Nestled in Mackinaw City, this attractive cottage for $210 per night is a great choice for your next break. This cozy cottage is the largest of 3 on a large wooded lot on the west side of town. Outside is a park like setting with firepits, charcoal grill, and outdoor seating. A large deck is perfect for family meals or just relaxing. It was completely renovated in 2013 (with smaller updates since) with a cottage theme in color and décor. The full kitchen includes a dishwasher and is equipped to prepare all your meals. It has 1 1/2 baths which include a washer and dryer. There are 2 bedrooms- each has a queen bed. The living room has a tv with cable, books and games. (NOTE- the loft is no longer available for sleeping).The cheery back porch has a day bed with trundle- perfect for reading or taking a nap. This comfortable cottage is well suited for families of all ages, couples, and business travelers as internet is included. An added benefit is that all 3 cottages on this large property can be rented for larger groups/families. There is much to see and do with in walking distance- from shops, restaurants and ferries to Mackinac Island to beaches and hiking trails. And just a short drive away is The Headlands (a dark sky park), Wilderness State Park, M119 Tunnel of Trees, and the famous Mackinac Bridge leading to the beautiful Upper Peninsula.

Nice location within walking distance. House had everything we needed. Disappointed water from fridge did not work and we had an issue with fruit flies.

This VRBO was awesome! Last minute decision to re-route our road trip to Mackinaw City. We booked a day in advance and we were very pleased with our choice! Clean, cozy and close to everything! It's just what we needed for a couple days of R&R before we hit the road again! I would definitely stay here again! :)

The house was charming, but has some quirks that I think could be fixed or could have been addressed. A couple of the doorknobs kept falling off randomly and it would be great if the ice maker was working! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay though and would definitely recommend!!

Cottage was clean and decorated very nice. Location was great, close to attractions, shopping and restaurants, but in a nice quiet neighborhood and great for relaxing. Would stay there again if available when we go back.

Very pleasant! Weather was lovely, Food was delicious, people were friendly. The property owners nailed it with the cottage. Warm and cozy, provided everything needed and the location could not have been better.

This remodeled cabin was not only comfortable but tastefully decorated. The outdoor deck provided a peaceful spot amidst the beautiful flowers and hosta. The beach was several blocks away… beautiful sunsets. This was an ideal location.

We were able to walk to restaurants and downtown. We road our bikes to the ferry. We made s’mores on the fire pit. It was a nice long weekend getaway.

My daughter, two granddaughters and I enjoyed staying at the cottage between sightseeing in the city, island and go over the bridge to the up. There was enough space for the four of us after a busy day. Location was fabulous to go across the Mackinaw bridge to spend time in the UP or go to Mackinaw Island and walk to Mackinaw City to all the shops.

Location location!! Adorable! This was our second stay at the cottage! Definitely will stay again! Absolutely love it! Everything is convenient and easy walking distance if you want. Our first visit we had family in all three cottages which was fantastic!!

Our family of five stayed here and it was just big enough for all of us to be comfortable. It was clean, cozy and had all the amenities we would ever need. It was a great location, we were able to walk downtown and to Shepler's Ferry every day to take to the island. The owners have done a great job of making it feel like a home away from home. We would stay again and recommend to friends and family!

The property was clean and easy to find. The owners were so helpful. We had several questions and they were always avaliable. The cottage is in a beautiful area and we were able to sit on our front porch and feed squirrels and chipmuncks. I would stay here again without question

We came up for our niece’s wedding. Weather was cold and windy. We used all of the blankets, but the space heater in the bedroom made all the difference. Our granddaughter (staying at the other cabin) enjoyed exploring the loft.

We loved our stay in this adorable renovated cottage! It’s only a short bike ride or walk to all the little shops and restaurants uptown. It was stocked with pretty much anything you could need. My only small complaint was there wasn’t any paper towels. But other than that we loved it and would definitely stay again!

Nice, comfortable, quiet cute cottage and great décor. Nice surprise to find newly installed A/C! Wonderful enclosed porch. Two other cabins are close by and share an outdoor area but it didn't feel intrusive, nice deck and firepit area. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Suggestions: upgrade at least a piece or two of the cookware, include toilet paper and get more towels if needed vs. one shower per day. The little laminated notes with restrictions about showering and toilet paper seemed odd and overly/unnecessarily controlling as you have laundry available.

This house was perfectly located for in town activities but yet far enough to relax quietly and peacefully around the campfire. Awesome hospitality from the hosts also! Definitely will stay here again!

This was a perfect space for our 2 adult/2 kid family. We stayed 3 nights, making one day trip onto Mackinaw Island. Really appreciated the short walk to downtown and the ferry dock (two young kids were able to make the walk with no complaints!) and the lodging was clean and comfortable. They actually had more than we were expecting (probably didn't need to bring my own paper towel, trash bags etc!). Overall a great trip... not sure when we'd be back in the area because we have a lot more places to see in MI but I would definitely recommend to anyone

Lovely place just minutes away from everything you could want. Ten minute walk to bridge/park/beach area and Michilimacinac, yet area is quiet and peaceful. Owners were very quick to answer any questions we had.
