State feels well arranged, very bright and relaxing, with terrace 32 m², fully equipped Sunbathing, table, .... Garden nicely decorated with flowers, cacti, fig, citrus fruits, and birds for companions. At 600 m from the beach walk of the sun, 300 m from all shops, and daily market and means of transport (SNCF and BUS). Free parking in private property at 120 meters. Access to this haven of peace by stairs, not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Beautiful property nestled in the hills of Menton. It had all amentities that were needed. Miguel was very patient with our lack of French. The 300 m hike (as it was a hike) back to the house from the coast is not for the faint at heart but good to help refresh after a food filled day in town! Would go back for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Menton. The property was clean and pretty much turnkey, except for a few incidentals like laundry soap, etc. The owners are delightful people. Miguel met us at the train station in Menton, saving us money for a taxi. The night before we left, we were invited to join Miguel, Maria and their grandson, who interpreted for us, for appetizers and drinks. This was a special occasion and one we will not forget. Our only real criticism would be that we were not alerted to the fact that the walk to the property from Menton is a steep uphill jaunt. While we are elderly, my wife and I are in good shape yet still found the climb home each night arduous and challenging. If you don't have a car, climbing the path is your only option, aside from a taxi. And mosquitos were somewhat annoying on both the path and on the terrace area at the property. However, again, we very much enjoyed our stay and have many great memories.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, tolle Lage
Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit tollem Blick auf Mentón und Meer. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die uns auch Tomaten aus dem Garten geschenkt haben und ein tolles Zitronen-Gelee und uns mit dem Gepäck geholfen haben. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

A lovely, peaceful holiday home
The apartment itself was excellent for us two, with good facilities. The patio is lovely, ideal for us to use our camping gas barbecue. The view of Menton & the sea is beautiful.
Maria & Miguel are excellent hosts, are two lovely people and very easy to get on with. Even though we can’t speak French we found communication easy specially with google translate on our I pad. All in all this is a beautiful place to stay.

A recommander.
La location correspond tout à fait à l'annonce. Tout est très propre et en bon état. Il faut aimer monter ou descendre à pied (portage des bagages avec petit tracteur à chenilles si nécessaire) mais la vue mer avec le jardin fleuri est exceptionnelle. Maria et Miguel nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

Les photos ne mentent pas ! Le logis est magnifiquement situé. Il faut aimer monter un peu mais le charme agit tout de suite une fois arrivé à destination. Quant aux hôtes, ils sont charmants et .... les confitures d'agrumes absolument délicieuses :-)

Ein Urlaub bei Maria und Miguel ist traumhaft schön!
Bereits die bebilderte Beschreibung der Ferienwoh-nung hat uns so begeistert, dass wir uns sofort entschieden haben, die Wohnung in schönster Lage am Hang über Menton mit dem Blick über die Stadt und in die Weite des Meeres und des Himmels zu mieten. Angekommen, von Miguel herzlich und zu allen Hilfeleistungen bereit, empfangen, hat die komfortable Wohnung am schönen Ort all unsere Erwartung sogar übertroffen.
Wir wussten gleich, hier werden wir es abseits vom Verkehr in der Stille überaus gut haben, uns ausruhen und glückliche Tage verbringen.
Wir kennen uns mit Ferienwohnungen seit Jahres aus. Nie haben wir eine gleichermassen perfekt ausgestattete und blitzsaubere Wohnung angetroffen, dazu in einem eigenen, freistehenden Gebäude neben dem Wohnhaus des Vermieters gelegen, mit einer durchgehenden Fensterfront (mit elektrifizierten Storen und schönen Vorhängen). Vom Bett aus haben wir das Meer und beim Aufgang der Sonne den sich rötenden Himmel gesehen. Auf der grosse Terrasse mit dem Tisch, wo wir selbst zur Zeit nach Weihnachten und Neujahr (2021/2022) morgens und mittags an der Sonne gegessen und gelesen haben, steht eine Bougainvillea, zu Recht als blühendes "Wunderblumengewächs" benannt. Die Terrasse, auf der wir uns aufghalten haben, ist optisch getrennt von der Terrasse des Vermieters vor dessen Wohnhaus . Der von Maria liebevoll und kenntnisreich gepflegte Garten mit Zwergpalmen und vielen anderen südlichen Gewächsen, Zitrusfrüchten und dem blau blühenden Baum, der Jacarabda mimosifolia, ist für die Gäste zugänglich als ein weiterer Aufenthaltsort.
Maria und Miguel haben uns immer wieder Zitrusfrüchte aus ihrem Garten gebracht.
Man tut sich am Ende des Urlaubs schwer, sich von dem Ort zu trennen. Was wir in den Norden mitnehmen: die Erinnerung an zwei wunderbare Ferienwochen, die freundschaftliche Verbundenheit mit Maria und Miguel und den Wunsch, wieder zu kommen.

