Really lovely staff and rooms, great breakfast and location

This property was right at the beginning of the Cotswold Way, and it was such a cute place! It felt super safe and cozy, and the staff were so friendly and even helped me with carrying my bag upstairs. I got there way early thanks to an overnight flight, and they even cleaned my room quickly so I could crash and recover.

I was in the solo room, so it was small, but I loved it.

We paid through booking but they never booked the room so Bantam wasn’t expecting us. We waited there for an hour while The manager tried to arrange a room for us. Thankfully, she was successful and our room was lovely. The shower was the best we had during the whole trip.

The fact that booking never owned up to their mistake and made no effort to find us an alternative accommodation..
