautiful - the location, the quality, the furnishings, comfort and such gorgeous tranquility overlooking the marsh. Chris was most accommodating in providing a smaller bike for my son, and giving us information of how to get to the bike path. The restaurant recommendations were also spot on. Not to mention, Chris and Amy were just lovely real people!! I honestly cannot say enough and would encourage anyone to book this property. I am already planning when to return next. It was convenient to both the ocean and bay beaches; loved the outdoor shower; close proximity to Ptown and Brewster so we easily frequented our usual Cape spots. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!!!!

Amy and Chris do a wonderful job of making their guests feel at home. From the beautiful flowers to the many amenities our stay was perfect! The house is located in a convenient location and a quiet neighborhood. Chris provided tons of information regarding fishing and hikes in the area. His knowledge was greatly appreciated! A binder at the house contains a wealth of information about things to do in the area as well. We had a wonderful stay at The New Era!

Great location!
The cottage was amazing! The location was serene and access to some of the best beaches on the East Coast. I grew up going to Wellfleet every summer for the past 50 years. My grandfather had a home not to far from this cottage. It was great to travel about the places I remember as child and all through my early 20's. It is by far the best part of Cape Cod!

This was a super rental- from check in to check out- very comfortable. Clean, well-appointed home where we were close to beaches and restaurants but had a quiet place which became our retreat. This is a quality rental with lovely plantings and neighborhood.

Great home in a great location
What an amazing location; right off route 6, super quiet and right in the middle of the best the cape has to offer. Home was very clean with all the amenities, the hammock was the perfect spot to nap after completing the PMC and the outdoor shower had an amazing view of the water while still providing privacy.

A little slice of heaven
Janey and I spent 4 days here to celebrate an anniversary and really loved it. The house is new, super clean, and doesn't have that musty feeling a lot of older rentals seem to have on the Cape. It has great touches everywhere you look. The owners thought of everything: the appliances are new, the kitchen is fully appointed, washing machine and washer/dryer. The bed is super comfortable. There are nice cozy spots to hang out both inside and out overlooking the marsh. We particularly liked the location. Although it is one minute from route 6 it is incredibly quiet. The Cape Cod bike trail is very close as are several great beaches. Welfleet center is a few minutes up the road and Provincetown is just 25 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants around. PB Boulangerie and Blue Willow bakeries are close by (bike-able). We loved Ceraldi in Welfleet and really enjoyed The Mews in P-Town. Many other options available.

This house is great. Clean, bright, airy, modern amenities, and A/C was welcome during hot, humid week on the Cape. Close to great restaurants and beaches. Nice neighborhood for walking/running and close to bike trail. House is perfect for 4 adults max, says sleeps six, but not 6 adults--queen day bed is really best suited for 1 adult and same for queen sofa bed in main living area. Owners were great with communication and house was lovely for our family vacation in Wellfleet. Loved this VRBO.

Nice overall
We enjoyed our stay here. A beautiful view from the back of the house and convenient drive to beaches. There were a few issues with housekeeping. The bikes are not in working order.

A wonderful house!
Look no further if you are looking for a peaceful spot on the Cape. This modern house was a fantastic find, nestled in a VERY quiet and interesting neighborhood. We loved the central AC, the bikes, the outdoor grill and the updated kitchen. We took the short cut mentioned by another reviewer to the Marconi beach, and it only took about 15 minutes on bike. It was also an easy bike ride to Wellfleet and north Eastham. Fresh baguettes at PB Boulangerie is not to be missed. Would have preferred the TV in the living room and some curtains in the upstairs bedroom, but that is a matter of personal preference. Highly recommended for a couple - we are already booked for next year.

The property is beautifully decorated, and has just about everything you could ever need. We drove down to the Wellfleet Market to get food for the week(a little pricy, bring food with you from home if you want to save a little money). The house is pretty well equipped with spices, oils, and condiments. Everything is very clean with all new appliances.
My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed the little get-away. We are in love with Marconi beach. It is just a 3 mile bike ride away. (bring a bike lock and helmets) The beach is incredible. Very sandy, great waves, and huge sand bars during low tide. The house is also very close to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. A great bike trail that runs for 22 miles.
We went to Van Rensselaer's Restaurant one night for dinner which was very good, and if you arrive early(between 4:00 - 5:30) they have early bird specials. For breakfast, I would highly recommend the french bakery, PB Boulangerie Bistro. They have the most amazing croissants ever!
Would definitely recommend this house to other couples, no matter what age, and families with older children. One tip: it can sleep 6 but 6 adults would be a little cramped. 2 couples would be comfortable here. The sun room has a pullout couch with a sliding door that becomes the second bedroom and the couch in the living room is also a fold out.

My family and I felt right at home in this extremely clean, comfortable, modern and well-appointed home. The scenery surrounding this home is peaceful and beautiful with lots of trees and marsh. We would definately rent this home again for future Cape Cod vacations.

We rented for the week of July 4th and loved this house. We were welcomed by a warm note from the owners along with a bottle of wine. It's an incredibly peaceful setting that looks out onto the marshland estuaries adjacent to the Audubon. The home was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-appointed with everything we could have possibly needed for a great vacation - including central air (It was hot!). You can tell the owners put a lot of love and care into building and maintaining it. Gorgeous gardens. Just an all around great house.
