The apartment has an extremely privileged position. It's easily accessed by public transport making it the ideal choice for guests visiting the Eternal City. The imposing entrances of the Vatican City and the Vatican Museums are just around the corner from the front door of the building and Piazza San Pietro, as well as Castel Sant'Angelo, are but a short distance from the apartment. Metro access, literally two blocks away, makes sightseeing very easy to all the other major sights. It can take you anywhere in the city. Monuments such as the Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain may be reached with few metro stops or by one of the many buses serving the area. Located on the second floor of a beautiful nineteenth century building with elevator, this apartment has about 70 sq. meters with wooden floors and high ceiling. The apartment is made up of a living room with a full kitchen (all amenities), a small balcony and two spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom (completely updated full bathrooms). From the small balcony you can enjoy the view of the historic Passetto del Borgo (an elevated passage that links the Vatican city with Castel SantAngelo, erected in 1277 by Pope Nicholas III and served as an escape route for Popes in danger) and the beautiful shopping street Via Cola di Rienzo. The apartment is non-smoking, air-conditioned and cool in summer, heated and cosy in winter. The double-glazed windows (not only double panels) flood the apartment with beautiful natural light and guarantee a good night's sleep. Around the building restaurants, typical "trattorias and coffe shops, as well as the more practical facilities such as supermarkets, banks and pharmacies. Approx 2 blocks away there is a Central Market to buy fresh produce, meats, cheeses, fruit, vegetables, bread to enjoy in the lovely kitchen.

Carla was an amazing host. The little balcony off the livingroom is the perfect place to soak up the local culture. There is also a cute little elevator. Just steps to the Metro or you can walk to most must see sights.
Perfect spot for families or a group of friends traveling together.

Carla’s place was perfect for two couples. The location was perfect so close to everything. The listing was very accurate. Clara was always available to answer any questions we had and met us at the property upon arrival. She also coordinated a driver to and from the airport. I would highly recommend this property for a wonderful trip Rome. This place is so close to the Metro as well which was very convenient.

Our family of 5 stayed at this wonderful apartment for a few weeks. The apartment was clean and well stocked. It was centrally located within walking distance to bus stops, the metro, and taxi stand. There weremany wonderful restaurants and markets very close by. We appreciated that we could access all the main tourist sites, but weren't in the middle of the more crowded areas.
Carla, our host, was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. She made sure that everything was in perfect working order. She even came to the apartment during a national holiday to help us with a small issue with the bathroom.
If we ever come back to Rome, we will be sure to stay here again.

Great location from which to visit the Vatican on the west side of the river. Walking distance (for us, at least) to many other attractions such as the Spanish steps, beautiful parks, and the Trastevere neighborhood. Easy access to taxis, restaurants, pharmacies. Our rental had a washer/dryer, AC. We also had a lovely balcony. We had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Landlady was super helpful. We highly recommend this location for a stay in Rome.

I can't rave enough about this rental. Restaurants, grocery, and shopping are right out the door. The Vatican city is a 10 minute walk. A 5 minute walk to the Metro to get to old Rome. It was modern and clean with high ceilings and great windows overlooking the street. Carla put us in touch with a great driver to transport us to the airport. We were picked up at the door and the price was less for a family of 5 then if we had taken public transport!

Great location and lovely apartment. A 5 minute walk to the Vatican. Close to lots of restaurants,shopping and Metro line.Would definitely recommend. 5 Stars. Carla arranged a car service to pick us up at the airport and then later to drive us to our cruise port. Great communnication. All round awesome experience.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 5. Five minute walk to the Vatican and easily accessible to subway station for anything else around the city or to take the fast train. Safe area with lots of great places to grab a tiramisu or snack to go or shop.
The apartment has a washer & dryer that was quit handy when our luggage don’t arrive for 3 days.
Carla, our host, was wonderful! She arranged a driver for us, met us at the apartment and even helped us obtain our luggage when it was delayed. I can’t say enough about her great help!
If we return we’ll plan to stay here again!

Our Roma experience was made even better with this beautiful, remodeled, centrally located apartment. We stayed in other apartments in other cities on this trip and had to deal with issues like noise, size, and lack of amenities. That was not the case here! New windows, beautiful restorations, and steps from the Vatican. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this place. From the time we booked it to the end of the stay everything went smoothly for us. Thank you, Carla for your hospitality. The apartment was perfect for me and my adult grandson. It's quite spacious, more like an American apartment than any European accommodation I've ever stayed in. Beds are very comfortable, too. It's very clean, has a modern kitchen with everything you need, a lovely balcony, and it's close to the metro, the Vatican and restaurants. It's in a nice, safe neighborhood . We will definitely stay here again the next time we return to Rome, and will recommend it to
our friends. The only thing I would change is having towels that are soft, these were not soft . We needed a late check out and Carla accommodated us. Great place to stay!

The location of the apartment was excellent. We were two couples and the apartment was very ample in space. Communication with Carla was excellent. I would highly recommend this apartment while staying in Rome.

The place is exactly as in the pictures. Very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, all remodeled.
Very safe place, the location is great, full of nice restaurants and cafés close… and of course the best ice cream walking distance.
We walked everywhere, never use public transportation. The doorman at the building was very nice and helpful.
Carla is a great host. She took care of every detail, very helpful besides being a nice person.
She arranged the taxi from the airport, great service. Massimiliano is a great driver and very attentive.
We had an amazing time and the place had a lot to do with that.

Such a sweet space and very convenient to so many things. We felt very safe and it was a quiet place to retreat to at the end of long days.

