A great place to unwind for a few days

Orrie’s was everything I hoped it would be from previous reviews…friendly, quirky, peaceful and very close to a lovely beach. Shaun stored my luggage and let me use a room for a shower before my evening flight. Coconut prawn curry was delicious for dinner. My room was huge. Shaun quickly sorted out a missing hairdryer and a programming issue with the A/C - which was then very effective

Beautiful location right on Turner’s Beach. The hotel was clean and the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. There are many other beaches, bars, and restaurants just a short drive (or even walk) away. The hotel having WiFi and air conditioning was also a plus.

Amazing, welcomed so restful and gardens are outstanding all Sean’s work x

Sean is just an amazing host. He is working really hard to get everything perfect but couldn’t do enough for us. No tv or kettle but these will come in time. Food was provided for us and was fabulous cannot praise this place enough and we have holidayed in Antigua for 18 years xx

Tea coffee and kettle but I know this will come soon in the rooms.

Orries Beach Bar is the most incredible location for a relaxing stay. Right next to Turner's Beach which was our favourite beach in Antigua. Sean is the most amazing host. Always smiling and ready to assist.

A Caribbean tressure

What an absolute gem of a place. Incredibly accommodating, they really couldn't do enough for you. Just wonderful throughout. We were meant to stay there longer but it just didnt work out as we ended up going to a different island.

too expensive for what you get.

The beach in front of the house is beautiful. The apartment was spacious but not well equipped.

The road in front of our balcony, it is noisy. There are no curtains and the lightening from the house shines directly into the bed. You really have to get used to these issues.

Practically perfect in every way! with just the right sprinkling of tropical paradise

Orries is a little gem. I had a wonderful stay and was made to feel most welcome from the moment I arrived to the day I left. the king suite was clean, colourful and full of good vibes. The little feel good quotes and touches around the property make all the difference. I was travelling alone due to marriage breakdown and this was just what the doctor ordered. Shawn is amazing, the most warm and friendly guy you could meet, nothing is a problem and everything is so easy going. The location is Perfect overlooking a beautiful calm beach, the sea is as it looks in magazines and was warm like bath water. The gardens are landscaped beautifully with tropical plants and fruits, bursting with life such as lizards, butterflies and hummingbirds. It was everything I could have wished for from a vibrant and typical break in the Caribbean. Orries is highly recommended.

Good

The Service was GREAT and Very Friendly Staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The View is Amazing. The beach is just in front of the Hotel, you can just relax and watch all the Beautiful Sunsets from there. The room was really big and the bed was comfortable. If you do not care about fancy, you can definitely stay here, everyone makes you feel welcome, and as I said before, they go above and beyond for their guests.

The room is outdated.

Shaun the Manager was just great so helpful and friendly we couldn’t have been happier

friendly and welcoming team, location right opposite the beach (stunning beach by the way) and bus stop right outside for public transport. local bars and restaurants all around if you don’t want to eat at the hotel every night.

A beautiful location and great place to stay, but not to eat.

the location is magnificent, right in front of a beautiful beach and the staff is super friendly!

The breakfast was really poor and especially the omelet was terrible.

total gem of a place, wonderful hosts, beautiful surroundings

What a wonderful place, with its rustic charm, vibrant colours and the stunning and very chilled beach. I would have happily stayed here much longer if my itinary had allowed it. The people running the place are so friendly and so helpful, especially Shawn who did so much to make my stay: organised transfer for me, connected me with a local tennis coach, he dropped off at the courts the first day (Jolly Harbour Sport Centre incase you’re interested) and even found a room for me on my return when they were all booked up. The people who work here really take pride in this place and go out of their way to may you feel welcome. I really hope I get to return one day.

Everything I needed!

Orrie’s is such a welcoming home away from home. Everyone is friendly and so accommodating. I’m absolutely going to be returning! my room was spacious, sea view to die for, hearing the waves all night was bliss. As a female solo traveller I felt so safe and looked after. The love that has gone into Orrie’s and their gardens really shows. Well done to Sean and the team!

The hospitality shown by Shaun and the team was fantastic. They attended to our every request and frequently made sure we were happy with everything. The location also speaks for itself - a stone's throw away from one of the best beaches in Antigua with incredible views. Highly recommend staying here!

It is a really friendly place right on the Beach.and with a beautiful landscaped garden.The manager and his staff are really helpful. Also loved the tortoises.

Enjoyed it so much I went back a week later after Nevis

The staff are so thoughtful and great fun! The location is excellent, on one the best beaches in Antigua, and you meet the locals here !

lovely view from the room, really close to the beach. Wonderful staff- Shawn, Arthur & Junior plus the brilliant taxi guy Brian who also arranges water sports. Great, freshly cooked food.

Great !!!

Shawn and the staff were wonderful, always wanting to make sure you were OK, and full of laughter late night at the bar. They made my stay so enjoyable. The food was simple, but fresh and tasty. The location opposite Turners beach is perfect. If you want to stay in a real Caribbean place and make friends with the locals, this is the place. No frills, simple, fun and very welcoming.

No bedside lamp, and the rooms need a little attention.

The breakfast was amazing! Healthy, delicious and 100% customized. Gluten free & Vegan options were great! The design was as good as the taste. Shawn, Dwayne and Red need to be on Top Chef! Amazing and excellent!

Beautiful and friendly

Small locally run hotel, six spacious rooms, each with a balcony overlooking a glorious beach (footsteps away from the beach, you can hear the waves). Clean and comfortable. Caring and personal service from Shawn. My gluten free needs were respected in the kitchen.

Paradise!!!

The staff...Sean who is running the place is so welcoming and Lola running the bar very nice. The place is beautiful, the room is enormous and very clean with everything you need and a comfortable bed. You have breathtaking view of the beach from the balcony in the room and the sunset from the bar having nice drinks. Is an authentic place!! Not one of this resorts, you feel like part of a family, when we arrived from a very tiring trip, Sean welcomed us with very nice food. He is a fantastic chef. I ordered some wine that they didn't have and the day after Lola got it for me. The place is paradise...the beach is just in front...beautiful one. We will definitely come back I really recommend the place! You come as a guest you leave as a family.

Clean relaxing beach resort with good food and drinks with a cheerful friendly staff.

The hotel is across a single lane road from a small beach which we essentially had to ourselves. We fell asleep to the peaceful sound of the waves lapping onto shore every night. The rooms are clean and large with a small fridge and water cooler (we brought our own water bottles to refill while there). Every room has a patio which looks out to the ocean. We had a rental car which made it easier for us to explore the island from the hotel. Shawn and the staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. Every meal that we had there (breakfast and dinners) were delicious and the drinks, poured by their resident "mixologist", were tasty. The WiFi was little sketchy but we didn't go on vacation to spend our time on our phones.

Even though the hotel mostly faces west, the morning sun can be bright. I would suggest bringing an eye mask if you want to sleep in.

Under construction...

It is right by a beach, although you have to cross a road and lots of road noise all night and day

There was no wifi in the room and they kept saying they would fix it but never did. No TV in the room. The power went out for a while. There was loud construction going on while we were there and they refused to stop even though we said it was really bothersome. The balcony door was broken and they said they wanted to come in and fix it after we already checked in... When we went to the beach, the staff followed us and told us that we would get kicked off the lounge chairs because they weren't theirs... like that's fine, let us be kicked off, don't follow us around...
