Our stay in this beautiful apartment was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The space itself is elegant and tastefully curated, filled with books and art that gave it a warm, lived-in charm rather than feeling like a typical rental. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we also used the sleeper sofa which exceeded our expectations. It was just as comfortable as a reagular bed. It did not feel like a sleeper sofa bed at all. Is was just perfect. The shower was a dream (truly!), and the bathroom was very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We honestly didn't do much cooking since the restaurants in Rome are so incredible, but it was reassuring to know the kitchen was ready for anything.One of our favorite features was the lovely patio with comfortable furniture, and a palm tree that provided nice shade. It was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city.The intire place stayed cool even durning the hot June days. There is air conditioning, but we really did not need. Our host, Raniero, was wonderful, gracious, warm, and attentive throughout our stay. Between the elegant and calm location, the thoughtful design of the apartment, and Raniero's hospitality, this was one of those places that made it genuinely hard to leave. We'd return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

The place was very clean and spacious. We also liked that is was away from all the busyness from the center of Rome. It was minutes away from the Colosseum, St. Peter's Square and the other tourist hot spots. When we returned from the tourist spots, it was nice to have the quiet down time back at Raniero's place.Raniero was a great host! He was very accommodating and super gracious with requests. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the quiet location beside the park and the excellent restaurants a short walk away. Raniero was an outstanding host who, upon arrival, gave us the lay of the land and remained available for local knowledge throughout our entire stay. Palm House 1 is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated. We hope to stay there again! The best VRBO we’ve ever rented.
