We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property. The location is perfect -- close to numerous good restaurants, safe, and located right next to not just one but TWO of the main subway lines that access all major sites within the region. There are so many good things that I could say about this property, Yohann the owner, and our trip overall. Yohann the owner was just outstanding to work with, and very responsive to all of our questions, from the time we first reached out through the completion of the trip. The check in process was very easy, and Yohann arranged for somebody to meet us at the property to give us a tour of the home and guidance on how to get around the city. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living quarters all were very clean, well appointed, and quite comfortable. It was like being at home. Also, the property is so versatile. It has a sophisticated decor great for adults, but also accommodates children very well. (We had three children with us, between the ages of 12 and 15.) I could go on and on, but to sum it up -- the property was exactly what we were looking for, and fulfilled and surpassed all expectations. Couldn’t have had better accommodations. Thank you.

This was the perfect stay for our group with two small issues: one there was an insane amount of construction in the building and outside during the entirety of our stay, we were only informed a few days prior. This was very loud and disturbing the entire time. Two: due to the construction there were people in and around the building all throughout the day and night so it didn’t feel particularly safe.
However I definitely believe this was an exception to the general feel of the apartment. Without this issue it would have been perfect for my group of colleagues in town for an event. Yohann and Mikael were very easy to communicate with and the place was very clean and convenient.

This flat was perfect for our stay in Paris. Check in was very thorough and was exactly as planned. The flat was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and provided great rest from our busy sightseeing days. Our host was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend this flat!

Prior to our stay, the manager contacted us and told us that the building was being redone on the outside.
All the windows would be covered. When we arrived, the person was not there to greet us. One of us went to the door, and some men who were standing in the ‘hall’ let one of us in. One of the men said something distasteful to the person in our group and greatly offended her. Additionally, the entry was so disgusting that we did not even get up to the apartment. We left Immediately.
I must give the manager credit for contacting us a couple weeks before our arrival. He told us that the building was under renovation and the windows would be covered. He gave us the option to cancel at that time and refunded some of our prepayment immediately.
This is a very busy and very crowded part of town. No parking possible-not even a place to pull over to unload luggage.

Yohann is AMAZING! I waited until a few weeks before the trip to find housing & I had some dates messed up. Yohann went out of his way to help me find the perfect accommodations. I was traveling with my adult children (24 & 22). Everyone had their own room & bathroom, the unit had a washer & dryer. The area was VERY convenient for food & metro & I felt comfortable walking around at night. When we make it to Paris again Yohann's properties will be the first I look at. Thank you so much!!

There were 2 families: 4 adults and 3 teens/pre teens in the apt. Location was very convenient to metro, and bakeries. Having a small kitchen for breakfast and ability to do laundry was a fantastic benefit.

My overall stay at the property is pleasant. The check in process was through and informative. The communication team is top notch responsive. This was my first time staying in Paris and the help that I received from the host was truly helpful. The restaurant recommendations were so on point! We had a great time in Paris!

The property was exactly as described and met our every need. We had a group of three, so having three bedrooms and three bedrooms was ideal. The unit was very well maintained and well equipped. The location is central, so traveling to other parts of the city was easy. The neighbor was diverse and offered us everything that we needed-bars, restaurants, etc. We also appreciated the welcome and download we received regarding the property, neighborhood and Paris that we received from Mickael upon arrival. He was extremely nice and very informative. We could not have made a better choice! Highly recommended.

We had a great stay in Paris. The place was spacious, with a large kitchen, full sized dining table and living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size also. It was great having a washer and dryer! Very close to train station, grocery stores and restaurants.

First trip to Paris
We enjoyed our stay here. The building is old but the flat itself is very modern. We had 6 people and had plenty of room. It was nice to have 3 separate bedrooms. The kitchen was very spacious and had everything needed. Easy to get around the city from here via walking or Uber/cab. No AC but there are fans and that was fine. Yohann was extremely helpful and I would recommend this unit.

