Artur was a gracious and attentive host. I highly recommend Alfama and this property in particular.

The flat is spacious, spotless, and in a great location. One of the best surprises was that in the evening, the restaurant at the bottom of the steps just outside the flat sets up tables and the steps outside the flat end up being a festive but quiet place to enjoy a glass of wine or tea at the end of the night.

Awesome

The best host we ever had, he will greet you personally and give you a lot of information around the city. Make sure you listen to his advice. He even got us tickets to the Champions League Match, great guy. The apartment has everything you would wish for and it's in a very good location, walking distance to the metro and to bars and restaurants. Very quiet at night.

Friendly host, good central location.

The accommodation is located in the historic Alfama district, within walking distance of the riverfront, São Jorge Castle, and Praça do Comércio. Quiet, steep narrow streets.

Since cars can't enter here, it's a bit of a hassle to reach. Taxis can only stop on the tram tracks, and if a tram comes, it causes a bit of a scene. There is a newly bought air conditioner, but its venting hasn't been sorted out yet.

5 star Apartmentk

This is a 5 star apartment. Very well equipped. Great information from host. It's in a great area and has all I can imagine anyone would need. Even coffee pods and decent toilet paper!!. Highly recommended. Host makes good recommendations for eating places.

Restaurants and shops in the local area very expensive as you'd expect in this tourist area. Follow advice from host.
