Great room layout generally,
Comfortable twin beds
Unusual stairs into the room and to the bathroom.

location to the mountain was excellent
my room / apartment although very nice had no windows! also the exit signs in the room were so bright and next to our bed so had to cover to sleep . Wish this would have been thought through more in the layout.

So much bigger and better than we imagined!!!! Really enjoyed this place. It was a HUGE space with 1 bedroom, huge living area, huge kitchen and dining, 2 bathrooms and even our own private onsen!! Spectacular! The common area was also really cosy and lovely with board games and wine and sake to hang out on rainy evenings. Very much appreciated. Staff were kind too.

from our lodge to the parking lot it was a 200m walk through the slush/snow/ice. even though our lodge had a parking spot, the staff made it a point to tell us we would need to walk back and forth.
the staff were all aussies who could care less about their day jobs. i’m sorry it’s inconvenient that you have to do your job vs whatever conversation or tiktok you were watching during check in.
the room had no windows which was not clear during the booking at all.
the entire room also became a sauna when the heat is on. the house is clearly not efficiently insulated and comes with a heater that can’t be setup properly to maintain temperature consistently. the thermostat is on the ground floor but the bedroom is on the top of the loft. so while the downstairs is one temperature as there is no wall insulation, the top loft is considerably hotter and made sleeping almost impossible.
