About this cottage rental
Come nestle yourself in this like brand new colonial with farmer's porch. Enjoy the view of the pond while sitting on the porch having your morning coffee while reading the daily paper. Or take a walk along the abutting nature trails which lead along the pond and abut a golf course and conservation land. Enjoy a canoe ride and fishing on the pond or one may wish to swim to the beach on the other side. In season blueberry picking and catching polliwogs are a favorite. Located near 6A there are many fine restaurants to enjoy as well as the famous Cape Playhouse and Scargo Tower. Enjoy golfing, antique shops, shopping and the quaint village of Dennis with its many many beaches. We are on the bayside and favoring Mayflower Beach as a family favorite, Corporation Beach for its breathtaking sunsets.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located house. There were trails just outside and beaches a short drive away. The house was very clean, supplied with everything we needed, and nicely decorated in a Cape theme. Thanks Louise!

This is a great spot to enjoy the area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and there is plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend!

The Cape is best in winter in my opinion and places like this are perfect to take advantage of the off-season. Everything was as advertised and we were very happy with our stay!

We chose Louise’s home because of it’s close proximity to our family. Besides the convenient location, we loved the access to all of the trails, which were literally in the backyard. The neighborhood was quiet but close to all of our favorite Cape destinations. The house was clean and fully stocked. We loved how easy it was to use the fireplace in the living room and spent our downtime cozied up with games or books. We would love to return and would highly recommend.

The Seagulls Nest is a stunning property that made us feel right at home, and perfect for families. Everything we needed for a baby and toddler, and ourselves, was there. Great location in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

The home is in a quaint neighborhood, quiet and with a wooded backyard. The trails behind the home are easily accessible, but sandy, winding, and with tree roots, easy to get lost and great for exploring. Location is perfect for visiting the island, beaches, and other cities. Nice local food market nearby and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking in.
We think the Covid restrictions are perhaps outdated as host asks that we wash, dry and put away towels upon checkout, sweep and start the bed linens. The laundry is in an unfinished, cold basement, with wooden steps, so may be uncomfortable for some. Upon entry, the house smelled a bit “closed up”, and the decor is somewhat dated, but overall we were very comfortable and had a great stay! Thank you, Louise.

First time to Cape Cod and we were not disappointed. This VRBO is very cute and just what we needed/wanted. Very large TV, great location and in a lovely neighborhood. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We met Louise when we got there She and her husband are lovely The home was very nice and comfortable We took trips to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard unfortunately no time to hike on the trail just by the house or see the lake I would definitely recommend this home

We couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay for my cousins wedding. Central to everyplace we needed to be, quiet, and had anything we could possibly need.
Would love to come back for a longer visit sometime.

The home was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Although, we didn’t need the beach supplies available to us, it was nice to see that those were there.The lake and walking trail nearby were peaceful and we thought the location was convenient for checking out the different areas of the Cape. We would definitely recommend staying in this home and would do so again. Thank you for having us!

Louise is a great host, she was very responsive when we asked questions around the Internet and was very accommodating.
The house is very quaint, the rooms are not the biggest, but they worked for my wife and I, and another couple. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed.
The two only criticism's we had are: One: the A/C window units were VERY loud, we could not sleep with them on, it was a good thing it was cool enough we didn't need them at night.
The Second was that when we got there, there was wet laundry in the washer and dried towels in the dryer. probably because the dryer took a very long time to dry= even a small load.
If we ever make it back to the cape we will make sure to look for Louise's house again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting the area from the U.K for the first time and found the house to be fantastic; well equipped and a great base to explore the cape. We used the beach buggy, towels and chairs to visit nearby Mayflower Beach. A tip - visit for the sunset, and free parking after 5pm. My only regret is that we only stayed 5 nights.

Everything you'll need for a Cape stay. Plenty of dining options in the area or cook at home either inside or out. All the gear is here as well as beach stuff too. Great property/ location.

The crib was perfect for our infant and it was great to have beach chairs and toys included. We chose the house because of how close it is to Mayflower Beach, but we also got to visit the Chatham Fish Pier to see the seals (hard to get parking in peak season, but we were happy to be there in June.) We also visited the Chatham
Lighthouse and beach across the street, as well as Pirate’s Cove for mini golf in Yarmouth. Also had a nice lunch on the deck of Skippy’s Pier 1. The location is great for anything in the mid Cape area. Nice quiet neighborhood. We would stay again. The outdoor shower was a nice surprise!

A little confusion with the check in process, but a great place that was clean and comfortable. We loved the location and the fire pit and outdoor shower for after the beach. Great place for a good price would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous location so quiet and peaceful, we loved swimming in the pond/lake at the bottom of the road. The house is comfortable and well equipped with beach chairs and toys, games, life jackets, plus full kitchen. We had a great stay and hope to return one day.

The house was adorable. My kids loved their room. Puzzles, board games, beach equipment was all provided. Couldn't imagine a better place to stay with the family.

The seagulls nest had everything we needed and more. Located in the mid cape, we had easy access to the cape cod rail trail, the National Seashore, and bayside beaches. We settled in at night by the fire pit followed by the large tv in the family room. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely return! My mother and I had a wonderful getaway weekend at Seagulls Nest. Louise was so easy to communicate with, the property was exactly what we needed if not more. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking trails and scenic pond. The location is great for accessing 6A and really any other parts of the cape. The house is very clean, updated and stocked with whatever you could think of needing. Louise really has thought of everything. I was pleasantly surprised to see the extra cribs, strollers, highchair, kids toys/books etc. Would love to come back with my husband and two toddlers, the house is perfect for all ages. Thank you again for a great weekend!

This was a very pleasant stay. Opening a new Koopman lumber up the street and staying this close was very convenient. Right next to the pond and walking paths. Can’t wait to come back down and stay here again!

We had a great stay! Seagulls nest had everything a family with young children would need when staying away from home. We all had space to relax during a busy weekend in the Cape and enjoyed the books, puzzles and games available around the house. Check-in was easy and checkout requirements were reasonable. The weather wasnt pleasant so we weren't able to take advantage of the trail or pond area but hope to be back to enjoy them next time!

This property is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a forest in the backyard and trails to explore. The house was very accommodating with everything a person would need. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We had a very enjoyable stay with friends and made some great memories. I would come again.

My husband and 5 y/o spent 2 nights here on our road trip up the coast. It was quiet and my sons favorite spot. The pond and hiking trails are right there and the house has everything you need to feel comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer!
