Situated in Spring Lake, this attractive house for $275 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome to the Pear Tree Cottage! Our charming, open-concept vacation home is the perfect get-away location for couples and small families. Designed in the "tiny house" trend, but with so much more! With over 1000 square feet that includes two bedrooms, two baths, we are the perfect size and perfectly equipped for your getaway, business travel and offer the best alternative to a Hotel/Motel in the area. We are conveniently located just minutes to Grand Haven and their award winning beaches. In the home you will find: • Two super comfortable bedrooms with luxury linens • A fully stocked kitchen • Two full bathrooms (one bath off the Master Bedroom) • Gas fireplace • Bright, open living room with 50" Smart TV • Whole-house WiFi • Screened in front porch • Super cool loft space for reading or napping! • Full-sized washer and dryer Outside the home you will enjoy our multi-level deck complete a gas grill, covered bar area, and dinette table and chairs. The shaded, fenced in back yard is a great place to relax during the day, and at night enjoy cooking smores or conversation around our fire pit. The home is located in historic Strawberry Pointe area of Spring Lake, Michigan. The area is littered with these small cabins that once served as hunting and fishing vacation homes in the 30 s, 40 s and 50 s. We are walking distance to the Spring Lake public beach, the expansive bike trails of the area and to the Village Baker (a must visit for great baked goods, fantastic brunch and dinners, as well as a great cup of coffee!!) Its a breeze to get to Grand Haven - only a five minute car ride. We are a 35 minute drive to downtown Grand Rapids and a 15 minute drive to Muskegon and Hoffmaster State Park. The area bike paths are 200 yards away, the Spring Lake beach is 1 block away. We are also a short walk to Spring Lake s Central Park, where you will find an expansive playground as well as tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. This was a very cute cabin that was perfect for a weekend getaway with another couple! The cabin is tiny, but every inch of the space has been maximized. We had a very snowy weekend and it was very cozy. One issue that we had was that communication with the property manager was not very timely. We were traveling during a snow storm and when sending message through the VRBO app the responses were not very timely. We did not receive a code to check in ahead of time even after reaching out to the owner via text. We had to call the owner after we were at the door having arrived in the middle of a snow storm and the code that he was giving us over the phone was still not working. Eventually we were able to get it to work, but it was initially concerning. We loved this place, but make sure that the owner sends you all of the check in information including the code.

This rental was very nice. We were impressed with the cleanliness and supply of basic needs for our short stay. The kids enjoyed playing in the loft and it is very close to nice parks that include playground equipment. We would definitely stay here again!

Pear tree was an excellent choice for our stay. Close to restaurants and everything we needed. The house was so cute and it was nice for a couples trip having 2 beds and 2 baths. We rested up for a round of golf at American Dunes. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved the house! It was very cute, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely recommend it to others! Spring Lake is a very nice little community! The sunset on the lake was lovely as well!

Adorable cottage in a great location. Nicely furnished and decorated in a lake theme. Very clean, and owner was quick to respond to any questions that we had. He also left dining suggestions on a chalk board in the cottage which is very helpful when you are new to the area.

The Pear Tree Cottage was just as I expected from the photos. It was clean and very charming, was just enough space, and was in a really nice quiet location. Wish we could have stayed another night!

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!! We absolutely loved the short walking distance to lakeside beach. Very cute and quiet neighborhood and not busy like grand haven and still a short drive to the beach/pier! If you stay, highly recommend Cruise Grand Haven for bike rentals and The Unicorn restaurant. Going to be a staple for us now. Only advice we have, the couch in the basement could use replacing. The leather is shedding and sticks on you. Thank you so much for the great time. <3

Exactly as described and then some. Super cute, great kitchen and well set-up, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, clean and nicely decorated. Very beachy/cottagey vibes. 2 blocks from really cute beach and 1 block from walking trail. 2 blocks from great breakfast/lunch spot and within a mile or so of the town center of Spring Lake. Loved it!

We stayed 4 nights in this very nice Spring Lake home. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from a Spring Lake beach. and a great starting point for all the things we wanted to do in the area. Downtown Grand Haven/Boardwalk area was 8-10 min. drive, GH State park just a little further, Meijers on Rte 31 nearby for groceries. Many things to do in town and nearby, we found 3 bookstores, walked the downtown, drove to Holland. Would have done more with extra time, we'll need a longer stay next time.
Inside is very welcoming with all the wood and wood trim. Layout is great for 2 couples - One bedroom has private bath, the other has bath just outside the door. Some nice touches - soap and shampoo in bath, many extras in the linen closet, 2 washers / 2 dryers, extra room in the basement with TV,
Host keeps a blackboard with lists of local places and activities, we walked the Pier / Lighthouse trail and went to Rosy Mound natural area / beach. The A/C kept us cool for our late-June stay. Kitchen is well equipped, 2 coffee makers, lots of utensils, even some ice cream in the freezer left for us. The host always responded within minutes to our questions. Definitely a 5 star stay.

Nice place, warm feel. Vaulted ceilings make the place feel bigger that just a two bedroom (with also a nice loft) and the space in the basement. To only nit pick a touch, it would’ve been nice to have central air as the window units have a tendency to let in some early morning bird noises! Wife and son slept perfectly. However since I’m a light sleeper, those birds were up and at em in the morning. Overall, beautiful place, functional spaces for family of 2 - 6. Two bathrooms and showers also nice

Close to the beach and great biking trails. Too close to a fairly busy road. Kitchen equipment and pots and pans old. Thorough cleaning of entire house (especially windows) would improve decor. Window a/c units contribute to noise road concerns.

Great communication with owner, clear and concise instructions for check-in and check-out. Super comfortable bed. Near walking trail. Close to water. Cute porch for enjoying coffee in the morning while listening to singing birds. Minutes away from Grand Haven. Fun!

The cottage was perfect for a quick trip. Close enough to the lake for a quick walk to the water. Very clean. I would suggest a shower mat for the hall bathroom. That tub is very slick.

We had one of our best VRBO weekends here! It was a beautiful weekend weather-wise and the location was just perfect for biking and beaching it! We left wishing it was ours. :)
