About this cottage rental
Come nestle yourself in this like brand new colonial with farmer's porch. Enjoy the view of the pond while sitting on the porch having your morning coffee while reading the daily paper. Or take a walk along the abutting nature trails which lead along the pond and abut a golf course and conservation land. Enjoy a canoe ride and fishing on the pond or one may wish to swim to the beach on the other side. In season blueberry picking and catching polliwogs are a favorite. Located near 6A there are many fine restaurants to enjoy as well as the famous Cape Playhouse and Scargo Tower. Enjoy golfing, antique shops, shopping and the quaint village of Dennis with its many many beaches. We are on the bayside and favoring Mayflower Beach as a family favorite, Corporation Beach for its breathtaking sunsets.

PROS
Great location, safe neighbourhood, very clean and well maintained. Good facilities
CONS
Communication via the app was slow. You have to call the host on a US cell when you arrive which I mentioned a few times that I was not able to do as we are from overseas. This wasn't picked up on and we had to find a way to call. Check out is also not straight forward. You are asked to wash and dry all linen and towels and sweep up... thats a lot and not something we have come across in many stays to date elsewhere. There was also construction work underway on the property opposite which the owner stated she knew nothing about (despite living local and the project had been going 5 months....) It wasn't too disruptive as we were out during the day, but we should have been told about this before arrival.we feel.
