We loved staying at this house! It was nicely decorated, the beds are comfy and the area is perfect! So many restaurants and other retail places. Cute little community. Will stay again.

Had a hard time finding the house. Went to 9_6 Sea l and and should gave been 96 Old Sea Lane. Stairs to upstairs had only a half railing. We are seniors and needed a hand rail. Also on ly 1 and 1 half bath. Advertised as 2 and 1/2 bath. Bedrooms were tight . D ownstairs was lovely.

This property was even better than the photos. We would highly recommend it. Even with six of us all in upstair bedrooms, we didn't have issues with noise. The decor was really lovely. The beach was close and the neighbors friendly. I would be certain to bring enough towels and toiletries though. The owner was responsive and fair. We had to make some changes and Patti was on top of it all. Thanks Patti for a lovely home in which to spend our long weekend. We highly recommend your property. Maria Sabia

Wonderful house for our mini-vacation
My family and I had a great stay at this property. Two outdoor eating areas and two dining tables was perfect for everyone to spread out on! I didn’t realize the rooms with twin beds also had pop up trundles so that was exciting. We enjoyed multiple walks down to the beaches and had a lot of fun walking through the water during low tides. My two little kids had a lot of fun on the mini playground/ swings at the beach as well. It was a great stay for our trip to see Thomas the Train nearby. The neighbors were also so friendly!

Beautiful, Quaint, & Cozy!
We had a super busy graduation weekend and my husband and I weren't at the house much unfortunately, but when we were, it was lovely and soooo relaxing. However, my parents spent quite a bit of time there and really enjoyed themselves as well. The house seemed clean and what we expected , the beds and other furniture were comfortable and the house was nicely decorated. Our only problems were : cobwebs in the upstairs bedrooms,(I’m scared to death of spiders) dust under the beds, sticky refrigerator shelf’s, and no bathtub for a small child( maybe the bathtub was our over looking details).

Beautiful home in an inviting, peaceful neighborhood.
We had a wonderful stay in this Old Saybrook home. Everything you need was included. The walk to the beach was minutes away but also had a pass to park the car to bring all necessities. The two beaches were perfect for lounging in floats and relaxing. Patti was an incredible host, always available and quick with responses if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Beach Home
My friend and I were looking for A relaxing beach getaway in old Saybrook, and we were not disappointed!!
This home was spectacular, clean inviting and

We had a particularly hot week, and there were air conditioners and fans in every room in the house which did the job perfectly!
There was a back deck off the kitchen where we enjoyed coffee in the morning, And a sizable outdoor patio In the midst of beautiful landscaping! The living room was spacious and comfortable, two dining areas and another sitting area!
Four bedrooms with enough to accommodate a family , And a well-stocked kitchen with an amazing icemaker! The outdoor shower was beautifully done and the perfect ending to a day at the beach ,, ( I never even used the indoor shower!)
Being an experienced renter I am providing honest feedback and noting the one thing was the small washer dryer combination, it was a bit confusing and three or four towels was about the limit per load, I’m usually one to pack a little lighter and do laundry as opposed to being faced with it when I get home ,but we got by fine for our short stay.
Also, I am an active person so The stairs to enter and exit the home and the stairs to the bedrooms were not a bother to me, May be a challenge for someone else.
The house was perfectly situated with a five minute drive to whatever you might have needed at a store , restaurant or an ice cream treat !
It was a Short walk to a beautiful beach, watching the boats come in and out was so relaxing !
There were also two other beaches within a five minute drive that were so peaceful!
This particular beach community was so welcoming with every passerby greeting each other, next door neighbors were amazing making you feel as if they were your neighbors as well!
Patti, the owner , Was constantly available every time I reached out before and during our stay and never made us feel like we were bothering her!.. I have rented peoples homes and condos twice a year for the past 30 years , and I can honestly say , this by far was The easiest and most pleasant experience in the most beautiful home! All these factors combined provided us with a stress-free and relaxed atmosphere, Exactly what you’re looking for On a vacation!!

Perfect Location
We had absolutely everything we needed to make this weekend memorable. Although the weather did not cooperate, that did not matter. The fact we had our family together at a location that means so much to us was just what we needed. The house was perfect for our party of eight. Very clean and nicely decorated. Wish we didn’t have to leave. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, comfortable beach home with all the amenities you could ever want-and more!
This home is beautiful, immaculately clean and well-maintained. There is ample room to eat, comfortable couches in the living room, and a second sitting & dining area towards the front of the house. There is also a large outdoor dining table, a basketball hoop in the driveway, and an amazing outdoor shower. All the amenities, including the kitchenware, appliances and electronics are top-of-the-line. The house is situated in a lovely beach community with friendly neighbors. There are two beaches-a smaller one with a large sandbar at low tide, a gazebo, picnic table, swings, a small playground and grassy area to play catch or wiffle ball. There is also a jetty with plenty of rocks for crabbing or exploring. The second beach is perfect for older children and adults. You can walk or drive to either beach. The house is close to restaurants, shopping, and ice cream. What more could you want from a beach house!? I would rent again just for the automatic ice-maker and the outdoor shower! Communication with the owner and property manager was great. I hope to rent again.

Home away from home
The home was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was very close to all activities our family was participating in. Grocery stores close as well as restaurant's. Nice close stroll to the beach to see amazing sunrise's and sunset's.

My 3 friends and I stayed for a long weekend at this house and it was great! The owner was very responsive to all my messages and mindful of COVID-19 travel restrictions ahead of the trip. Check in process was easy and clear!

Overall great vacation
The home is beautiful and very well appointed. The living space was nice to hang out with our friends and play games. The outside space was great to grill at night and drink coffee in the morning while watching everyone on their morning walks.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay
Please take everything wonderful people have said about staying here, from Patti to the home itself, and double it. I absolutely agree with one person who said that the pictures don't do the house justice. You can't appreciate how great a place it is until you see it yourself. You can see how much Patti loves her home by the amazing attention to detail and quality of everything in the home from beautiful furniture, great mattresses, excellent kitchen ware, lovely decorations etc etc. This does not feel like a rental home at all. I cannot recommend this home enough!

Hidden Gem
Patti was very easy to work with. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Everything was within a short driving distance. We loved having a playground on the beach for the little ones and walked there every day! Previous reviews state there's only two AC units upstairs, there are now 4 units.

The pictures and description don’t do this home justice! Everything was very clean , comfortable and welcoming! We were especially grateful to arrive to the air conditioners already running on such a hot day! The beach and the neighborhood are amazing! And Patti was fantastic to work with!
