About this cottage rental
Located in Fitzroy Falls, this charming cottage for $171 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Situated on a 140 acre family farm, the north facing Twin Oaks Cottage is the original home of the property - a self contained 2 bedroom cottage with sun drenched views over the lush pastures of the Southern Highlands. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we live. The cottage is in our house yard adjacent to the main house. While the two buildings are close to each other, we have minimal interaction. We will occasionally pass by the cottage on our way to the sheds but mostly we won’t interact if you chose it that way. There is a full kitchen, dining table and living room with a gas combustion heater. There is a main bedroom with a queen bed off the living area and the second bedroom has a bed bunk (2 single beds) and a queen bed in the same room. The cottage has 1 bathroom (with a shower) and separate toilet. (A fully assembled cot, highchair and large baby bath are available for your convenience). Twin Oaks Cottage is accommodation in a rural setting ideally suited for families. If you want to experience animals you're welcome to watch the lambs, fetch the eggs, and feed the chickens. There's a cubby house, sandpit and swings for children. Stroll the paddocks or go for a family bike ride together into the national park along fire trails. The tennis court faces into the paddock for a great afternoon match. We are a pet friendly farm. We know how special it is to travel away with your pets. We have a very friendly puppy Labrador who will be also playing in the yard we both share. For lovers or nature, go for bushwalks out to Fitzroy Falls, ride your mountain bikes or four wheel drive along fire trails through the picturesque Meryla State Forest to explore waterfalls big and small or find the grotto. Turn left out of the gate and you're so close. What's Close By Wineries, cafes and restaurants are all within 15 mins of Twin Oaks Cottage - Burrawang Café, Mt Ashby Estate, 20 mins to Bowral or 30 mins to historic Berrima. Mali Brae wedding venue is within 2.5 kilometers of Twin Oaks Cottage.

Our family had a beautiful time at Twin Oaks Cottage. The house and grounds are in beautiful lush condition, and were very safe for our children (three under 9) to run around and play on. Even a very thoughtful gift basket on our arrival with marshmallows to toast on the fire, carrots to feed the horses, and a lovely bottle of sparkling wine for the grown ups! Would definitely recommend staying at Twin Oaks.

I stayed for two nights and used it as my ‘getting ready’ place for my wedding nearby. It was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and my daughter loved visiting all the animals (especially the super friendly chickens!) We will definitely stay again in the future.

Twin Oaks Cottage is an amazing place to stay. Very relaxing and calm environment. The Cottage is very cozy and clean. Best place to stay for a retreat. Kate and her sons are very welcoming and accomodating especially Milo ❤️. We fed the horses some carrots and had some eggs from the chicken coop. They even had a welcoming basket with wine, marshmallows and carrots for the horses. They provided everything, you just need to go shopping for some groceries. The bonefire is the best part, they gave us some woods for it. We had barbie and they even had a list of places to go to. They have swings and playhouse for the kids. It’s all worth more than you pay for. Hoping to come back again next holiday.

Wonderful cottage that was cosey and warm. Cottage was clean and well presented and had no issues during our stay.
Situated to close to Mali Brae Farm making it the perfect place to stay if attending a wedding.

This is a gorgeous property with amazing views from the deck and lounge room. We loved having family games of tennis and sitting around the firepit watching the sunset. Would love to visit again.

Hello my fellow travellers, it’s the worst property I ever booked. When I when to the property there were someone already in there. We booked 1 month ago and don’t know how STAYZ run the business. We were all outside with the kids and it was freezing cold . We couldn’t find any house near. It’s was **** bad.
If anyone book through STAYZ you better book another property as-well if you want to enjoy your holidays.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the house and surrounding property. Our kids (and dogs) loved the space and loved the easy access to the outdoors, feeding chickens, feeding horses and taking advantage of nearby sights. Kate was excellent communicating with us on questions and we loved the fresh eggs and wine awaiting our arrival. We will be back!

It’s a good distance to all the local tourist spots and a cosy house. Our recommendation is to put blockout curtains in the living room. The host was very lovely and quick in responding. Thanks

Outstanding property on a farm. Everything exactly as described online. Very clean and well furnished, with even a portable cot provided. We liked the presence of the animals and especially the kids as the owners allowed them to feed the horses. Definitely would like to come back but this time in winter to use the bonfire.

The location was perfect for us and the house was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of space for our cavoodle to run around outside. Lots of magpies, cockies, black cockatoos and a few roos around. Bonuses were 6 average daily chicken's eggs and the wonderful spring water. Mobile data was for us marginal being with TPG, not Telstra, ok on the deck but not in the house except possibly in the wc (according to my wife!). This wasn't a problem however.

We stayed at Twin Oaks Cottage over the weekend and used the accommodation as a little hub for wedding preparation. The property manager, Kate, is super lovely, and responded to my queries efficiently. She was also very understanding and flexible with our requests and needs for the weekend. The cottage had everything we needed and we were spoiled with champagne and fresh farm eggs! It was a delight to stay here.