The apartment was terrific! It was clean with all the amenities that you would need for your stay. It's just a stone's throw from the Vatican and there were plenty of really good restaurants in the area. Public transportation was also close and easy to get to. Street noise was hardly noticeable.
The property manager, Carla, was awesome to work with and she was very accommodating of our needs based on our arrival schedule. She was easy to communicate with during the whole process and even arranged our shuttle from and to the airport.

Very centrally located. Easily walked the majority of the city. The only issue was the ac intake was above another apartment with heavy cigarette usage and open windows. We smelled cigarette smoke the entire time.

Modern apartment with space. Situated close enough to the major historic sites to reach them by foot but not in a touristy area. Nice shops and restaurants close by. Carla (the host) gave a very thorough in-person reception at the apartment and kindly organized a driver for us to get to the airport afterwards. We would definitely stay here again if and when we come back to Rome.

Spacious salon with two bedrooms with shower and toilet for each. Well equipped and clean. Almost heaven with AC room in summer in Rome. We are not the sightseeing travelers but stayed as we live here. For us, it’s ideal place.
The owner Carla is very kind and helpful. We were also able to ask for a car to pick us up from the airport. I’m sure I will be back here.

My husband , 14yo daughter and myself stayed at Carla's lovely 2bd Vatican apartment for 2 weeks and it was great. The unit was how it was advertised. The location is excellent, super close to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, train stain (both metro and regional train station) and the cab stand is right at the corner. The apartment was so quiet at night so it helped for a great night sleep. It had everything you need but we felt wasnt too crowded with tourists like the other sections of Rome. We were there when it was during a heat wave, and the airconditioners worked fabulously, we were sooo comfortable. Showers were American size, not the tube showers, the kitchen had everything we could need but we only cooked a few times as there were so many restaurants to choose from. The elevator was nice, as it is technically the 3rd floor and had and awesome balcony. She even had maps and tour books to give you ideas on where to go. Carla is a fabulous host, check in was easy with her and she really walked us through the unit and even did a clean up after 1 week stay and changed up the linen and towel, very nice. She even arranged for our ride back to the airport at the end of our trip. There were extra soap and shampoos and other essentials the unit had that you could use in case you couldnt make it to the market early. The washer came in really handy and the wifii worked great especially as my husband and I worked remoted from her apartment and my daughter was taking a remote class for the summer. She had 2 desks in both bedrooms so we each had a work station, which was hard to find in other units. I think we would definitely come back again next year if we can work extended remote again. Carla is a great host. She organized our pick up from Civitavecchia port and let us leave our luggage while cleaning lady was finishing her scrubbing of the apartment. Clara was also very generous with tourist infos, restaurant suggestions close by, and a map to find our way around.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 3 separate air conditioning units cool the place down, as it was over 32°C everyday during our 4 day stay.
The full modern kitchen as plenty of dishes, pots, pans , toaster, drip coffee maker, blender and more. The dishwasher, the oven, the 4 burner gas stove and full fridge with freezer made our stay comfortable to eat in a couple of nights. A large grocery store with fresh fish and meats was 5 min. away.
The washer-dryer unit was very useful to do a few loads. All soaps included.
A small balcony overlooking the corner Piazza is a fun way of finishing your glass of wine while you people watch.
A small elevator is very useful to bring up luggage and for accessing the second floor unit.
We definitely recommend and will be back again to reserve Carla's place.

The apartment is very convenient and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was super clean, the beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning works well. The location is the best, located right next to the Vatican with the taxi stand just outside the front door. Taxi to anywhere in the city is 10 Euro. Great restaurants and wonderful walking on the nearby streets. We especially liked “Isola della Pizza,” just a couple blocks away. We would love to stay again in this apartment. Carla was super nice and gave great suggestions on restaurants and getting around the city.

Carla was a wonderful and flexible host. Since my son arrived a day early, she checked him in and showed him how to use the apartment. The elevator was very helpful. The apartment was well equipped for cooking; had pot/pan, salt, peppers, utensils, bowl & plates, coffee kettle, etc. Each room had its own AC & heating units and bathrooms. The wifi was great since we worked a few days before our holidays began.
I arrived the next day via the $7 SIT bus from the airport. It had a Vatican stop 10 minutes away from the apartment. The bus departs hourly from the airport. I saw many other buses heading to Rome but most only go to the Termini metro station where you would have to transfer onto the metro. The Termini station had mostly stairs; we didn’t see any escalators and elevators were broken or spotty. I found the SIT bus or Taxi (very expensive) the most options if you didn’t want to drag your luggage on many stairs.
The apartment had a great location, minutes away from the Vatican. We were able to capture the sacred ground throughout the day. We took nearby buses (minutes away) to see other parts of Rome. The metro station was 5-7 minutes away. You can get tickets at the metro stations that would work on metro and buses or buy them at the tabacco shops or download the DropTicket app for online tickets. Make sure you get a ticket and validate it onboard or in your app. The ticket policemen will randomly check; usually targeting tourists. The penalty for riding unpaid is 55 euros pp (if you pay it within 5 days) or 110 euro pp thereafter. We saw a couple getting ticketed on the bus.
All in all, we loved the apartment. It’s well equipped, very comfortable, safe and convenient location for transportation. This is a hidden gem. I highly recommend.

The apartment was just as it says in the listing. Carla was waiting for us the arriving and departing was very easy. We used the private transport and it was wonderful the drivers were so friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect, easy for walking, and taking the metro. It was great for coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. You are just around the corner literally from the Vatican and we managed to use the metro no problem, but for us it was easy to walk to the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps etc. thank you Carla for a making it such a lovely stay