Yohann, the property manager was very nice & professional. However, he was not the person who …
….checked us in unfortunately. Despite clear instruction that we needed to be very specific about what time to rendezvous at the flat & communication from both the airport & the taxi confirming the time our hosts representative was to meet us when he was 15 minutes late & I texted him again he said “oh are you there? I’m sorry. I’m only 5 minutes away. It was another 20 minutes before he arrived. We’d been awake for 32 hours so we were not amused. He was very friendly upon arrival & did give us a lengthy tour. Finally, the management should be aware that the building is not secure. Most of the time the door code is unnecessary. We saw many people enter (which we then started to do) by simply pushing the enter button without the code.
The rooms were very quiet from the street chatter although often we couldn’t open the window for air due to cigarette smoke. We are perhaps extra sensitive to that being non smokers & never being exposed to second hand smoke at home.
Finally, again I want to say Yohann was wonderful …we enjoyed the neighborhood & found the beds surprisingly comfortable.

Everything on site was wonderful. I do recommend travelers from the US to get European sims for their phones, it makes communicating so much easier.
The property was wonderful with great appliances and washer and dryer. It really helped in packing lighter and saving room for souvenirs in your luggage being able to was clothes.
The location was great to a multi-station Metro with service to the major sights.
Shops, restaurants and grocery, bakeries all one block away. Taxi/ Uber stand close also.
The 4 of us loved our time there.

Fantastic property and great communication.
Everything on site was wonderful. I do recommend travelers from the US to get European sims for their phones, it makes communicating so much easier.

Unique experience
Yohann Gendry is an excellent host. Was extremely attentive and helpful. One of the toilets was not working properly and he came over immediately to check and then hired a plumber. The toilet was fixed the same day. The apartment was located in a unique neighborhood in Paris with very colorful inhabitants on our street. Easy access to the Metro and unique shopping area. However, the best thing about the apartment was definitely Yohann. 5 plus stars for him.

We enjoyed our stay here
We had never been to this part of Paris and enjoyed how centrally located it was. We could get to wherever we wanted to go pretty easily. It also didn't hurt that it was basically around the corner from the Museum of Chocolate that our granddaughter loved!! There was plenty of space for the five of us and gave us a place to hang out together when we weren't out sightseeing.

Enjoyed our stay...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment has been recently remodeled and is spacious with good sized rooms. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and probably could accommodate 6 people. It is well located in Central Paris - with a metro station no more than a block or so away, and a 10 minute walk to the Pompidou Center. Recommended.

Six Ladies in Paris
We were here Oct. 2019. Fantastic location metro, grocery stores, cafes, boutiques are all within easy walking distance. The "ladies of the night" were never a problem and added character to the location. We always felt very safe. Photos of the apartment are accurate. Would definitely stay here again!

Given the price of hotels nearby you cannot beat this apartment. “Ladies of the night” were lovely and no hassle at all. The immediate area is multicultural and lots to see down either of the main streets toward the Seine. We easily walked all the way to the Eiffel tower, Sacre Coeur & Luxembourg Gardens (within an hour) Very much depends on what you are used to but we found the apartment furnished appropriately with all amenities needed.

Paris Vacay
The property was exactly as listed the halls are not impressive but once inside the apartment it is beautiful and clean. everything is updated and Yohann and Mickael was very helpful and always available. The neighborhood was lively with plenty of places to eat nearby at all hours of the night. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!
We had a great stay in June 2019. Flat was clean and modern. Very easy check in and check out with lots of suggestions for the area and city. Location is central to lots of bars, restaurants and transportation. We would definetly stay again!

Great proximity, bad ambiance location
This property is great and perfect for open minded visitors. However even I was a little concerned about the safety of the back-alley required to access this property. To be fair the listing is perfectly accurate and I knew that they “ladies of the night” would be present. But it still felt a little uncomfortable to walk down a dark side street with our luggage. I still give this property and overall 5 stars.

Great apartment, with a fantastic location.
It was a huge 3 bedroom two bathroom unit. Johann the owner and his staff were available and very outgoing to make your stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this unit to everyone.

Great starting point for exploring Paris
This apartment was well situated for a great time in Paris. One block north is a metro stop and beyond that food sellers and restaurants. In the other direction there are many boutiques and stores for all types of shopping. We really felt like we were in the heart of Paris's fashion district. Some sights like the Centre Pompidou were walkable while others like the Eiffel tower were a short metro ride away.
The apartment itself is well equipped. The kitchen is well laid out and provides the opportunity to cook a meal or bring a take away meal back and eat in. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Having laundry available was a big bonus when traveling with kids and trying to pack light. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of room.

Huge place, great bang for the buck, great location!!
Property was renovated recently, had a huge space, and was well equipped. Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. Location was awesome with easy access to metro and parking. Yohann had someone meet us upon arrival and he was extremely informative. We felt completely safe in and around the area with two small kids. Great stay in Paris!!

