The property is beautiful and perfect for a weekend away. We loved sitting by the fire and chatting. The only small detail was that there were no towels. I anticipated there wouldn’t be bath towels as we opted to bring our own linens, but didn’t expect that to extend to hand and dish towels as well, just a small heads up for others to note.

This is our third time staying here and we absolutely love the place and location. There was great fishing and kayaking for me. This time I was recuperating from two surgeries, and can think of no other place. I wanted to recuperate then in the sunroom, reading a book overlooking the water we will definitely be back. I can’t wait till I can get into the water and kayak again. She was very easy to get a hold of the police was very clean and had what we needed.

Very nice place to stay. Very comfortable and relaxing. The beach was a great place for early morning coffee. Our kids loved all the toys and swimming in the lake. We look forward to staying again.

We had a lovely time at Sue’s house. The sandy beach and beach toys were perfect for water play with little kids! And somehow the outdoor shower was about as entertaining as the lake. We really appreciated the pack & play and high chair for our little one. We talked a big game about watching a movie on VHS and never did, but enjoyed the nostalgia of looking through videos on shelves. Had a great time with the kayaks, also. Bonus: lots of loon sounds and sightings!

We’ve stayed here 3x now and have enjoyed each stay. Sue is a wonderful host, accommodating and seamless communication. The house has been perfect for our family with small kids. The Sandy beach access is great swimming and play for whole family. We had great success fishing as well. The house has everything you need and is clean and spacious.

Well stocked cottage on Locke Lake. Sandy beach was perfect for young children. Plus assess to other Locke Lake amenities available. Plenty of toys on 'toy porch'. Host was available if needed. Host pleasure to deal with and offered that we could check in few hours earlier if desired. Bring gate for stairway to basement area if you're staying with young children. Plenty of games, puzzles, and movies for entertainment.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was as the description stated. The house feels like visiting your grandma. It was cozy, a bit out dated but that's part of the charm. We enjoyed the sun room and play room. The house was clean and the neighborhood was nice. The charm of the house is being right on the water and hearing the birds and watching the boats. If we stay again, I would forgo renting the linens. I thought the beds would be premade for us, but all the linens are just in a tote for you to make yourself. I would bring my own sheets to save the money.

This is a great property on a wonderful little lake. It was just two of us staying for a long weekend, but there is plenty of room for a larger family. Check-in and check-out were super-easy, and the place had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house! It was very comfortable, had everything we needed, and was very clean. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake. It was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the loons and herons. We also enjoyed using the kayaks! Sue was so helpful and was very quick to answer any questions we had about the property. She provided a notebook with plenty of information about the area such as attractions, shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this property!

Everything exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t have had a more pleasurable experience. The property was everything we had hoped for and more. We can’t wait to go back! The property was super clean and well equipped, we barely had to pack anything besides our clothes. And the 6 hole golf course was an added bonus. Sue was a super host and communicated the entire time, right up until our stay. Have no reservations about booking this property, it was so great that we can’t wait to return!

We had 4 adults and 1 almost 3 year old stay for a week. We had a wonderful time! The host was very responsive from the moment we booked through our stay. The house is exactly as pictured. Generally the house could use an update in decor but it is well stocked and almost everything you need. Bring toilet paper and paper towels. The beach is the shining star! Perfect for little ones and the lake is great for kayaks. Highly recommend this spot!

We very much enjoyed our stay at your house on the lake! It was very spacious for my family and a great location. It was close enough to amenities and far away enough to feel disconnected. The house was very comfortable and made us feel like it was home away from home. To wake up in the morning with the view of the lake and all of the wildlife was amazing, then to have the firepit at night while relaxing was incredible. Thank you so much!!

This is our second year staying at this property. You will love the sandy beach,how immaculately clean the home is, the layout which is perfect for family time and the sunroom overlooking the water where we enjoyed morning coffee. Communication is quick and accommodating with the owner. A/C is cold even during a hot streak. I would recommend bringing extra essentials like tp and paper towels. This year we brought a sharp knife, a large non stick skillet and our own linens instead of the rental ones. These items are similar to many rental properties we have visited - heavily used and in need of replacing. You will love this property and come away so relaxed.

This is the perfect getaway for a quiet vacation. Our grandkids loved the playroom stocked with plenty of toys. The house was clean, well stocked and large enough to spend a few moments in quiet The lake was great to swim in. The only issue was a miscommunication about guests using the pool. Other than that, everything was perfect and we would love to return again in the future.

This home was perfect for us and my cousin’s family. We had two 2 year olds with us who loved that the house was well stocked with toys. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need for a vacation house. The lake access was perfect for small children and boats. We had a fantastic visit and hope to come next year!

I own a home in NH, so a lake or a mountain view is pretty common around here. Take it from me when I say that staying in this property, on this lake, is very serene and beautiful. You will want for nothing. The description and photos are accurate but you really can't grasp the large and open size of the house and the outdoor space. There's enough for folks to spend time apart and together, if you choose. It is very clean and welcoming. I've been renting vacation homes for many years and this one is my favorite. The property is so attractive, easy to get to and you'll just want to stay here and hang. You will not regret booking here.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was stocked with everything we needed and our kids loved having their own space to play! The beach is ideal for young children and our older son enjoyed the canoe and pool! Owner was super accommodating and easily accessible! Hope to come back again!
