Situated in Welches, this attractive house for $289 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Nestled right on the banks of the pristine Salmon River, our updated and restored Mt. Hood cabin sits on a private 1/2 acre amid old growth forest. At the cabin you experience what it feels like to be away from it all, with the sound of river and the sights and smells of the forest. Our idyllic cabin boasts a full covered front porch featuring a custom-built outdoor dining table and Adirondack chairs. Additionally, there is the covered side patio with hot tub and gas BBQ. Inside you will find a beautiful river rock fireplace with woodstove, knotty pine wood walls, a fully updated/stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. This is your gateway cabin to all the adventuring your heart desires: ski the slopes, mountain bike the Sandy Ridge Trail system, or hike any number of beautiful trails through old growth forests. If relaxation is more up your alley, our cabin has you covered too. Sit by the river, soak in the hot tub, relax with a good book by the wood burning stove, play a board game, complete a puzzle or spin some vinyl on the vintage stereo. We also offer smart T.V. and high-speed WiFi for streaming your favorite shows or if need be, to complete some work. Features: -1656 total sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms -Large covered front porch overlooking the beautiful Salmon River. -Large master suite on main with king bed and day bed with twin trundle bed (sleeps 4) -2nd bedroom on main with queen bed (sleeps 2) -3rd bedroom suite upstairs with queen bed and twin day bed with trundle bed (sleeps 4) -Additional living area in upstairs loft with couch and T.V. -Full sized front loading washing machine and dryer -Modern, well stocked kitchen with updated appliances -Large gas BBQ -6 person hot tub

We had the most wonderful stay after Christmas. The cabin is just beautiful! If I could design my perfect cabin, this would be it. I love how it's decorated and the wood detail is just beautiful. Wonderful kitchen, three bathrooms, Vince was awesome and easy to book with. No hiccups at all! There are several good restaurants nearby. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend and hope to return!

Booked a weekend getaway with some long time friends. Really enjoyed how close the river was to the house. Overall the home was clean and stocked well. Plenty of space for both families. Jacuzzi was nice to relax at the end of the day. Wished it would have snowed instead of rained; maybe next time. Would recommend the cabin to anyone looking to be within close proximity to Mt. Hood.

The stay was so restorative and it was lovely to be by the river. The kitchen was so well stocked and the fireplace was a place of communion. We ran into the problem of the power going out, but Vince was so quick to respond and help us solve the issue. This place is a gem and would stay again!

This cabin was such a dream! The kitchen had everything that we forgot to bring, which was super convenient. All the bedrooms were clean, spacious, and adorable. The hottub is super convenient and fit all 6 of us perfectly. I can’t say enough great things. I highly recommend and will absolutely come back.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and the location was amazing right on the river! The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to prepare meals. We loved the record player and it had a great selection of vinyl records to pick from as well. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on booking it again in the future.

This cabin was perfect for 7 ladies getting away for the weekend. It is secluded on a river with salmon running, with a hot tub, numerous bathrooms, fireplace, fire pit, wood stove, record album and plenty of beds and places to lounge. The host was excellent and it was just what we were looking for. I would book again and highly recommend .

Everything about this cabin exceeded our expectations- the setting on the river, the convenient location, and the tasteful décor. I especially enjoyed sitting on the covered porch, enjoying my morning coffee while listening to the first rains of autumn. We hope to be back!

We absolutely loved this place. From the location on the stream to the outside hot tub, it was very enjoyable. Might have been our favorite place this trip. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage had a perfect amount of room for our 3 couples for sleeping, playing games, hanging out in the hot tub and sitting by the river. Nice kitchen set up for morning coffee and meal prep. One of our favorite activities was playing records, very fun albums to choose from! We hiked near Mount Hood and appreciated the proximity to good trails.

A lovely spot right on the Salmon River. Enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting by the river, either with a morning cup of coffee, or a cold beer after a day of hiking. Also enjoyed an evening soak in the hot tub. A surprise treat was the turntable and vinyl library. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary things to prepare meals to enjoy on either the indoor dining table or the comfy covered front porch. The location of the cabin is close to hiking on/around Mt Hood. All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We hope to be back.

This is a great rustic cabin surrounded by forest but only a mile from highway with grocery, restaurants, lakes & Mt Hood nearby.
The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Despite the rainy weather we enjoyed hiking, kayaking, sitting on the porch and picking blackberries which we used to make a coffee cake. A great time to mark the end of summer.

This log cabin, with its lovely wood floors, walls, and even ceilings, would be charming anyplace...but situated in front of a beautiful river & surrounded by a magical forest, well - I could hardly leave! Add to this comfortable beds, a hot tub, & all the expected amenities and you have a rather dreamy getaway. We cant wait to go back!

This place was beautiful! Great family getaway. I would love to do it again next year. Great porch with table outside, large table inside for all the games we played. Well stocked kitchen, I can’t say one negative thing about it.. well except if there were stairs down to the river— it was truly great!

This rustic and private mountain cabin is located right on the scenic Salmon River and has it's private own river access. It is centrally located within the Mount Hood area and in close proximity to some amazing hikes. We found the kitchen well-stocked, the furnishings comfortable, and the yard and view deeply relaxing. Highly recommend!