Great for 3 Couples
We loved our stay in this modern condo in the 2nd. It had 2 metro options and hundreds of restaurants nearby. The check in was smooth and there was no hassle. As the description mentions, Ladies of the Night do stand along the street, however, they were always super courteous and add to the character of the stay. I only mention them in case you are an ultraconservative traveler. It may be worth mentioning there is no complimentary bath soap or shampoo and we did need to buy toilet paper and paper towels by the end of our stay, but that is very minor. It will be hard to find a hotel at this price with so much room. Great VRBO rental!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet appartement situé à un jet de pierre d'une station de métro (Strasbourg-St-Denis où on retrouve les lignes 4-8 et 9, très pratique !) et d'un monoprix. Les trois chambres sont équitablement spacieuses, les espaces communs sont confortables et bien équipés. Merci Yohann Gendry et a son équipe pour leur accueil chaleureux. Leur flexibilité face à nous heures d'arrivée et de départ a été très appréciée !

Clean, modern, great location and wonderful service!
The apartment had everything we needed for a 5-night stay. Rare to find an affordable 3- bedroom 2-bathroom place that is close to the major sights. Perfect for our group of 8 people, including 2 kids.
The train station is nearby and most sights are a few stops away. Monoprix, a supermarket, is less than a minute away. There's a great pizzeria opposite the apartment. Some evenings, you can even buy fruit from a vendor who pushes his cart down the street. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked almost every day.
For this to be a fair review, I would like to add that the apartment is situated in a red-light district and the working ladies could be seen on the streets in front of the building. Also, office workers from nearby offices take smoke breaks along the street and you sometimes get cigarette smoke wafting through the living room windows. But these did not spoil our experience. The whole apartment was generally quiet and smoke-free and 2 of the bedrooms face the back where it is cool and peaceful.
The major plus, though, is really the service. Yohann, who handled the booking, was very helpful. From advising me on the best way for my elderly parents to move about the city to telling me which channel would show the World Cup matches, Yohann was always friendly and prompt with his replies.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Merci beaucoup!

Large, clean apartment, central location. Terrific bargain
We - a friend and family of 3 (my wife and 15 year old son) enjoyed our stay at the apartment.
The place is huge by Paris standards - lots of room, three bedrooms, two big bathrooms, one separate washroom with a toilet.
Nicely furnished, mostly newer IKEA furniture, washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms. Dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso and drip coffee maker.
Well insulated from outside noise - new windows keep the noise out. older building, some neighborly noise can be heard from inside the house - it is an older building, after all.
Fast WiFi through most of the apartment, only in the farthest bedroom the signal might drop off.
Check in was easy, so was the checkout - the representative of the owner texted us and let us in the apartment, leaving, he came in time for us to get out to catch our train.
As mentioned by the owner, there are indeed "women waiting for men" in the street. Frankly, nothing threatening nor romantic about it: just (mostly older) women waiting (and, if successful, disappearing in one of the neighboring houses) , no active solicitation, no indication of lawlessness.
This activity is limited to a few blocks mostly south and including Rue Blondel, just walking less than 100 m to Boulevard de Sébastopol and any indication of this type of business disappears.
For this, you are close to the Marais (5-10 minutes), in walking distance to Centre Pompidou (15 minutes), Notre Dame (30 minutes) and Louvre (20 minutes) while getting a terrific deal for a large, well equipped apartment.
Logistics:
The apartment is easy to get to, right off Boulevard de Sébastopol, a major boulevard in central Paris, yet quiet - Rue Blondel is a side street with very little car traffic. Also close to Métro stations Strasbourg - Saint Denis and Réaumur - Sébastopol.
Several grocery stores close by - Monoprix, Carrefour City, Franprix, the latter two open relatively late on Sundays

Perfect for our family of 7 in paris
The apartment was so quiet. We slept well. Communication great from the start (all in English) There are prostitutes in the area but we were told by the owner of this and he was correct there was no problems in this regard. Close to the metro with access to everything for tourists in Paris. We felt safe in the area even walking home from the metro at midnight. Our kids range in age from 7-18, all was well, perfect for a family. Comfy beds, good showers, clean flooring and bedding and pin drop quiet all night, no street noise as this mainly is a walking side street and it seems the windows and walls have been sound proofed in some way. Thanks to the owners!