Twee weken in het mooie Menton op een fantastische rustige plek.
Schitterende tuin, panorama en een complete bungalow in het bijzijn van de altijd gastvrije, sympathieke en waar nodig behulpzame Maria en Miguel. Kortom een aanrader voor iedere, wel goed ter been zijnde, Mentonliefhebber.

Hébergement très agréable et bien équipé dans un beau jardin avec vue sur la mer. Les propriétaires sont vraiment gentils et accueillants.
A savoir, la maison n'est accessible qu'à pied et un peu loin de la mer.

We werden heel vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. We werden geholpen met het dragen van onze bagage. Het huisje had inderdaad het uitzicht op zee dat er getoond wordt. Is in werkelijkheid nog mooier. Het huisje zelf was zeer netjes. Er was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Zelfs een wasmachine. We krgen ook zelfgemaakte vijgenjam en citroenjam. Op een gegeven moment hadden we pech met de auto. We zijn door Miguel zelf naar zijn eigen garage gebracht, waar de auto op zeer korte termijn gerepareerd is. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en aan te bevelen.

Exceptionnel !
Nous avons séjourné quelques jours dans le studio de Miguel et Maria d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipé ! Miguel prend le temps de remonter nos bagages muni d'un engin indispensable pour arpenter le chemin qui permet de regagner la maison ! Une fois arrivés, la vue est exceptionnelle sur la baie de Menton ! Le jardin de la maison fleuri et doté d'arbres fruitiers est digne des jardins exotiques de la région ! Merci pour votre accueil Maria et Miguel, à très bientôt 😉

Belle location avec des propriétaires très gentils, le seul bémol pour y accéder c'est très pentu, pour aller à la plage il faut descendre de nombreuses marches et traverser des rues. Bien pour des personnes en bonne condition physique.

Ce fut un très agréable séjour.
A commencer par l'accueil chaleureux de Maria et Miguel (les propriétaires). Ils sont serviables et se rendent disponibles pour quelconque besoin.
Le logement est d'une propreté remarquable et fonctionnel.
La terrasse et le jardin offre une vue imprenable sur la mer et est au calme.
La gare est à proximité ce qui permet de prendre le TER facilement. Le centre ville, la plage sont également à proximité. Ce logement est idéalement situé !
Je recommande à 1000%, vous ne regretterez pas ;)

La meilleure des locations de vacances
Perchée dans les hauteurs de la merveilleuse ville de Menton, cette petite maisonnette a tout le confort que l'on peut souhaiter pour passer un bon moment, avec, en prime, une vue sur la mer méditerranée à couper le souffle.
Rien ne manque, mais, ce à quoi on s'attend le moins, c'est d'avoir l'énorme privilège de pouvoir rencontrer Maria et Miguel, deux âmes d'une extrême gentillesse et pleines de générosité. En témoignait, en autre, chaque matin l'assiette de figues, fraîchement cueillies du figuier ornant le haut du magnifique jardin, déposée sur le pas de porte avant notre réveil.
Les voyages créent des rencontres. Grands voyageurs, nous avons rarement été autant marqués par nos hôtes.
A coup sûr, nous reviendrons.

Séjour parfait sur les hauteurs de Menton
Nous avons passés trois nuits dans le logement de Miguel et Maria. Celui-ci est parfaitement bien placé sur les hauteurs de Menton au calme avec un magnifique jardin et une très jolie vue mer.
Leur gentillesse et leurs petites attentions ont contribué à rendre notre séjour très agréable.
Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Une location parfaite pour des vacances, propreté impeccable . Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse!!! et toujours prêt a rendre service tout en étant discret. Maria und Miguel gehören definitiv zu den nettesten Menschen auf diesem Erdball. Das Studio ist perfekt für Ferien, der Garten ist ein wahrer Traum - wirklich ein Paradies, liebevoll und fachmännisch gepflegt. Der Blick übers Meer: unschlagbar. Dass man ein paar Minuten vom Parkplatz zum Haus laufen muss, garantiert auch, dass man wirklich seine Ruhe hat - die Stille ist unschlagbar. Für uns war es definitiv nicht das letzt Mal, dass wir dort waren.
