About this chalet rental
Situated in Tunkhannock Township, this attractive chalet for $194 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Bed Linens now provided FOR AN ADDITIONAL $50 FEE!!!(Towels not included) We do supply pillows blankets and comforters. Downstairs floors redone early Oct 2019!!!wood laminate much cleaner look new fire stick provided!Prices are discounted for longer stays please inquire for most accurate pricing!!! Our house is in the beautiful community of Towamensing Trails. The home was built in October of 2008. It features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master has a queen bed with a 26in flat sreen tv, bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds, bedroom #3 has 2 sets of bunk beds, and bedroom #4 has another queen(every room has a tv and a dvd player). There are 2 full size sofas in the living room with a gas fireplace and a 42in flatscreen tv with hd. We have a wii with plenty of games. Poker chips and cards. There are movies and games as well for all ages. The game room has a full size pool table, full size ping pong conversion top, shuffleboard table, electronic dartboard, and a 37in flatscreen tv. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a full size dishwasher . There are 2 decks 1 in front and 1 off the master with a 4 burner gas grill. We have wifi. HOT TUB ALWAYS CLEAN!!! Recently added a golden tee golf game. Just bought 2 new sofas, 2 new flat screens, cleaned rugs and game room re-painted and decks re-stained. We always are maintaining and upgrading our home. We had a water purification sytem installed in 2018.

We love this place. We had a great time and we love that the deer come right in the yard and you can feed them. The host (Brian) checked in to make sure that everything was ok when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this house. Plan on going back.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this property. The house was wonderful! Great location and easy drive to Jim Thorpe and Bushkill falls. The spacious game room is impressive and had almost everything imaginable…. Darts, pool, ping pong, shuffle board, old school arcade style video game machine with hundreds of games, video golf game, etc. Hot tub was also a bonus. Owners are great and responded very quickly to answer a few questions. We’ve stayed at several properties over the years in the Albrightsville area, and this house is now at the top of my list. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was great and perfect to fit my families needs. We could also bring our dog which was great as well. Everything in the home worked as it should. The hot tub was very nice to have as well. It was very peaceful and quiet and the neighbors seemed nice also. The deer are extremely friendly. My children were feeding them by hand. The one thing that was on the downside was the community itself. This portion I believe is out of the homeowners control. They only give you only 8 tags for the beach regardless of your party size and you can not purchase more. On top of that. These are one time use paper carnival bracelets and must be worn to enjoy any amenity. So as you swim and shower these bracelets degrade. They also must last for days at a time. You end up having to wear a beat carnival bracelet as your food shopping. It’s fairly degrading if I must say, and should be changed. I saw another review where someone they felt as they had a target on their back. I felt the same way, and they want you to wear those bracelets to make sure you can be singled out of a crowd. You can not remove them as they must be worn at all amenities. You can not use your own kayaks only home owners can. You’re not welcome at the bar near the pool either. The pool is roughly similar to one you would see in a regular neighborhood backyard. House is A1, the community itself could use a bit more hospitality and some smarter business practices.

Our first time vacationing in the Poconos and my family loved it. We are already thinking of returning next year. Lots to do in the area. Our granddaughters loved the beach. Home was comfortable an clean.

Have rented homes at various pocono communities; this was our first time at Towanensing Trails. The home that we rented on Eliot Ln was perfect for our family and my daighter's Labernese dog and the hosts, Brian and Stacy, are terrific. Very friendly and responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. The game room and hot tub were great, my kids got a lot of use out of both and also really enjoyed the community ameneties - pool, kayaking, lake/beach, tennis courts. Looking forward to going back there next July.

My husband and I booked this house on very short notice as I was looking for a place that had a hot tub and a pool table or table tennis. This place had both! We stayed less than 24 hours thanks to the owners being open to a 1-night stay, even though there is a 2-night minimum, and we were able to bring our beloved dogs.
The pros for me were...
- great location in a community in the Poconos
- spacious home with many sleeping options, lots of tvs
- fireplace and hot tub, both of which were great!
- game room! Best part of the stay - pool table that converted to a ping pong table, Golden Tee game, and a mini arcade console with over 400 classic games, indoor shuffleboard table, darts, and horseshoe outdoors we could see through the snow.
- owner was fast in his responses to me about questions and for booking.
The only cons were...
- no bedding or towels were provided. I've stayed in more than 20 VRBO's all over the world and never have I had to bring my own bedding. We live 3 hours driving distance so we could add in towels and bedding, but if people fly in or have a lot of people staying, that's a lot of extra luggage. Not only were there no bedding or shower towels but no towels in the bathroom after you wash your hands. Or even paper towels/napkins.
- the bed (double size) in the downstairs room was really uncomfortable and squeaky.
- I wish we could have played darts but none of them had flights on them. The ones that were there were frayed. Some of the game accessories (paddles, dart flights, pool rack) were a little rough, but most were still usable.
- wasn't any information on how things worked. Every other VRBO I've stayed at had a little cheat sheet with things like how to use the arcade console, the tvs that all had multiple remotes, adjusting the thermostat/fireplace. Eventually we figured it out or gave up. There was a binder with some information but more general like where to get delivery food. Brian (owner) was easy to contact with questions but it'd be nice to have some of those common questions already answered with an FAQ at the home.
Overall, it was a nice, short and fun stay for my husband and the game setup and hot tub were great. A family or bunch of friends would have a great time here with all the places to sleep, the games, and location to outdoor activities.

Brian and Stacy are certainly Premire Hosts. The property has so much to offer. House was very clean and everything worked properly. I did a weekend with some old friends from work and we absolutely loved the house and location. So much to do. Great communication and very reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

Me and 9 of my buddies needed a long weekend up the mountains. Right off the bat Brian and his wife Stacy were amazing. They reached out to me hours after I booked and were more than helpful. This house is perfect for a relaxing weekend away. It was clean and very spacious. The hot tub and game room were big hits. I can’t wait to stay here again! Can’t recommend this place enough!
